LD46 — Keep it alive

Morse Code Hero by ratly 2020-04-23T19:53:46Z

I like the originality, but I had a really hard time matching the right tempo! Maybe you could add some visual feedback of what the player is really typing. Otherwise, pretty cool challenge!!! I wonder if anyone completed The Raven though! That's a crazy hard one to accomplish!!

Eternal Flame by Galgris 2020-04-26T22:19:35Z

I enjoyed the minimalistic graphics and sound effects. However, I think a checkpoint system would be much appreciated!!

Lemons! by funisfun8 2020-04-25T01:33:18Z

I like the graphics and the whole idea! However, I'd add a speed-up button because the game feels a bit slow once you get the hang of it. I don't know if it's a problem with the build, but there were no sound effects here. Maybe you could have done some simple ones with your mouth. Keep it up! This game has potential! Haha

Tiny Fragments by Daniel Moreno 2020-04-20T23:21:14Z

This game is very original and fun to play!! Tight controls, matching sound effects, great art style, level design!!! Simply amazing! 5 stars all the way!!

Lignum Vitae by IDidGame 2020-04-23T18:19:58Z

Could you please export it for the web? I would like to play it, but I don't have a Windows machine at hand right now. Maybe I'll test it later.

Lignum Vitae by IDidGame 2020-04-23T20:42:48Z

The low poly graphics are really nice! I also enjoyed the sound effects. They play an important role in letting the player know something wrong is going on. I think the controls were a bit off though. It was hard to control the player up the hills and there was no visual cue for when you could push the balls away. Nonetheless, great simple game!! Keep it up! You could definitely enhance it and release as a casual game!

Hey, the link is broken. :sob:

It's really nice to see more and more games made with Godot! This one is quite interesting! If you had more time, you could definitely add several visual/audio feedback cues. I myself made a game of similar genre, in which you have to nurse and protect an alien pet, but mine was a bit different. This game has great potential! Keep it up! o/

Bodyguard by kodran 2020-04-20T03:19:33Z

Nice little game you got there! The graphics are very pleasant. The gameplay is a mix of smooth and stressful! I like it! I got to level 3, but I'm pretty mentally tired from making my own compo game, so... Hahaha

Tip: not everyone has a windows machine. You've got to export for the web or the other main OSs if you want more exposure.

Tomb Of Ice by Vectrex28 2020-04-20T03:08:25Z

OMG!! I never thought I'd play a NES game made here!! This was a huge surprise. The graphics and gameplay are simply great!!!! I don't know if it was a problem with my emulator, but there was no sound in the game. That's the only negative in my opinion. Congratulations!!! Keep up this superb work!

Hamloon by NoelOskar 2020-04-20T02:47:33Z

I like the concept and the art. It's all very cute and tidy! The game rules are very clear upfront. The needles/nails are pretty hard to see when the balloon is passing by the forest, though. People playing on smaller/darker displays would have a hard time. Maybe you could add more contrast with other colors or adding some visual cue to the nails. To enhance controls, I'd suggest making a toggle for the mouse so that we don't need to keep the left button pressed the entire time to destroy the nails. I'd also add more speed-ups. I got anxious for being so slow. lol Looking forward for more games! Keep it up! :)

Ludum Creare by Jon Topielski 2020-05-08T08:32:16Z

I managed to play it to the end and I found the game very polished! I also enjoyed all the programming jokes and choices you put there. Great submission!

Blooming with You by Junebug 2020-04-22T20:51:44Z

Hey, what a lovely little experience I just had! I like the mood this room in which everything takes place has. It's all very cozy. Even though the background music is simple, it's very appropriate for the whole casual aspect of the lonely-but-virtually-connected situation. Keep it up!!

Soul Cube by nikor 2020-04-23T18:15:43Z

Pretty bold!!!! Multiplayer is not an easy challenge. I know it should have been hard to make it the way it already is, but I guess you could have added some GUI for frag count at least. Nice job either way!

Save the torch! by eduardogacn 2020-04-29T00:29:19Z

I really enjoyed the aesthetics of the game and the soundtrack. I think it all helps maintain the player engaged. However, I think the game was a bit difficult. Sometimes I was out of life and the fire from the enemy explosion blew off to inconvenient spots so that it was impossible to retrieve the main fire. Anyhow, maybe this difficulty was indeed intentional. Keep up the great work! :)

Spoon by Cadstor 2020-04-23T20:08:38Z

Hahahahhahahaaha I don't know why but this game made me laugh!! Hahahaha I think the looks are great! All the color gradients of the background and the sprites are simply great. I'd just work a little on the animations. Maybe adding some IK to the body parts and animating them would suffice. I really enjoyed the sound effects! Hahahaha Keep it up!

Don't Leaf Me by MickeyO 2020-04-20T16:27:57Z

I like how you made very few assets and made a whole game with them!! Nice roll animation! Hahahaha

Could you make a version for web or macos?
