There's nothing showing you feedback of if your attacks actually do anything, and for a while I just thought it was on a timer. The world could also use borders and something to point you in the right direction. Your battle scene looks great though, and the enemies also look good
I'm not sure if i'm missing something here but the battle doesn't seem to work on my side. Nothing is happening when i click the attacks button? Even if a little outdated, the idea to protect the princess fits well to the theme :)
Oh by the way, i think you should add some screenshot to your game's page. I noticed it helps quite a lot receiving feedbacks on the site. Games with no image tend to get unnoticed :(
Hey I played your game but it seems pretty much, uhhh, unfinished. There's no hints on which direction to go in, the player can walk outside of the map, there's no information on how each attack is different, and sometimes "victory" text is not displayed after beating all enemies (and therefore can't go back to the world map).
Maybe it's a good idea to make a small project first and not focus on making more contents or complicated system. You would get a feel of how much time it takes to make a game that way.
Anyway, you did a great job on making a game, and submitting it in time is even greater. Well done!
As people said, the gameplay is lacking. Indeed, it would be better to have just a few things working well. I would also point out that the graphics have inconsistent styles, which greatly affects the overall impression of the game.
Anyway, it's a good start, you just need to focus more on the gameplay.
