A funny game with a very interesting mechanic in the form of the boss. The paper collection phase does get a bit stale quickly, and I'm not a fan of button mashing on keyboard. However, the overall presentation is quite good and this game certainly stands out from the crowd.

Tower defense games can be a bit ambitious for a game jam. That being said, congrats on submitting a finished game! The Leaderboard feature is really cool and unique, I don't think I've ever seen a game jam game with one before. I'm sure with more time, you could add some polish to this game to make it a bit easier to understand the UI.

Impressive that this was made in a custom engine! Feels like you can just run forever in the 2nd part, so maybe having more enemies spawn would help add some tension.

Shotgun King: the Final Checkmate by benjamin 2022-04-07T21:27:04Z ♥ 1

Easily one of the best games I've played this jam. The intro story could use some fine-tuning, but otherwise shows a lot of promise!

A mellow tower-defense game, that's certainly new. Took me a minute to figure out how to actually place the towers, but overall this was presented quite nicely. Good job!

The Ultimate Martian Roulette by HaaYaargh 2022-04-05T19:02:04Z ♥ 0

Humorous as a short film, but extremely limited as a game.

Elder Run by Telkan 2022-04-05T18:57:13Z ♥ 0

Doesn't seem like much of a game, as you just become unable to jump at some point and instantly lose.

Automation games aren't anything new and usually feel to me a bit mindless, but the fact that this one has some actual stakes in it is refreshing. It generally takes a lot of systems to make this genre interesting, so great job on getting as much done as you did in this timeframe! (Also you should include instructions on how to rotate inserters)

A Small Fable by HiddenTavern 2022-04-05T18:14:34Z ♥ 3

An elegant game with cute art. The audio wasn't very memorable, however. But still a good game!

This Is Just A Game by Convg 2022-04-05T18:05:21Z ♥ 2

A cool idea, but a bit confusing at first because there isn't much feedback to player actions. Overall a great entry nonetheless!

A neat little game. Could use smoother camera controls, and jumping up surfaces is a bit rough, but overall good job!
