Source code link/repo is empty too. Title image looks interesting though.
Unfortunately link is still broken
the img looks awesome~ but yup. broken link :c
link appears to be broke, would love to try an economy game
Sadly your link is broken.
Broken link. SUbscribing to thread to see when you upload it. :)
Shame the link is broken, the cover makes the game look awesome!
dead link @ me when its back up plz
Broken link @ when back ;)!
Aw ): Broken link, sounded like such a cool idea.
Hey all. Thanks for the comments. Looking into the broken link/github
I'm a fool and didn't press PUBLIC! Should work on itch now! Github might take a bit more time
Link fix working. It's an interesting little economics, sim. The interface is perhaps a little bit awkward though.
I love the 3D models of the buildings and the landscape! The gameplay felt a little tedious to me though. I think I'd be more into it if I could switch between the different buildings instantaneously. Could work really well as a board game!

Thanks for letting me know the link was broken. Would love it if you tried to play again :)
@princesschoochoo Thanks for playing. The interface was a little tricky to design given all the information I had to get across. How'd you find it awkward?
Thanks @maxflav. Completely self taught myself 3D modelling, so that's a great compliment!
Tedious gameplay is the main rub I'm hearing right now. The idea of spreading out the buildings was to encourage the player to make buy/sell decisions that would result in the fewest journeys (i.e. if I'm at the farm to sell cloth, I may as well buy food now too because the lumber mill needs it next).
That's not coming across as well as I hoped, so I may roll it back in the next iteration. Thanks for the feedback
@sacrface I think it was mostly just the combination of the first-person movement and UI interface.
Oh one other thing is that it wasn't clear to me that the town was all one location. I thought the different stalls mattered at first and was confused for a while.
It would be great if the controls were shown in the game world rather than on a giant wall of text.
@sacrface I had the same problem with the link, turns out I left the game on draft mode. Sad. The controls make me little crazy, I was not able to give a full turn with my character, maybe it only happends to me? It took me a while to understand how the game works. I really like the concept, and oh the graphics, nice once. I would love to be able to do something like that. I would for sure improve the UI and the way I present the mechanics to the player. That is always a challenge on games with a lot of mechanics like this one.
@princesschoochoo Fair call on the market stores. I will improve. Thanks for the feedback :)
@rjerez192 Such an easy thing to do right? One checkbox between draft and public! Submitted my game at 4am (Australia) and woke up at 10 with all the comments. I lost 6 hours of views!!!
Big thing I learned this weekend is economics are hard! Even if you strip away all the detail/metadata like I had to, the math supporting everything and the UI needed to hold it together is incredible. I went through about 3-4 different design iterations, and clearly it's still not 100% effective.
I'll need another gamejam to get a proper tutorial going. Thanks for the feedback!
@sacrface no worries man. I had the same problem. ended up making a management game and had to re-do calculations like 3-4 times. Anyways it was fun.
 Yep, now it works! Looks good!
Link worked well for me. The biggest issue I face right away is the UI was broken for fullscreen on an ultrawide.
Barring that, this game has a very tight gameplay loop that takes some strategy at the beginning. Good work.
Wow this game is complex for a compo entry, congrats! :o Really like that there is a little town to run around in, the graphic style is simple and stylish. Took a while to work out how the economy worked but once I did I was running to a fro like a busy little bee. I hope you continue to iterate on this game once the competition is over, I think it could become a full fledged title :D
Game is playable and thats great! ..but to make it shine you should consider adding some action -> reaction (fun games consists of 3 elements: challenge, reward/impact and fantasy. Watch this video, it quickly and nicely will show you this model https://youtu.be/7L1B5YaxxoA
Thanks for letting me know @maindric . What's the resolution of an ultrawide? (Though honestly, I only really tested on a 16:9). Thanks for the niceties about gameplay. Once you get around the starting complexity, I'm quite proud of the "loop" as you called it.
@alex-mulkerrin Thank you. Certainly my most complex jam game yet. The starting difficulty curve is rougher then I like, but I'm glad you got past it into the core gameplay. That "busy bee" (the gameplay loop) feeling is exactly what I was aiming for. Thinking about adding more detail to it...like having the buildings actually change models during an upgrade for starters.
@bigtinygames Thanks for the video. Don't worry, I'm certainly familiar with the concept. Adding extra models that grow with the upgrades the player implements should help with the feeling of progression.
Hi Sacrface,
Loved the game! The giant wall was a bit intimidating, but once I got into the game it was a fun puzzle to solve.
Strangely satisfying. I liked this one a lot! :)
It's a refreshing concept! In city management games I seldom see trade management in them too. I'm not sure if I like or dislike having an fps perspective instead of the usual top down.
As feedback, the solution to the problem doesn't seem to change -- buy/sell. I'd have loved if there were stakes, like price fluctuation through the day and you have to learn them, or invest in the buildings to keep them from going bankrupt.
I really like this game. I can only imagine the time it took to create the models, which look incredible! Art is not my strong suit and 3d art is not something I even attempt! The only issues I had were the lack of audio, a little confusion with the marketplace stalls and the text on the daily report not centered vertically. The lack of audio is understandable given the graphics and all the math you had to do. Overall this was a fun and satisfying game to play!
This goes pretty deep for an LD. Good effort! The collision is a little sticky, couldn't walk up some small ledges. Really Like the vibrant colors and the low poly art. Relaxing economy sim. Well done!
