I enjoyed the low poly graphics quite a bit! I've been making 2D games lately but I think I'll give this style a try!

I'm not really a video-game-card-game playing guy, but I was surprised at how fun this is! Nice job!
I love the creative enemy designs! I could definitely imagine the world this game takes place in!
Nice job! Although the gameplay is kind of simple it still is good fun and the great sound and art make up for it! Overall very polished and pretty enjoyeable!
p.s. It looks like some funky compression happened to your enemy sprites at the last cutscene, I've had a similar problem before and it could help to export your sprites at 10x resolution or so to get rid of this (I'm not entirely sure though)
Definetely funnest game so far. Also drone operator is the new master chief in my book
Wow, I was amazed by the art icons you made for each of the people you could resurrect! Well done and definitely an interesting concept for sure!
Great jump and idle animations, great level design, great interpretation of the theme, fun gameplay. Honestly the best game I've played so far. The only draw back was the lack of a real walk/run animation but that's understandable for a game jam. Amazing work.
I like the concept behind it! It almost reminds me of that one game "Gutwhale" that was on the Itch.io front page for a while (I'm not sure if it still is)
I love how you guys left everything to the animation. The atmosphere you guys created was phenomenal.
I really loved the intensity of keeping the flame alive, and I think you did a really good job of fitting the theme!
Yeah really polished graphics! Our team's first Jam entry was as polished as this!
Although I'm not sure if shooting 90 degrees was intentional, It really did add some interest an difficulty to the game! Nice job!
@a-312 Thank you for making that controller guide and for the thoughtful review! Sorry about the click button being arranged poorly -- when exporting the unity project as a WebGL it was altered and we didn't have enough time to fix it. . . Also in order to use the rail gun you need to hold down the E button for a second or so and then it fires -- we should have added this in the control s section. Also adding in gamepad support was one ambitious thing we planned on adding, but didn't get around to finishing or removing entirely, hence the half done controls. As for working as a team, all three of us are good friends in real life, so we where pretty comfortable with each other, although we had never made a game together before. I created art and music for the game, while @austin4705 and @sherif-abdou did the coding. Having to programmers helped us add in all these features, and it was a pretty fun experience although I was exhausted afterwards. Once again thanks for your kind words and that amazing control sheet! It really means a lot.
This game got a chuckle out of me since I recently got a case of staph infection earlier this year. The only feedback I have is that I like the menu music more than the actually game music but thats just personal preference. Well done overall!
Neat little game! I like how the coral reef grows and increases the difficulty as you do better!
Amazing. Great story, fun gameplay, interesting game mechanics, great interpretation of the theme. I just found me new favorite game of the game jam.
I love the difficulty progression! Just as I was getting bored having to press multiple buttons to get rid of enemies really added some flavor! Well done!
