Pretty interesting concept, haven't seen any other games like this. I liked the graphics and the audio though, they really set the mood for everything
Really cool art style, it's a shame you couldn't finish it but great work nonetheless
Unfortunately the start button doesn't seem to work
I like the art and how the music starts to increase in pace, good job on this!
I love the idea and it is very funny to play while trying to get a high score
I like the strategy and the interesting take on the theme
Really smooth animations, and the art was incredible! The voice-overs really added a personalized touch to it, great job on this
Best game I've played so far!
The web version unfortunately doesn't work, here's the error message:Screen Shot 2022-04-04 at 7.18.02 PM.png
it is very creative and fun, I love the idea
Really unique concept! I like how there's so many different ways to traverse the levels, and the art is really well done, nice work!
That was really fun! I really liked the differently shaped arenas. It was a great a-ha moment figuring out how to get to the upgrade that was surrounded by the rocks. The music and sound effects were nice, and I think for the future you could add a sound for the car driving that could change as you upgrade your car to be stronger.
My one criticism would be that some times it was hard to find upgrades on the symmetrically shaped arenas. Maybe you could color the different sides of the arena so you can distinguish what parts of the map you have already gone to, in order to make it easier to find out where the upgrades might be.
As @barelyevengames has mentioned, having skippable/shorter cutscenes especially after death would be great, still, it was fun nonetheless!
Great animations, and I like that there's backstory in this one. The graphics are also really neat, with the 3D obstacles and all
@exevirus Nice! The difficulty definitely ramps up a lot after 500, but honestly we didn't expect many people to get past that, that's awesome!
@olivier-millochau Thanks for the feedback! For the sound effects I completely agree with you. We didn't have a lot of time to playtest the late-game, but looking back I'd definitely make it at least quieter
@iamsodarncool @roberto-romao
Thanks for the feedback, there was definitely a bit of a trade-off for the movement. We didn't have time to add in all eight direction animations so we had to choose between awkward controls or an awkward diagonal animation, but given more time we'd've definitely added that!
This was really well polished! It does start off a bit slow, but it definitely ramps up later on
The level design and the backgrounds were pretty interesting
