Controls feels little janky but very nice graphics and cute mood.
The highlight of this game was definitely the puns. Loved it! Some of the jumps were slightly irritating but I was entertained enough to finish it out. And I'm not gonna lie I played with the water drops at the end until they were maxed out.
Fun little title, I liked it! Some of the enemy placement was pretty clever, but I'd have liked to see you make use of the main mechanic of vision reduction more, as is it didn't really effect my gameplay a whole lot.
Nice, idk why but that little spin was super satisfying. Felt great finally figuring out how to get past the row of birds that have variable speed. Thumbs up!
Nice 5 minutes games! good music.. I finish all of it!.. Nice pun, ha ha.. More level please..
Really fun game, i like the way you did the fog of war, and i played more with the water drops than the birds.
That spin - that spin is fantastic! Made me smile every time. Aha.
Like the style. As someone said, slightly irritating controls/jumps sometimes, but that is was games like these are supposed to be like. Annoying - and then you play some more. Didn't know plants were afraid of birds... :) ...and bonus point for the puns...
@listonos @galgris Thanks for the feedback! Could you guys elaborate on what part of the controls you didn't like? Was it that the jump button didn't always work when you pressed it right after another jump?
Most of the time It was probably because of my bad timing. I think I have issues with the lack of physics. No momentum. The plant moves and stops instantly when pressing or releasing the arrow keys, even in mid air. Nothing wrong with having it that way, It's just me... ;)
Really interesting game! I like the graphics a lot, and the little tune that accompanies my adventure. The game controls felt really tight and some of the levels were pretty tough so I appreciate the fact that there's no "lives". Overall great job :)
Pretty good game, nice graphics, I was kinda dissapointed at the end because the light was never really a problem, so If the light life was shorter, it would make the game more interresting.
With such dialogue, I get why the plant was left behind. Wait.
Fun platformer, really liked the humor of it. As feedback, I would say to make the dialogue static, especially on the tutorials. Otherwise you have to stop to read.
That's one adorable plant ^^ A solid little platformer. Could use some sound effects but overall this is great! =D
Super fun with great puns. It feels like a game that speed runners would latch on to. Great job!
I like how you made very few assets and made a whole game with them!! Nice roll animation! Hahahaha
Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the Universe than we do now...
nice work! fun graphics/character and concept.
That is a nice little game! I really like the visual style =)
Neat game! Very well polished and feels super good. Cute graphics and... puns... good job!
great puns! I'm here after watching your video on how you made it. Pretty cool stuff
@ldd Awesome, thanks for the support!
The jokes are funny and the art and music are good; some sfx's would be nice as well. I also noticed that the controls need some work, for example there is no grace jumping. Also, the UI is rendered behind obstacles.
The humor was on point :D
Nice little game, mechanics are solid and the jokes are hilarious. Another mechanic or more levels would have rounded it up, but nice job anyway!
