Thanks for the game! It looks like a really good start, but I had a hard time finding anything to do? I walked around a good part of the town and found a few people to talk to -- but never found any monsters to save.
Keep up the effort and hope you do another game jam in the future!
I really like the graphics and dialogue! You should design the map around funneling the player do different locations before letting them roam the open world or atleast populate the map a bit more to improve on it.

Seems like a solid start to an RPG. I definitely felt the Earthbound vibes :)
Great start
Can't play it. When I click on the link, the browser is just black and says (almost invisble since its black text on the almost text BG "Ludum Dare 46"

@bluemirror which browser are you using? I built it in Chrome and did some light Safari testing.
@ripter I did try it in chrome and in edge, both didnt work
Good start. I think you may op out the graphic rating part, these graphic seem come from kenney. Also, sometime don't know what to do. The browser page is weird.

I also had a black screen in chrome but got it to work in a different browser Chrome's error message: ``` Uncaught Error: WebGL unsupported in this browser, use "pixi.js-legacy" for fallback canvas2d support. at Function.create (core.es.js:11679) at autoDetectRenderer (core.es.js:11911) at new Application (app.es.js:46) at eval (pixi.js:11) at Module../src/singletons/pixi.js (bundle.js:965) at __webpack_require__ (bundle.js:20) at eval (index.js:2) at Module../src/index.js (bundle.js:953) at __webpack_require__ (bundle.js:20) at bundle.js:84 ```

I also have a bit of a visual bug where lines between tiles vary from 0-2 pizels: https://imgur.com/a/Zp5eatp
I wandered around and found a photographer who wanted toner - but didn't find any toner or any monster. There is a lot of art and the art is pretty nice - but there isn't much indication of where to go.

Thanks for the statue :) How do you know I look exactly like this ^^. I like the mood of this game. It seem there's nothing to do now but look promising. I couldn't take food in the shop to give to the monster. The map is a bit too big for this kind of prototype. No enough substance to give more feedback. Good continuation!

Good start. After having made a map, to have something complete, could have considered a simpler game such as a treasure hunt.
The hitboxes are off and I got stuck at the trash location. There isn“t a lot to do but I liked to explore it a bit

Loved the dialogs, you've got some great potential going there! Couldnt really figure this game out though. I walked around for a few minutes, then i went back here and saw the hint, walked around for another 2 minutes unitl i found Janet, but at that point i got stuck in a wall. Also had a lot of issues with running the game in my browser as the page kept scrolling up and down as i walked up and down. Sorry for the negative comments, im sure there was a lot to the game i never found.

I have to say I'm not sure what to do here. The guy walks around a bit and then stops. I get some dialoge boxes but that's about it.

Art is really nice, though I found it hard to find what to do in the game possible becase the area was pretty massive. Good start to a good game thought .
