Operation SOL-3 by Criobite 2020-04-30T06:22:11Z ♥ 1

Nice work :)

Few pointers:

* Wow, great to see a shooter in the jam! I haven't played one yet, and yours felt great :) awesome feedback

* Visual effects were great, and as said above, gave great feedback to in-game actions

* Music was great too! Props to the artist!

* Game was challenging, but not crazy difficult - which was a fantastic mix, made the game super enjoyable.

All in all, great work, and I hope to see more at the next Jam :)

Trappy Dungeon by Potato Bot 2020-04-30T06:18:47Z ♥ 1

Nice game! Pretty challenging though, and very punishing. Checkpoints would be nice! :P

Type or Die by pepperkep 2020-04-30T06:11:34Z ♥ 2

Awesome work :)

Here's a few pointers:

* Gameplay was great, as a touch typist it's always a great challenge to play games like this. Reminds me of Type of the dead!

* I like the humour in the game, it was well executed!

* Such a great idea too, I haven't seen any other typing games in the jam so far :)

Hope you guys do the next jam!

Burning Time by pixelcrustpunk 2020-04-29T04:46:06Z ♥ 3

Nice work here! I go into these games blind without reading the descriptions, and your game was incredibly intuitive and I knew what I was doing from the start.

A few points:

* Graphics were fantastic, I love the game's style and your sprites were great to look at.

* Sound effects are cute! They fit the graphics well and create a nice mood in the game.

* The gameplay is great, controls felt awesome and I didn't feel held back by them.

Awesome work, and I hope to see more from ya in future Jams :)

Keep me alive by dick-claus 2020-04-29T04:43:23Z ♥ 1

Fun game :)

A few points:

* Levels were well designed! Moar!!

* Graphics were nice! The artwork fits well.

* Someone mentioned a lack of tutorial, but honestly I didn't feel it needed one, within a few seconds I knew what I was doing.

All in all, nice work :) Great work for the time constraints.

Need for Feed - High Voltage by slam0 2020-04-29T04:40:01Z ♥ 0

Good game! I'll admit that I go into these games blindly, and don't read the descriptions, so it took me a bit to figure out what I was doing. I didn't let this affect my experience negatively though, due to time constraints tutorials become an after-thought.

Few things I picked up:

* Graphics were pretty good, some good programmer art :)

* The MacOS version didn't work for me personally, I had to play the Windows version.

* The gameplay felt good, but as someone mentioned above, it feels kinda unfinished. Feels like it's ALMOST there.

All in all, nice work under the time constraints! Hope to see more in future jams!

cheяnoбуl simulator (chernobyl simulator) by Hamzeh 2020-04-29T04:03:18Z ♥ 3

Nice work you've done here :)

A few pointers:

* It's not really incredibly clear what to do in the game, I prefer (to my detriment sometimes) to go into a game blind, and it took me a few attempts to really grasp the game's systems. I got there in the end.

* It's fun exploiting a movement bug by moving diagonally to go faster :P

* Graphics look great, you guys did well on this front!

Hope to see you guys in the next Jam, hope you're happy with what you've achieved! It's great

The Gumbo Garden by Guardaro 2020-04-29T03:59:51Z ♥ 1

Nice work, a fun game! Here's a few things I noted:

* The music was excellent, and as Kszaku mentioned above, the fact that it adapts to the events in the game is fantastic, makes things more tense for sure.

* It took me a few playthroughs to get the hang of it, I think it's not really that clear what you should be doing when you first start, but that may change from player to player.

* When I lost my first few games, it was more of a sudden "game over", there wasn't much leading up to the game over that told me I needed to pay attention. I later noticed that the plants start showing black when they are rotting. Might've been nice to have them shake or something as well, or hear a sound effect.

* I liked the graphics, they were crude, sure, but I think they suited the game well and I think with the time that was allotted to such a project, you guys did great and you should be proud of what you've accomplished :)

Hope to see you guys in the next Jam!

Blazerunner by Raivk 2020-04-29T03:54:10Z ♥ 5

This is so good!

* I loved the menu effects, as well as the general atmosphere of this, it's so incredibly polished and you guys should be real proud of what you've done in the time allotted.

* The game concept is incredibly fun, and even though it's challenging, it makes me want to play more to get better!

* The physics feel great

All in all, great work :)

LD 46 - Guinea Pug by Notredamstra 2020-04-29T03:50:35Z ♥ 1

Nice game! Really had fun with this one.

* The pug slapping the ground in the little intro for the story was hilarious, actually got a laugh out of me.

* The controls felt good, and it was satisfying to use the arrows to do "trick jumps".

* The game was challenging enough, but not frustratingly hard, I felt like I could actually get it if I tried hard enough.

The sound was great and fitted the graphics, and the music was a nice choice too. I almost think that the music could've been a little louder.

Nice work :)

Are you kitten me, Cthulhu? by BIG EVIL CORPORATION 2020-04-29T03:46:03Z ♥ 1

Haha man, I didn't read any of the description information, just the controls and went in blind. It actually startled me when tentacles started flying in out of nowhere. Fun game haha, played a few rounds of it to get the hang of it and all in all I think it's some good work! Controls felt good, and the sound effects were good. Background music was good too.

Nice game to get it done in the time given, and I had fun. Hope you're happy with what was achieved. :)

The Dumb Kid's Job by Yvanor 2020-04-24T05:27:26Z ♥ 1

Wow, this is sick! I love games that meld 2D and 3D, and you did it beautifully! I like the intro to the game as well (and thank you for allowing me to speed up dialogue with spacebar!!). Controls felt good, aiming was good. Fantastic work. :)

The Last Stand by DangItsPang 2020-04-24T05:23:28Z ♥ 0

Nice! I actually made a similar game in Godot :)

Dryad by xfinktion 2020-04-24T05:20:52Z ♥ 1

Nice! Definitely agree with stolen_biscuit, I didn't really know what was going on. I kinda just shot, and then magically beat the wave, even though the heat seeking enemies were following me. The movement felt nice though, and the controls were responsive. I liked the "pew pew" sound effects too. :)

Lost Beneath by Honey Pony 2020-04-24T05:10:41Z ♥ 1

Pretty challenging! I'm definitely no good at platformers. The movement friction was a little frustrating actually, frequently causing me to lose a life. Beautiful art work, and I liked the dialog system as well. Nice :)

Drop the egg Jeff by Dextreon 2020-04-23T22:55:56Z ♥ 1

Super unique game here! I saw the video on Reddit and thought it looked so good, plays even better :) Although you make it look easy in the video

Wow nice team effort :) Liked the artwork a lot.

UnLeeched by Jason Q 2020-04-21T06:40:00Z ♥ 3

Wow nice :) Really neat game. A lot of content for 48 hours, that's for sure. The controls felt good, and I feel the audio matched the aesthetic of the game too.

Trollwoods by zondarg 2020-04-21T05:03:25Z ♥ 2

Nice work :) Fun game AND it's even more awesome because it's built in Godot :)

Bugs And Glitches v1.0 by PeelyGames1019 2020-04-21T04:59:30Z ♥ 1

Cool game! A lot to get done in 48 hours :) Nice.

Great game, fun and had a great mood. The minimalistic SFX were nice too :)

Square Loves Circle! by meelo 2020-04-21T04:32:56Z ♥ 1

Really fun and challenging :) Nice work. Can't beat the third level though :P

Robositter Infernal by Phlip45 2020-04-21T04:25:14Z ♥ 1

Nice work! Pretty neat game. I like that the zombies agro when they're hit, makes it that much more tense. :)

Stoke The Flame by indieaustin 2020-04-21T04:23:01Z ♥ 1

Nice game! I like the art a lot. I found it pretty hard to find trees though, their spawn rate seems a little low.

My Pet Rock by GameGenesis 2020-04-20T10:34:18Z ♥ 1

Creepy game! Really loved the atmosphere. Tim sure is evil! I also liked the player animations, I aspire to have a walk like him some day.

Rebutia by 43sam 2020-04-20T10:22:11Z ♥ 2

Really enjoyed the graphics, the game had a great vibe :) Matched the theme well

Keep the flame alive by Dimling 2020-04-20T08:53:37Z ♥ 1

Cool game :) It was fun, and I reached the helicopter. The controls felt great too. I would've liked some more audio to set the mood, but understand it could've been due to time constraints that these weren't added. :)

Plant Stranding by Gareth001 2020-04-20T08:41:20Z ♥ 0

Wow, this is a fantastic looking Godot game. Pretty difficult, but I got the hang of it after a while. Neat game, and I'm surprised that this was done within 48 hrs! Nice.

Swarm by DerKuchen 2020-04-20T08:29:35Z ♥ 1

Fun game! I really like the concept. The controls felt good, and I think the speed was about right. It's not difficult to beat, but it's tough to master and get 3 stars on all levels. :)

Protect the Pup! by Maindric 2020-04-20T08:23:48Z ♥ 1

Made me laugh looking at the cute dog! Nice modelling, and the first 3D game I've ever played from Godot :) Nice work mate.

$#!% Luck by anchoredtoad 2020-04-20T06:37:55Z ♥ 1

Wasn't really sure what to do despite reading all instructions. The aiming felt a little off, not sure whether that was intentional for difficulty purposes. Also wasn't sure how to place turrets, right click didn't seem to do anything?

Where did this baby come from? by maxflav 2020-04-20T06:34:51Z ♥ 1

Pretty funny game idea honestly, nice work coming up with it. Quite a challenging game too, I didn't even get past the second level after around 10 minutes of trying haha. Granted, I didn't use the undo, felt like it was cheating.

Don't Leaf Me by MickeyO 2020-04-20T06:31:39Z ♥ 1

Really interesting game! I like the graphics a lot, and the little tune that accompanies my adventure. The game controls felt really tight and some of the levels were pretty tough so I appreciate the fact that there's no "lives". Overall great job :)

Keep It Alive Game by ZerohBeat 2020-04-20T06:21:18Z ♥ 1

Couldn't get the HTML5 version to work, just a black screen. I think you may have missed the part where you have to zip up the web files it spews out :)

Fun game though, glad to see more people using Godot :)

Tom Braider by Nick Barrash 2020-04-20T06:17:03Z ♥ 1

A pretty intuitive game! After seeing the instructions, I took off with relatively no learning curve. The actual puzzles in the beginning were a little confusing, I almost wish that there was some kind of health replenish "station" or pickup after each section of the beginning. Overall though a great achievement for such a limited amount of time. :) Nice

IGKNIGHT: Keeper of Flame by sacredbacon 2020-04-20T06:09:52Z ♥ 2

I really like the art direction, as simple as it is, it's quite charming. I like the audio as well, it really matches the aesthetic you have going on. The gameplay it self is challenging, I like the aim style, it's difficult to start with, but it quickly becomes muscle memory to either scroll quickly, or spam the arrow keys to get in the right direction.

My best score was 17.85 seconds :) Damn those lizards move quick

Plant life - My LD 46 Game by AcidViper 2020-04-20T06:04:40Z ♥ 1

I really liked the concept, and the artwork, and sounds. It all really fit together well. But what frustrated me was the clunky controls. I'm not sure whether this was intentional or not, but it felt like one of those games that forces artificial difficulty upon the player through controls. I feel the game would have been just as challenging had it featured more responsive controls. Faster bullets would've been nice too.

But damn, nice job for an engine you're not familiar with :) It's quite an achievement to do that in such a small timespan.
