I enjoyed how there's a slight puzzle aspect to some of these screens in how you can think about preserving momentum to hit both low and high dots. Although sparse, the sound design was very nice and fit things well. I think this game hit on the kind of feeling you were going for, and it was paced pretty well too (not too long / short).
Really cool game. I love how the levels draw themselves. I wish it happened just a little bit faster though!

My goodness this is pleasant. Especially when you pick up that you can modify your lines mid-run and don't have to set-and-forget the perfect course- Would have appreciated a 'clear all lines' button, though that is just because i spent so much time going for style points with loops and stuff. Love the mood too--- summer breeze...drops of morning dew...that cool S...

One of the few jam games I ever finished and truely enjoed. Fills polished and pleasant to play!
The mood and atmosphere is amazing!
I'm impressed the amount of content you managed to fit into this entry. I couldn't stop until I finished. Love the mood and concept. Not sure how on theme it is but it doesn't matter. I enjoyed playing it.
Simple, but enjoyable. I liked how the levels and the text were drawn in gradually as you watched. Good job!
polished, awesome, what more can we all say.
Neat idea. The levels drawing themselves was a nice touch! Some levels were a bit challenging but others were straightforward so a good balance.
Looks great, very nice sound effects. Solid physics. Levels are fun if simple. It's hard to draw smooth lines but the bumps kinda make it more fun anyway. It's got a nice atmosphere to it.

Where is the poetic criteria!! The mood is amazing, the sfx of the wind when your speed increase is on point, the crystal ting of the star is exactly how a start should sound if a kid could touch them! it's a childish dream. thank you for this compo!
You can cheat by drawing a stack of line under the ball to raise it, no need to ever reset... You have a typo in the description on itch.io : *Cotrols* instead of *Controls*
@dhim Thank you for playing and the feedback! I really appreciate it.
I'm glad you appreciated the sound effects, I was madly clinking things together in the kitchen in the final hour trying to find the right sound.
I've fixed the typo, thanks for catching that! I'm unsure if I should fix the stack of lines thing. I hope people won't cheat, but I don't mind terribly if they have more fun that way.

I loved it! The handrawn text and art was beautiful and the gameplay was calm and relaxing.
Fantastic atmosphere in the presentation. I love the "hand-drawn" animations to intro levels
Great game, fun and had a great mood. The minimalistic SFX were nice too :)
Wonderful and wholesome idea and execution <3 Also loved the very integratedness of it all - text and images appearing and being handdrawn etc!

This game felt very relaxing even if someimes too easy or too hard. I especially had an issue with the first panel where I struggled to aim at the points, then the next few panels were very easy in comparison. Now I realize that the first panel was beatable without drawing anything and I feel stupid. I think I was influenced by the fact the writing is trying to teach me to draw so I was compelled to even if I didn't need it.
Thanks for the game!
Wow i loved this! It's suuuuper beautiful, and i love how everything is drawn in front of you. Great work, and a beautiful story.
This is a lovely chill game, really simple concept to pick up and enjoyable to play! I like the animated drawing a lot :)
A very relaxing game, loved the mood you created through the scenes. And the theme idea is very cool, didn't catch it at first but after I played for some time it got clear, very cool!
@havok06 Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry that the first panel mislead you. That was something I was worried about, so I do really appreciate the feedback.
Nice but my mouse doesn't have a right click... made some puzzles... interesting.
@andrewjadams That does sound like it'd make for a unique challenge. Sorry that didn't work right for you!
I use a Macbook and two finger click works as right click. Do you use a Mac as well, or something else?
I liked the design of this game. I think the vibe you were going for is nice and refreshing for LD. Artsy games have a place in my heart. I think the way you chose to deliver the narrative with the level design was similar to something I did this year actually, (great minds think alike). I felt at times though, that the game was perhaps a little too relaxing, heading towards boring. I thought there were a couple of times when the game opened up and asked me to take a different strategy, erasing lines I needed earlier. I appreciated this a lot, and would have loved to see more of that, and earlier. A bit of tuning and polish would take this game really far. Thanks for sharing, nice work!
Really interesting game which fits with the theme. I had played some games using pen to create bridges or walls, rolling a ball, reaching a goal. Yours is one of the better which I tested. I like the hand drawing pictures. Sounds are great, sharing a good mood. Well done. I had fun playing ++
A real nice calming game with fine sound effects and colles physics, keep it up, great contribution.

A fantastic game! The mood was great on this one. Even though it was clearly designed for somebody with more steady hand than me, I didn't stop playing until I've reached the end. And even then I didn't give up - I know you didn't want anyone to get inside your heart, but I still did it. ;) I was kinda expecting some hidden message if I managed to do that, but the final level just restarted. No shame, the sheer amount of good levels in this game is amazing. I loved that you made the eraser tool big enough, I'd hate if I had to very slowly and precisely erase the lines I've botched. This one was perfect. Well done! ;)

Really loved the way the "obstacles" were drawn to the screen before starting the level! Physics are flawless too.
I really liked this game! The last one I played in this Ludum Dare :). I wish I could have played it with my graphic tablet.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, even the lack of music fit somehow. And I really liked the gameplay! I met a bit of a bug when game would not recognize that I stopped holding left/right mouse button and just kept drawing. I also wished the control was finer as it was impossible to erase only one of the lines when they were close to one another.
Also, you could draw a line through the ball and that would propel the ball forward - a bit cheaty
But overall - a great and unique game! Thank you for it!

@fabula-rasa Thank you for playing! I love the picture you've drawn and how you included the ball as the eye.
I appreciate the bug reports, definitely things I intend to fix if I make a future version of the game.
Thanks again!
I take it back! I can play it with a graphic tablet! That makes this game even more awesome
