I love thunderstorms, the gray palette and storm noise was awesome.
It took me several minutes to under stand the 'guiding light' and i was less excited to explore once i realized i had to follow it.

Best game I've played thusfar (3 games in) The atmosphere that is set up leaves me wanting a lot more either story, or deeper meaning. I enjoyed being able to unlock new player islands, it's a neat feature, but I'd like some other feature that feels more end goal like. Maybe even just a new player island that takes more than two successful escorts to achieve. I really do like the base mechanics though, the orb of light that guides you is nice, the pacing (too slow for my taste) is really nice for the set up atmosphere. Still just missing something that makes the game fun.
Really good game! It all ties in really well from the visuals (especially the consistent colours) to the sound, the mood and what's actually happening in the game. Fun to play and unique. I enjoyed it!
Sound effects and visuals were great. I enjoyed the gameplay, although I wish the island moved a bit faster, or the dash went farther
Really cool game! I was not expecting this when I clicked on. Well done!
In the beginning it took me more than a few minutes to find an island but once I figured out how to use the lights to attract everything, I enjoyed the game a lot. The graphics and sounds tie in really well together
I love the atmosphere in this game! The gray scale art, lighting, rain, and thunder come together really well. The light showing which direction to go was definitely helpful. The gameplay is pretty slow and easy.
It took me some time to notice that the yellow light is guiding me but one I did I got really excited to explore, overall a fun game, grat work!
@windfall890 I'm glad you liked the storm noise! I thought that it would be a nice touch. The guiding light was something that I was half and half on. On one hand, it's almost impossible to find anything without it, and the world isn't varied enough to make exploration interesting (at least in my opinion). On the other hand, following a glowing orb does feel hand-holdy and repetitive. I'll have to think of a way to solve that.
@horus 3 games isn't THAT much, but I'm glad you liked it! I worked especially hard on the atmosphere, so I'm glad you wanted more. And I agree, the unlock able islands aren't much in terms of progression. I'd be curious as to any ideas you would have for long-term progression.
@emperor-eagle Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and the mood that comes with it.
@nspevacek Now that you mention it, there was a bug in the later stages of development that caused you to move super super far with the dash. It was actually super fun, and I wish I had kept it (or at least some version of it)
@kotka Thank you for playing!
@sanjana Thanks for playing! I'm glad that you enjoyed the graphics and sounds. It looks like the work I put in on them payed off.
@audreyc Glad you like the atmosphere! I wasn't intending to make a hard game, which is why the light is there in the first place. But the slow gameplay is a bit of a problem. I'm thinking that a faster dash would improve things greatly. What do you think?
@mrowka Yeah, I was worried that the yellow light wasn't an obvious enough leader. But I was also worried that putting something like "Follow the yellow light" in the tutorial would ruin the atmosphere of the game. I was hesitant enough to put in a pause button... Anyway, thanks so much for playing!
@flashviper I agree that a faster dash would help, or even just slightly increasing the speed of everything. Making it a bit more of a challenge to dodge the rocks would make it more fun in my opinion.
Cool game. Good visual style and presentation. I wasn't crazy about the sound effects, the random clatter of thunder didn't sound good to me, maybe just needs some mixing/balancing.
Really fun! The sounds effect were a bit repetative, but thats easy to get over due to the game being really good.
Great graphics and feel! It wasn't obvious at first that the light orb was guiding you - I kept trying to use my dash to catch it XD But once I figured it out it made a lot of sense. I thought the mechanics felt good, maybe a little repetitive, but the rain / thunder effects made it enjoyable to just roam around anyway. Nice work!
Great job!! Really nice mood, and a super cohesive game :)
Love the style, and it's got that kind of gameplay where you can just turn off and play it. Definitely mobile game worthy. The audio works really well to bring the style together too. Good job!
I love the rain and thunder sound effects. I played once and was going to give a medium review because I didn't find a single island... that was until I read the other comment about the guiding light. I thought the light was lightning and I had to doge it. Once I started finding islands and taking them to safety I enjoyed the game much more. Good work setting the mood and art style. oh and good job converting your floating island theme idea over to keeping it alive =-)
Wow! Amazing graphics and sound effects. The gray theme really sets the mood and the whole game felt like it was well thought out. Would be even better if it had a challenging element to it.
Nice game, graphics and audio are both good. The ambiant mood is really cool. Maybe you should add more difficulty to make the game more interesting. Good work overall
You Participated in a lot of Ludum Dare's so i think you can take it hahaha Let's go: Very nice game indeed! It feels very good to control the island and his little dodge XD The thunders, clouds, islands, really well done. Everything felt very polished except for the sound >-< You had a pretty good and atmospheric game that were a little perturbed with some sounds. You could notice some noise in some of the sounds, if i remember correctly, the bell and barrier sound effects, and the volume of them were so high, even tough i lowered it! Obviously i didn't lowered enough, but it would be nice to set from the start the Thunder as the highest sound and everything lowered, not everything the same. I wanted to see some big journeys to find the islands too, some close some far, to really test myself and immerse in your silent universe but connecting the islands where always a throw off, that squash effect didn't correspond to the game, even though i see that since, well, it's raining, you added water, but if it was a small sound effect related to air, maybe quick sucking air from low to high tone (u can try with your mouth), i think it would match better, I didn't expect a splash effect in mid air, even if it's raining. The floating also didn't make the meteors weird on a storm because everything is so fantasical that it works pretty well, specially with that barrier, the mood for me is perfect. Bring more houses home at the same time would be nice for the player to feel bad for losing an island that would inevitably happen while in a 3 stack, for example. Congratulations for keeping on making games and on making such a nice and polished game for this Ludum Dare! Little store! options! You didn't hold back XD

But your brother didn't get what he wanted, the link was broken hahahhaha (also, when I came back i lost my coins and i got mad .,.)
Nice Idea I like it Love the colors but it feels like it is missing some thing Maybe Rewarding Player will fill that. But any way i had fun Good Job. Keep it up.
