the game crashed when I got to the boss(?), so I couldn't make it to the end
I like the art a lot. The game crashed on me though. Maybe I was smashing the spacebar too much.
@badcop I added a version for windows, I will be glad if you reach the end
@stalemeat Thanks! i've add a windows version. I'll Be happy if you try it!
The art, music, movement and mood are awesome! The game felt buggy and unpolished though. Great effort, needs some refinement though.
The instructions were kinda hard to read. Overwise really good game
@adam-probert Thank you! Yeah, we spent a lot of time on general things and not much time on polishing.
Funny art! Easily to get what to do. But tutorial didn't disappear when you start to complete the task. Sometimes it gets in the way. Idea fits to Jam theme:D
SOOOOO FUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so cool, i loved it
Good artstyle, mediocre game design. All of the minigames are pretty basic and boring.
Great game and a really fun idea. Took a while to understand the mini games but I think I got the hang of it
interesting story with a funny end) great work done, i like the game and the theme :)
and cool music))
I really laughed at this, I could really empathize with S.Lacker!
I really liked the skill checks and the brilliant boss fight.
Great art, music, and game flow. Good job!
Cool style! The menu texts could be smoother, it was a bit hard on the eyes. :)
The music, nice pixel-art, and SPACEBAR SMASHING makes it a very pleasant and fun moment!
Cool game! I loved the comic-like intro. The music was good as well. It felt cohesive. I didn't like the space bar spamming mini-game, it would be alright to just have that be a small part of it but I had to do a lot of smashing and it's not the most engaging thing lol. Also a small bug: when I tried to lock pick and the journal popped up to show me how to and I pressed space and the lock broke, and then after some things I was unable to interact with by pressing space. Overall nice entry!
The sense of urgency is relayed very well! The art direction is also very fitting.
My gripes with the game are mostly with the controls; while getting stuck to the plethora of office furniture adds to the (likely intended) chaos, it's quite frustrating in the long run, as is the mashing minigame at the printer. Another possible improvement would be clearing up the instructions a bit.
A funny game with a very interesting mechanic in the form of the boss. The paper collection phase does get a bit stale quickly, and I'm not a fan of button mashing on keyboard. However, the overall presentation is quite good and this game certainly stands out from the crowd.
Awesome game, great art, animations and scenes. Only thing I did not like were that the tutorials always popped up and it made me mess up a few of the minigames, because I pressed space. But overall very nice entry.
this was a fun game with even more fun minigames, I liked the art and music combination. the sexual stuff was unnecessary though
Fun game, nice idea. Fit the theme well. A bit buggy, but in overall considering the time, very well done. Graphics are interesting, I liked it. Good job!
I took me until the end of the game to realize I was getting the paper specifically to circumvent the stamp, I really like that detail! Though I wasn't so much a fan of mashing the space bar to GET the paper... And I had NO idea what to do during the computer minigame; though I actually assume that I was just being ignorant there. The cabinet game is juuust fine, though.
The tutorial text is also VERY difficult to read.
But it IS cool to see that you included cutscenes as well. I sure wish I could've flexed my artistic skills during this jam.. The musics pretty good as well! There's this air of humor around the game as well, like how you can just *slide blank papers on top of your slip* to keep yourself not-fired. That kind of absurdist humor is one that I approve of.
Really good first jam entry! Be proud of yourself!
had some issues with the font and the tutorial keeps popping up over gameplay, otherwise fairly well polished, liked the graphics and sound, the minigames were engaging enough.
printer minigame was REALLY hard, mashing as fast as humanly possible it still feels like it just BARELY fills the bar to win....my poor space bar...
Sooolid entry, was not a fan of the spacebar minigame thingy, my spamming couldn't keep up but the rest was so fun, great stuff!
I liked this game a lot! The art is great (especially the little comic segments). I also liked the music and sound effects, I think they added a lot to the game. There was plenty of humor too and think it captures the theme pretty well. My only criticism s that the tutorial popped up before each minigame, which made it a bit confusing and a hassle. The minigames themselves weren't too bad and I liked the variety, but I agree that they were a bit of a hassle too! Overall I think you nailed almost everything with this game! Good job! :)
So cool! and interesting! Love how you have a boss fight too!
A solid game with a ton of variety. Funny, how all of those QTE's felt just as annoying as real office chores :)
Love the art and general humour of this game, wasn't really all that sure how the boss battle works to be honest though! While the "tasks" were basic the rush of it against the clock really added to the intensity (much like a real office... from personal experience). I love the comic style art at the start also!
omg art is great, good game!
fun lil game. i dig the art style the games. the mini games could have a bit more polish but overall fun time killer
I liked the art, but I do wish I could have skipped it on subsequent plays
Hahahaha I was like, why am I collecting paper, but then the boss fight happened (best part of the game imo) Cool art and even cutscenes??!! Great job
Lol, this may be the most innovative "boss battle" I've seen.
I like the visuals and the story. The gameplay was not always super clear, and I did not always knew what to do. But I still had fun trying the game.
I love the art style, it was a fun collection of minigames, but it was a bit hard to understand what to do. I enjoyed it though. The cutscenes and boss battle were really well done as well. Enjoyed it a lot!
I love the graphics style, but gameplay-wise I think this could use some more time in the oven? Normally I'm happy for a tutorial/instructions in these, but the game keeps shoving directions I've already read in my face and they get in the way of actually doing the minigames. Also, the paper jam minigame requires WAY too much button-mashing - I managed to get the bar all the way full, but it still wasn't enough?
One more technical thing: I had some REALLY ugly screen-tearing. I don't know if it's a universal issue, but it was really distracting. I don't know if fixing it is a simple matter of enabling Vsync, but please consider it.
Nice one!
I really enjoyed this! (though my keyboard maybe didn't haha...)
I like all the different types of minigames, they all work really well. But I think maybe the paper jam could be a bit quicker since the other activities felt much faster to me.
The game was polished across the board, though I had a bit of trouble reading the instructions with the very pixelated font. I enjoyed the humor, especially that awesome comic style intro. Overall, this was a great submission. Awesome job!
I didn't understand the printer minigame and always got stuck with it just spamming the spacebar. Really liked the graphics and cutscenes. The pixelated font was a bit difficult to read though
