Such a cool game, I'm a huge fan of automation games and to see one in a game jam is awesome, especially in 3D. Its always hard to pull off these types of games due to how technical they can be so I'm quite impressed good job!

Good idea, reminds me somethig like Factorio! if it was extended by some other constructions, improvements and more to improve the behavior of the winter, I would be able to imagine it as a great game to be on Steam :)

I see a lot of Factorio inspiration here, and that's okay! I love factorio. Your game is really fun, but it could use some soft background music. :P

Fun for a while, but you only ever need one miner on each resource besides coal. Pretty soon heat doesn't present a threat as you don't need to do anything, just build more miners if loss becomes too high. UI is unintuitive at times. Also, not a fan of being able to pickup resources from all over the screen.
Automation games aren't anything new and usually feel to me a bit mindless, but the fact that this one has some actual stakes in it is refreshing. It generally takes a lot of systems to make this genre interesting, so great job on getting as much done as you did in this timeframe! (Also you should include instructions on how to rotate inserters)

Cool idea. The graphics are fine. The building mode with automation is a good mechanic and I really enjoyed it. Must have been quite a lot of work. Good job

great game, I really enjoyed it. I give high ratings. I would just like to know if I occupy all the coal deposits and burn it. Is it possible to do something further in the game or did I successfully finish the game? And what are walls for?

@mira Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, you completed the whole game. It was supposed to be harder with loss rate going up barely faster than you can make efficient heat production, but I had some balancing issues. Currently, If you play for way over 100 minutes or so loss rate will become higher than max production rate and you freeze.
Walls are mainly just for organization, but they're kind of useless.
Thanks!

Neat game. I initially thought you had to stand near the fire to get warmth so was a bit confused for a while. It would have been interesting if this was a mechanic and you had to build a house to trap heat inside. I had fun making long chains of crates and moving arms to move everything to one area.
This is a really good idea. I like the grabbing items from wherever as it meant walking around wasn't as punishing and using resources to maintain heat is a really cool use for a game like this. My main issues from it came from finding it a bit difficult. It took some experimenting to figure out some of the mechanics and it could do with a little more feedback to help the player know what's going on.
I love that you can build walls, automate things and that resource management, trees aside isn't at all punishing. It really allows you to just focus on the task at hand and it feels nice improving with each go at it. I'd love to see where this goes if you keep going with it. Some audio, heat being radius based and using things like walls to insulate the player better would be great to see!
As it is, I love the visual style, the controls don't feel awkward, being able to zoom in or out is a great touch and it's using a theme which is very fun. Well done making this!

Neat game! Good idea and great balance. Maybe the ambience sounds can be louder. Well done :)
Love me an automation game! Failed on my first attempt as I was too slow to figure out what I needed to do, but the second attempt was a breeze, and it was really satisfying once everything was up-and-running. Nice work!
