That game was super fun and pretty addicting gameplay, you just kept on wanting to re-start and play again to try and get further. The only critique I have is you almost seemed to move too fast. But I'll definitely come back to this after the jam to play again, it's fun!
There's nothing showing you feedback of if your attacks actually do anything, and for a while I just thought it was on a timer. The world could also use borders and something to point you in the right direction. Your battle scene looks great though, and the enemies also look good
The art's nice, but even when fed the bar would drop as if he wasn't fed. No music or sound would play, was there meant to be any?
I'll just repeat what others said, diagonal shooting, and some sort of hunger regen would put it over the top. But well done! Nice game!
I didn't actually see the bars at the side until I had pressed every key on my keyboard, but nice game <3 Lot's of time management needed
A bit erratic with the white cube's following, but simple and addicting gameplay. I played quite a few rounds and topped at 38!
@escapade 3 buttons, each button opens a different menu (buy stuff, options, games) one is down/left, 2 is up/right, 3 is confirm/action. Keys are done in rows of 3 for people to have options but screen buttons work too
Damn that was some good simple fun! You mentioned maybe a mobile port? If it kept your highscore locally I could defs see me popping it up on the bus! (Although the webgl worked for me on mobile)
@escapade the excellent part about mobile is you can easily update later if it's on a store, but your call. I think it's fun enough to work out on one atleast
