Really fun to play! Very dynamic and matches the theme literally)
This was a really fun entry! The gameplay being as simplistic as it is, really makes it easy to understand as soon as you boot up the game. The level design was enjoyable and had quite a smooth difficulty curve. The only issue I had with the level was it was a bit hard to understand where to go at some sections (perhaps thats intentional? being a warzone and all). I felt the mortar strikes were a bit unpredictable which made them feel a bit annoying to get killed by.
All-in-all, fantastic entry! One of my favourites so far :D
The graphics are nice and set a nice mood. The bullet particle effects also look good. The game has a WW2 D-Day landing kinda feel. Nice job! Maybe just add checkpoints so you don't have to start from the beginning when you die.
That game was super fun and pretty addicting gameplay, you just kept on wanting to re-start and play again to try and get further. The only critique I have is you almost seemed to move too fast. But I'll definitely come back to this after the jam to play again, it's fun!
Honestly a really good game, the checkpoints were expertly placed which I've not seen too much in this jam. Was very enjoyable, it forced me into a smaller resolution which was a bit annoying but I got used to it. All in all pretty decent submission, congrats!

I really liked the game.. Checkpoints were a very nice idea since you die a lot in this game.. The art style was amazing..I personally think some screen shake would make this game even more fun.. Other than that it's a pretty solid entry to the jam.. Good job!

simple, hard and fun. I really liked the mechanics of the health kits and the mines really surprised me

But then I kinda got it ;) I found a way to bypass a couple of bunkers but then after a while, I realized it was a dead end, that plus I was running out of health kit lol. A quite challenging entry ! :)
