Real cool art and animations. I enjoyed the music!
Nice game! Great job getting all of that done in such a short time!
Great music  Level design was great too!
Solid platformer! I liked the art and animation a lot.
Cool art and aesthetic. Platforming controls feel pretty good. Music and mood fit really well
Nice job. the pace of the game is good and the music too. i miss a double jump, and more levels. my score was 304 or something
Very cool art and music. I especially liked the swirling snake's (lamprey's?) animation. Controls were smooth and intuitive, and it was a fine platformer. It was a little frustrating when the levels started repeating, and it seemed difficult to reach all places on each level, but maybe I wasn't great at exploring. Nice work.
Really like the idle animations for the leech!
Not awful. I got a bit bored as soon as I realised that the level were being randomly selected, but until that point, it was solid. Not a super original idea, but well-executed.
Did enjoy playing it for 3 levels but it felt too easy.. Not enough challenge but maybe it's just me :)
Nice idea, fits in the theme. Really miss something like double jump. The downside is that level are repeated and thier difficulty doesn't grow. Overall well done!
Very awesome game! I was really engaged as I played it. The animations were really nice, and the music helped establish an intense mood. Great work!
Great game ! The premise is fun and well supported by nice art. The player character is definitely an experience gone wrong, and playing it is pretty fun. I also liked the attention and the care towards the jumping mechanics (ability to jump for a few frames after leaving the platform, ...)
Strenghts : - Excellent platforming mechanics - You are the abomination, and it's a load of fun - Very entertaining level design
Possible improvements - I found the gauge system to be a bit unclear
All in all, great job !
Cool animations brother
This is awesome! I specifically love the art a lot! Could use a double jump since some jumps are too long
What a spooky eely guy. :)
I want to be honest, I started playing and immediately went into Zen-Mode. I love the idle animation of the leech, the slushing sounds it makes, but I have no clue why I'm bleeding so hard while taking a stroll down the labs. maybe it's a bit tooo free of consequences, but other than that I'm just vibin' to the nice Soundtrack!
I appreciate a good pun, unleeched was a pretty fun little game. I liked that the blood I was haemorrhaging everywhere served as a trail marker for where I'd already been for the bigger levels. Tight platforming but maybe missing one or two elements to really make the gameplay pop. For a second I thought the guys were throwing margaritas at me until I realised it's a potion or something. Cool tunes, nice crisp visuals, cool but disturbing idle anim for the leech. Well executed :)
I heard you made the music. It's great! It fits the mood perfectly. The animation, level design and gameplay also help. Maybe release a full soundtrack? I want to hear more from you
Great Game. The music was really good and the game was fun. I think the map textures could be higher rez and there could be a backround story and minimap but other than that really good
@ldd Thanks for the feedback! I checked out your game as well and left some feedback. Your artwork is amazing.
Thanks everyone for the kind words, we really appreciate it!
Wow nice :) Really neat game. A lot of content for 48 hours, that's for sure. The controls felt good, and I feel the audio matched the aesthetic of the game too.
The first thing I want to say is, the music is extremely loud and the 8-bit style is often difficult to take even at a low volume. Other than that, the graphic quality of the game is actually quite nice. A lot of work goes into making good pixel, so it's evident that the artist for this game has some real experience. The game plays like any typical platforming, nothing that innovative or fancy. I might have missed a few features, but overall, it's a standard platform game with average controls and nice looking pixel art. Good luck in the game jam!
Score 384! I love the visuals, especially the leech's animations and that it bleeds more the lower the health. Music was great, both tracks (or was it one track that nicely blended?). I found a "trick" of sorts, that you can fall off a ledge and jump mid air. Used that to get around a bit quicker.
nice platformer. the level design is good. i was able to find the doors but having to collect keys as a leech doesn't make a lot of sense The IA is good at the time, but it would be cooler if instead of having to collect the blood from a flask, i'd have to take it from the enemies
nice detail to upload it on browser, most of the games i've played didnt have html5 support :c
Great jump and idle animations, great level design, great interpretation of the theme, fun gameplay. Honestly the best game I've played so far. The only draw back was the lack of a real walk/run animation but that's understandable for a game jam. Amazing work.
Nice game, its fun and the platforming its solid. I would have prefered if the enemy bullets collided with the world and they didn't shoot from the other side of the level. Also I was confused when the levels started to repeat. Great job.
I don't read other peoples comments so i am gonna speak what i think. Its a great game but the audio totally ruins it. And playing with no audio also ruins the mood. my ratins are still high tho. Just keep in mind that when dealing with audio, its better to level down than up. never put the raw stuff.. my ears say thank you hahaha great game guys, keep it up
@d1str4kt0r Thanks for feedback! What specific about the audio did you not like?
