Game is missing restart button when youg get stuck.
@brtek007 Thanks, you right. Just didn't have time to implement it. Maybe in post compo version.
Nice game! Would love it to have more levels though.
Awesome look and feel! I must admit that I didn't really understand if some of those apples in the 2nd level can be eaten, I just skipped them because I failed on the first try and got stuck, after skipping them the game became pretty easy
I feel like this had a lot more potential for neat puzzles if you just had a little more time. I'd encourage you to keep building on it.
Chrome says the file is dangerous, that might affect your score a lot...
@brokenvectors Chrome is stupid. That killed flash that I was using for game development before. People that don't trust the executable can compile from source.
I feel like I didn't fully understand the game - on the first level, I couldn't figure out how to win, so I tried eating all of the tiles - but then realized that the "Esc" button at the bottom wasn't an instruction about controls, but was actually part of the game. The second level, I didn't see how to get most of the apples. The third level went fine though ;). I never figured out what this guy did:

The audio was really nice to listen to, though, and the graphics were simple, but seemed quite polished.
I tend to like these kinds of puzzle games but I assume you sadly didn't have much time to work on level design. I did like the music track. Is there a way to get the apples on the second level without getting boxed in?
Nice music. The game was fun but short of course. I know you acknowledged the missing restart button but that's my biggest complaint.
@meelo Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have time to create a proper tutorial. And some of the items on map were just not implemented features. Yeah, the second level I did tricky on purpose, but again you can't collect all the apple without one of the features missing :(
@silkworm-sweatshop You supposed to be able to push capacitors, but I didn't have chance to implement that feature. That's why two apple on the second level are not collectable :(
So sad you did not have the time to implement all the features you had in mind, because the core concept is here, the music is cool, the game only lacks of one feature and more levels and it would be complete!
Good job for making this in java! I could not do it, it would remind my job xD
Nice little game, the art does the work! Glad to see another developer using LWJGL :)
Would have loved to test the game mechanic to get the apples of the second level ;)
Ahh, those childhood memories of me trying escape from scissors. Such nostalgia.
Also, stuck on the second level.
For those who need help to run - use the command line: java -jar KeepMeAlive.jar
Love the hacking vibe of the game. Thanks! Wish you the best of luck!
Nice puzzle game, the concept is interesting and well executed, I had fun playing it. The music is really cool too and ! Congrats for this entry, especially for a Java solomade game in less than 48 hours, i'm impressed !
good gob
I really enjoyed the sounds! Wish there was more than 3 levels though :)
Fun game :)
A few points:
* Levels were well designed! Moar!!
* Graphics were nice! The artwork fits well.
* Someone mentioned a lack of tutorial, but honestly I didn't feel it needed one, within a few seconds I knew what I was doing.
All in all, nice work :) Great work for the time constraints.
I see I am not the only one including a LD46 level  Well done! Even if there was only a few levels, it was a fun experience! :v:
Not sure what the processor looking tile is for, but I liked the music and sounds a lot! Super satisfying to pick up all of the apples on the LD46 screen.
For some reason really reminded me of an old puzzle game called sokoban...
The graphics and sound were clean and well done. As mentioned above only a few levels but the ones there were well laid out.
Really cool to see someone using libgdx.
I really love the idea of the game good concept...
