This is really cool. I'm surprised that you had time for good level design! The player felt bouncy and he was fun to play as :)

This is really cool. I'm surprised that you had time for good level design! The player felt bouncy and he was fun to play as :)
There's an unintended side effect of your code where if you shove the box into bubby he will switch direction no matter what direction he's already facing, which makes for- while unintentional, pretty fun, new solutions to your puzzles that you may not have forseen.
Nice work! I can confirm that Bubby is dumb, but cute.
I was able to complete all the levels, and what I thought was cool was that there's kind of two different types of levels: * Ones where you take your time and think out the solution * Ones where the solution is clear but you are rushing to do it I think the fact that you also get to do some death-defying platforming on your own in between saving Bubby is the reason for this, and I appreciate it.
I could see this being the kind of game that works well with a level editor! A more short-term feature I'd appreciate is having a fast-forward button once you get your solution in place and are just waiting for Bubby.
I think what also might be good is having the tutorial popups stay on the screen (i.e. have them be "part" of the level) since at first it's a bit hard to remember the keys.
Bubby is amazing. He smiles even when walking off a ledge into a pit of spikes below. The design was great for the levels you put together. It was nice to see some variety in the different solutions!
Love it! Feels kind of like Lemmings.
Not sure the tutorials are necessary. I would at least make them less thorough. Much of what you teach, people will intuitively pick up in seconds. I think your design speaks for itself. Maybe think of replacing 'f' with 'e'. In my experience, that's the most common choice for that kind of action.
Love the concept, like the puzzles. Great game!
Nice. Like the idea. Pretty good puzzles. Good game!
Bubby is such a cute :dog: (is he a dog?) and I enjoyed the Lemmings-esque gameplay. You did good in coming up with as many levels as you did, bravo
Bubby is cute and you did a great job with explaining concepts with your level design! Great job. I wish there was a button to speed up Bubby earlier on, but maybe I am just impatient :)
Cool idea. Fits the theme and leaves room for puzzle AND timed jump and rund levels. I like that you can take your time with looking at the level before starting it. Nice game all in all.
Nice game, Whistler's Brother reloaded :)
A few more stages would help, but you had a good selection. Well done!
The game reminded me a bit of lemmings, but with different controls ^^ The mechanics could lead to some interesting puzzle, with multiple bubby, multiple switch or lots of boxes, too bad you didn't had time to create more: it could be cool to have a post-jam version to see what you can do with the cute bubby :)
I absolutely don't know what Bubby is. The puzzle mix with realtime is cool. The graphics of course would need rework. Also I would make the text larger or more visible (in the center). I am glad that you didn't forget the tutorial!
Cleared the game! Like the idea - quite adorable. Some music would be a nice addition, but solid gameplay and concept. Awesome!
Great fun! A nice level of challenge that progressively increased, by the end I was stressing out! Did manage to finish after a couple of attempts. Nice job!
This was fun. The puzzles were tricky, but once I understood the concept I enjoyed working them out. Cute graphics too. :)
Why is Bubby so cute?
