Really funny! Loved the idea. I saw you voted for my game, and I just thought I would return the favor :)

Really funny! Loved the idea. I saw you voted for my game, and I just thought I would return the favor :)
Love the idea! Great take on the theme! Good luck!
Great job, really fun to play!
this is how you save the world!
Impressive! Really enjoyed it!
LOVE IT!!!! Very well balanced! Only issue was with the vertical movement, as others have described... Loved the art style, and the lateral movement! Good Luck!
SERIOUSLY underrated game! Seriously, amazing job. I'm planning on deleting the Ludum Dare folder after voting is over to clear space on my computer, but I might just keep this one around!
@gettingrekt Surprisingly no exaggeration. It was very confusing at first, but it's actually been my favorite so far!
Wonderful! Just beautiful! This game is sooooo much fun! Probably my favorite game I've seen so far! Great job! 5 stars all around
had a lot of issues, my view and controls flipped, not sure what happened. Hard to understand what was happening
@ocekat3 Yeah.... when i designed the main room there were supposed to be a kitchen and a bedroom, serving a similar function to the bathroom, but with slightly different mechanics. Only issue is i ran out of time, and wasn't able to change the main room back. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the rate!
@limered Played your game and loved it...great job! Thanks for the feedback... There was a discription of the mechanics at the start of the game, right after the main menu, but it's easy to look over... That meter isn't your personal space, it's your anxiety. it was supposed to show that you were getting anxious that people are judging you for being in the bathroom for so long... Interesting thing is I actually talked to somebody with social anxiety to come up with a lot of the mechanics for this game! Thanks for the votes!!!
@john-palmer Thanks for the review, I'll check your's out!
@troligtvis Awesome! I might be able to port it to mac today.... I'll reply to you again if I do..... I,ll check out your game for sure!
@troligtvis Hey, I finished the mac port! Hope you enjoy!
@troligtvis Well, the attempt was made XD Sorry about that!
@sai-games Awesome! Can i have the time stamp? Thats awesome though
EDIT: REMOVED
@troligtvis Yeah thats an old gif.... I'll make another, one moment XD
Edit: There we go: https://media.giphy.com/media/xFoNbh70zkQPAWjtQl/giphy.gif
@saoi-games Hey, just looked through your stream, looks liek you played a different game with the same name! I would go tell them too XD
@saoi-games Thank you so much! You really had nothing to make up for, and you didn't have to play my game, but thank you so much! I'm now following your stream now, by the way XD Cheers!
@lekkel124 Your the first person to notice! I like it XD Well..... there is a sprite for a dog on my computer.....but i didnt have time to finish the mechanics sadly :( the text is left over from my optimism :P
Really enjoyed it! Great job, and I loved the twist on the theme!
I like that spin on the theme! Good luck!
Great job! More feeding slot's might've been nice, as sometimes it just wasn't possible to continue, but I understand the bottle neck purpose XD
Really enjoyed it! Great job!
Great job with simplistic visual style, I love games like this!
Really loved it! Great job! I had quite a few close calls that made the game very interesting!
Great job!!! Loved the humor!
Very enjoyable to play, good job!
so so fun! keep going with it and sell on steam!
Pretty fun! Congratulations on the submission!
Great music!
Super fun! and with some extrra polish and some graphics for the ships, this could be a super fun physics movment game! I really loved the movment!
Super fun! With some polish it could be amazing!
spooooky
Being in quaratine and all I don't really have anyone to play with sadly. Looks really cool though! You tought me all I know about Unity, and I used your menu tutorials for this game jam! My game turned out pretty alright, i think I'm happy with it.
Anyways thank you for putting out your videos, they help so many people. Cheers man :)
Really Fun!
sO MUCH FUN
Loved it! It'd be so fun to see expanded!
Pretty fun!
Super fun! Really cool vibe and emotional
Pretty fun! I played it longer than expected!
Great game, loved the varied game play due to the choices
Thats way to much fun! I finished it! Some more polish and this could be a pretty cool game!
Great idea
Very fun!
Super cool idea, and fun to play with for a while. Could be a really great mobile game!
Interesting spin on the theme!
Great job with Conway's game of life!
Great concept, but it was hard to figure out who the VIP was. Maybe thats part of it though
@bastian-bresson @flashdenmark I ended up figuring it out and it got way more fun from there. You should keep going with it. Maybe even allowing the slowing of time to block a bullet or something. Some better graphics and a VR version would be sick ( a bit idealistic, but sick)
oh! i was in fact not expecting that. Huh...
So fun! you should totally keep going and continue the polish
@dxk2294 Thank you! I will definetly look into that as I would agree, it feels too long for sure. I'll see if I can fix that (I'm not allowed to fix that during the voting period right? Or would that fit under bug fixes?)
@alpharock6 I appreciate that you noticed that! Just a little bit of extra work that I feel like added at least a little bit more fun to the game :)
@trifectuh Is the difference in velocity due to being in or out of water? Originally this gap was much larger, with the fish barley flopping on land. It was increased to give more mobility, but maybe they are too close now that it feels finicky. Thank you for the feedback!
@doodlebrisk Thank you! A lot of the difficulty in the game is by design, as the whole game is supposed to seem simple, but be deceivingly difficult.
The toilet is made so that if you land in it, you can only move to the left, although I'm considering changing that, as several people have voiced a dislike of that.
@shaubbyplayz Wow thank you! That means a lot
@alphazeba thank you! It's strange, some people are having issues with the fishbowl and others aren't. I removed the collides on that first fishbowl due to the bug, but some people are still experiencing it. I'll look into it more tomorrow.
@alphazeba Interesting, that should be fixed. Would you mind testing it real quick?
@alphazeba Thank you for the test! That is still an issue, but that narrows it down a lot :)
@bajtix Thank you! The music was quite last minute so its a bit short. Future updates will hopefully have a longer version @curtamyth Thank you so much! I've been thinking about adding checkpoints at the bonds, and making them a little bit rarer. Not sure yet. Thank you for the feedback! @nehvis Your comment almost made me change the game name on ludum dare, but I realized I'd have to change it in game too, which probably wouldn't be allowed. Maybe after the jam though :) @dfva Thank you! Would you be able to expand on what you mean with the balance? What parts felt that way? I plan on continuing development after the jam is over, so I'd love to try and fix it @finn-tr Thank you!
@flamus thank you! @cancerous currently working on a bug fix for just that :)
@milestone-games Thank you so much!
@microchasm Thank you! I'll work on that issue after the jam, as I plan to keep up development
@jonhthehutt How much time did you spend out of interest? Im so happy you enjoyed it! I tried to add the dotted line during the jam but ran out of time. I’ll be doing a rework of a lot of sections of the game, such as the height of the ceilings and the difficult gaps like you mentioned. I’ll be redoing the movement a bit, and I may also be adding a mode which allows the ponds to be checkpoints. Could be interesting!
I will 100% be making this available on mobile, and I hope you keep up with development to see that happen!
@echo-team That's a good idea! I made the mechanic with a mobile port in mind, in which i think a pull back would work better, but maybe I need to add an option.
@pabulum Thank you!
@ctrble The fish does indeed need to be stopped. We are looking into a solution to this, as many players dislike the delay this presents.
@prof-suarez Was it the first house with a staircase? I'll fix that as soon as possible!
Holy shit 3 hours! Im so glad you liked it, that makes me feel like the sleep deprivation was worth it. What do you think about a mobile port?
@bloham Thank you! I know what you mean about the buggyness, and I'm working on it, its being a bit weird :) Any ideas on how i can integrate the physics materials more? I'll totally release a ton of announcements when the app is ready, and im glad your game is going well too!
@rkhadder You'd never guess what I'm working on right now ;)
@sorko I'm working with the logic a bit to see if theres a way to make that work without making it feel choppy or buggy. I had changed it for awhile but got negative feedback regarding it. I'll figure something out though. Thank you for the feedback!
@angusdick survival golf!
@prof-suarez We'll see ;)
If you follow on itch.io, I'll release an announcement there when the mobile version comes out.
@lapisraider Thank you! The issue of a slow-to-stop fish is evident from many comments, and I'm working on a fix :)
@llewellyn-and-michael That's the plan! Thank you! @bloham Wonderful ideas, and a great way to develop the level design further, thank you! @mathieu-semin Thank you for the feedback! I'm currently working with polishing every aspect of the game up, and have a prototype app made. The issue of the windows not being obvious is also being worked on. @ryannielson Those are all wonderful ideas. As I continue with the game, I will certainly add more. And I've been considering zooming out. The unclear jump is intentionally (Leap of Faith you might say) but we are messing around with how zooming should be. We're going to be playtesting several zoom types
@zubspace Thank you!
@savvu That's awesome! I am currently developing a mobile version, that's correct. Follow on itch.io for an announcement of release! Skins are certainly planned, but differences in game play between them may not exist, due to *other plans* (i think it was spelled multi....something :wink: ) Thank you for checking it out!
@smiley Thank you! I'm working on a couple things with the game right now, including a mobile build and a better parallax effect. @lorwon Skins are in the works! The bounciness is an weird problem, because if I make it too bouncy, there will be a longer delay before you can move again, but I do agree that a bouncier fish would be fun. I'll mess with it more and see what happens. Thank you for the feedback!
@savvu Yay!! The ominous table has been found! Next up, the upside down house and the floating island :)
@jcourt First of all, that is some serious dedication and I thoroughly appreciate that, so thank you! The ominous tale marks the halfway point of the game. You have 3 or four houses left before The Hotel. And then that's it. I wish you luck, and hope for a screenshot when you make it :)
@johnnysix Thanks for the feedback! We are certainly continuing this post-jam, and are already working on a mobile port. I love the idea of starting the escape off inside. We most likely won't be breaking the level into chunks, as we have other plans (I think it was spelled multipl-...something like that :wink: ) So breaking it down would break up the flow. However, if difficulty is the issue, we will be adding a mode in which fish bowls act as respawn points.
Follow us on itch.io for updates when these things get released!
@ldd Congratulations! You won! Thats the end and certainly not the halfway marker! Good job!
@wans24 Thank you for the feedback. We are going tro continue working on the game, and I'll look into making the slingshot feel better
@barret Thank you for the feedback! I'll check out the music stuff. It is supposed to stop for a bit, but I should make it fade.
@blackquiltro Wonderful thank you!
@surfskater2 Thank you so much! The music could certainly use a bit of a longer track. We'll be adding that in the next version (post jam)
@nachodlv Thank you! Would you be able to let us know which objects you thought you would collide with, but didn't? This will help us in the next version, post jam
@lexyvil Thanks for playing! Both of the issues you've had have been fairly common and will be addressed post jam. We will also add a mode with re-spawn points to make it just a little bit less frustrating :)
@abdurrahman-khallouf We are actively working on that!
@coleslaughter Thank you! How did the houses act as death traps? I tried to lessen that by adding water within the house, or were those hard to get into as well?
@coleslaughter The idea behind the game was a rage game, like Getting Over It, or Flappy Bird. We're currently working on trying to make that more clear, as well as balance somethings that are too frustrating, like windows.
@puppetmaster Thank you! "Innovative" is a huge complement! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Did you find our game by chance, or did you check it out after I commented on yours? If it was by chance, then that funny, as I just played your game yesterday! Had a blast!
@puppetmaster Awesome. Great job again!
@ricksquanchez That was the inspiration! The music was a bit last minute, and may get a revamp. Any ideas on a different direction to go?
@rroni I've noticed that too and I'm trying to work it out. I believe it has to do with the way I'm handling force and rotation
@notan-lemon Hey, I noticed you rated the game on itch.io 1 star. If that was on purpose, no problem, I'd love to hear your thoughts. However, based on your comment here, you seemed to enjoy it! Just looking for an explanation one way or the other :)
@notan-lemon I really appreciate you coming back to talk and give suggestions, that helps a ton. As the game was inspired by Getting Over It, the difficulty is a little inherint, but I think the main difference is the source of the difficulty. In Getting Over It, nothing about the game is really *unfair*, all the difficulty comes from your own mistakes. In this case however, some randomness is involved, like the beds. I will absolutely be addressing this issue in the coming updates, and will most likely implement the ability to shoot after a little, like you said. Balancing issues will continue to be worked on as time goes on. Thank you again! Also, if you by any chance know who suggested the game in your feed, I'd love to thank them, too! @naca Thank you! Glad you liked it. Some of the issues with difficulty will be addressed in updates, but some of it is just due to the fact that it is inspired by similarly difficult games. Thank you for playing!
@notan-lemon Honestly I don't like that kind of game either, but I'm having fun making one! I believe you're the first person to beat it, aside from those on the dev team. Congratulations!
@guladam Thank you!
@invixel Thank you! As updates continue, we will be changing up the physics a little to better match the aiming arrow. We may also be replacing it with a trajectory path, but this is uncertain. Thanks for playing, I'm so glad you liked it!
@literal-games Thank you! In the coming updates there will be two modes, Practice and Normal. Practice will have checkpoints, but you wont be on the leader board if you finish. I think this would be a good solution, let me know if you have any others.
The camera work was a pain, but I got it to a place I'm pretty happy with, thank you for noticing!
@fabula-rasa Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! The difficulty was purposeful, as it's a rage game mostly meant to frustrate, similar to Flappy Bird or Getting Over It. Some things, like impossible locations, are not purposeful and are being worked on. We will also be adding a practice mode with checkpoints. Follow us on itch.io for updates on development!
@gameovermexico Thanks!
@studionokoi Thank you! The issue with the pixel scaling of the background is being addressed :)
@gustavo-christino Thank you for the analysis, this helps a ton! I will keep all of this in mind as updates continue. We are certainly releasing on mobile, but most likely won't be breaking it down in levels, as it's meant to be a speed based leader board.
@steven-c Thank you! The next couple of updates will most definitely have a high score!
@joe40001 Thanks again for playing!
Great start
Pretty fun!
100% my favorite game so far! Please keep developing it, this could be an amazing movement/combat mechanic if interspersed with story and ship upgrades
Really fun! The sounds effect were a bit repetative, but thats easy to get over due to the game being really good.
Ha we both made fish games! Fun game, and nice arstyle
Really enjoyed the game! A fun rhythm game that would be great on a platform like mobile. One issue I found was that when learning the long note in the tutorial, the game froze. No matter though, a restart fixed it. Good job!
Really fun gameplay and enjoyable to discover the story
A bit repetitive, but fun!
Super fun! 3rd boss was soooo difficult though
Loved it! The player controls felt very nice and the graphics fit the game well
just like the real thing!
Really fun, had a great deal of fun building up storage and watching it pour out in order. An awesome mechanic to add would be a cost of production. So the customers pay for their food, and to produce an item costs money. This way building up a ton of storage and having the game auto play isn't as possible. Really great job! :)
@milestone-games So you do plan to continue? Thats great! I'll follow you to keep up with the development. Wheres the best place to do so?
Pretty good! It was a bit hard to understand how to get honey. Maybe a placeable collector?
A bit hard to understand, but fun nevertheless
God its perfect
Great job! the character feels a little floaty, maybe turn up the gravity a little bit, and it'd be even better!
Loved it so much! Great job. I would love to more music, and more levels with more people, etc
A little tough, but pretty fun!
This is awesome! Really fun to play, and a cool concept.
Really fun, super difficult once you get to 4 kids
Pretty fun and accurate
I liked the screen shake!
Pretty hard, but i like it :) Good job! it did crash for me though :(
Good job! It was a fun game, but an undo feature might be good
A funny game which is fun for a bit, Not much of a goal though, maybe if you get it to full charge you get a new app or something which acts like an upgrade
