I liked the puzzles and having a time limit makes you feel under pressured. Good game.
I played until the end because I was curious of what the "Freedom" award was. The only issue I found was putting the ball into the auto coin collector stopped me from picking it up again. Interesting game!
I escaped! This is a nice twist on the theme.
Fun game. I liked the visuals and sounds. It makes great use of the theme!
Good graphics, fun gameplay, interesting puzzles. Great Game!
I wasn't sure how I was supposed to find the poster, so I never got it, but the visuals were nice.
Good music. Sometimes I found it hard to actually move the furniture around the room at times, but I squashed the spider in the end.
I managed to get 516 points (I don't know if that's a good score or not). I could see this being a fun mobile game. Only bug I noticed was when I was given a task I had done before, it would say I needed a negative number of blocks to complete.
Great art style!
This was a fun game. I enjoyed the visuals and liked the shattering effects of the enemies when they were killed. It's really easy to pick up and play with no explanations on how to play needed.
I think having a boss enemy at the end of the level would have been fun, it could just be a stronger version of the standard enemy.
Good take on the theme. Good game!
Good game with interesting puzzles.
What did make it hard was it seemed I had to connect things in a certain order which I don't know if that was intended or whether it's a bug. If it is intended though it needs to be made clearer because I was confused why some bulbs weren't lighting up. It may of course be that I'm an idiot and wired them up wrong.
Overall a good short game!
Nice game with a great zooming mechanic.
An improvement would be to add different types of enemies and making them a bit harder because it felt very easy strolling past them. If they did take my energy level down there was usually a book nearby for met to fill up again so it wasn't much of a punishment.
It was a good simple game.
Good game. I had fun just playing against myself! I like the way the core affects the gravity of the projectiles. The music and sound effects fit in well to this game.
Next thing to do would be to make some AI opponents to fight against. Very fun indeed.
This was an interesting game with good dialogue. I managed to meet the celebrity in the end but I still failed, was there a specific I had to do with them that I missed?
I would have preferred it if you could skip to a specific day, instead of having to spend it chit-chatting with the lower ducks. The game also seems luck oriented, with outcomes of discussions being randomly decided, not sure if it is but that was the impression I got.
This was a well made game with nice visuals and audio, but I think there could have been more options to progress the game. Good entry though!
Unique idea for a game. I enjoyed it.
Some improvements: - Have better controls. Using the up key to shoot but then using up and shift to boost seems strange. - Have a quicker tutorial, it wasn't fun waiting for the text to slowly fade in. - Make the police ships not be able to fly through planets. - Some nice explosion effects when ships are destroyed.
I did like the way you had to use the planets gravity but I feel it would be better if it naturally changed your trajectory rather than having to press space to make gravity work.
Overall an original game to play.
This game was very fun! I found the controls very nice on a gamepad and it was clear what I had to do from the start. I enjoyed the sound and visuals and I loved the leaderboard feature, although I didn't place high at all.
This game has a lot of replay-ability and is very well made. Good job!
Interesting idea, having to save a banana...
The controls are nice with a mouse. I managed to get 194 score. Is that good? It also appears the game could go on forever unless the banana gets bruised too much, maybe having a certain score/time limit to aim for to win.
Very basic and simple visuals.
Good job for only 10 hours of development time.
A very fun game! I didn't understand how to score at first, but I figured it out eventually. Maybe some simple instructions on the menu would help. This game would be great in multiplayer and could expanded with new maps etc. Great idea!
I had a lot of fun playing this game.
I like that there is a final level I have to reach, although I only managed to get to level 52. I thought the controls were a bit hard but I got used to them in the end.
I didn't like the way the particles bounced in the air, and since it's a top down view, it makes it hard to tell if they are grounded. As my atom grew, I noticed the rays were passing over the other atoms. Since all the other atoms I came across were smaller I had no way of dealing damage to them but they could hit me. I think keeping everything grounded and having the rays fire from the same height would greatly improve this game.
Apart from that it was very fun. Well done!
This was a fun game was I understood what to do. I felt the controls and camera were fine. I only managed to obtain 44% of the food, but only because of my incompetence (I spent most of my eggs on workers rather than warriors so I got overwhelmed).
Having a compass or landmarks would help, because at the moment just saying the enemies are coming from the east isn't helpful when I don't know which way is east.
Good job on the visuals, I also liked the way the hamburger shrunk as the beetles attacked it.
Good job!
A nice little game. Fun graphics and audio and it is a good take on the theme. The game is easy to understand and play, but is very basic and doesn't offer much replay-ability. I think maybe a countdown timer rather than a count up timer would make the game feel more fun, so instead of seeing how fast you can find the germs you have to find them within a certain amount of time. Overall a fun little game.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I agree the ship is too under powered at the start but I didn't have a lot of time for balancing unfortunately.
@huvaakoodia I have updated the git repository to include all the assets now if you still want to modify it.
I really enjoyed this game, especially the final boss battle! I managed to defeat it in the end, but it was rather challenging and I like battles where you have to learn when to attack and when to dodge etc.
I did try to use my Xbox controller to see if it made it any easier, but dash is the back button which was very awkward so I went back to using keyboard.
This was a very fun game overall.
SPOILER WARNING: I am never trusting Pluto again!
That was a fun game. I manged to get 4 achievements and finished the game. The puzzles were fun and some were challenging.
The visuals and music were good too.
Overall great game!
I had a lot of fun playing this one. I couldn't get past the first wave using the laser or the machine gun, but when I used the canon I managed to get to wave 21 without losing any health and then I made it to rank 35 before I quit because it was too easy to just spin and hold down the spacebar.
The canons were too powerful I think to offer much challenge, or harder enemies should spawn in at later levels. With more levels and more upgrade variety this would be a great game. Good job!
I enjoyed the game. It was short but the few levels in it were fun.
I think the graphics could be changed slightly to make them clearer.
This would make a great game if more levels and obstacles were to be added. Good job!
I really enjoyed playing this game! It was hard to manage everything at once but that's what made it fun.
The only issue I have is that I had periods of time where I was waiting ages for a certain resource to land before I could build anything else so I couldn't really do anything at these times.
Overall it is a great game with decent graphics and audio. Good job!
Fun game. I liked unlocking the different modules as I progressed. The animations and visuals fit together well.
I did noticed what I think is a bug where I jumped on to the platform with all those cubes and then I appeared under the map, hovering. I couldn't do anything so I quit and restarted the game.
Apart from that it was very fun. The various modules were great and if you expanded it with more levels, it could become a very good game.
Very simple and short game. For visuals I think having a more space like skybox would have made more sense to me, even if it was just black. Also some colour on the character and rocket would have been nice. Good job on making the rigidbodies be affected by the planets gravity.
Fun game! I managed to get $6290, but many citizens were lost in the process. At first a felt the game was too easy, I felt the ships were coming in too slowly. And then the speed increased and my world became a disaster zone! The visuals and audio were basic but did the job, I also liked the hovering sign with the name of the world. This game could definitely be developed into something more complex with more ship types, temporary power ups such as being able to slow down time, or maybe be able to purchase permanent upgrades with the money earned. Good job!
Unfortunately I can't run this game on my laptop without a very low frame rate and severe input lag, even clicking buttons on the menu was hard because of the lag. So because of this I won't rate the game play, but the graphics look very nice. I was also surprised to see a Blender game on here.
As others have been saying, the music is great! The game play was simple and relaxing, but in my opinion I think the side scrolling parts could have been left out and instead focus on the part with the worlds. Having to build all the trees in a world may have made more sense to me, at the moment there doesn't seem to be any point in doing so besides the score at the end (which I got 23/30, not sure if that's good or not).
Overall this game's audio is great, and the visuals are nice too but the game play itself wasn't very engaging.
A fun puzzle game. I made it to the puzzle where the three balls had to end up into the holes on the left hand side, I couldn't line up the shots properly.
Something that could be improved upon though is when the player is around the same size as the shrink/expand box it is hard to actually sit in the right spot to get the command to pop up, but apart from that it was a great game.
Also, I wasn't expecting so many levels and all the different mechanics for a Ludum Dare game. Good job!
This game fits the theme well, but it doesn't rate very high for me on the fun factor, since I'm not into these kind of games in general, but it does fit the mood you're going for with this game.
I didn't know where things were at first, but quickly found everything so I don't think the addition of a map is necessary, unless you expand this game to make a larger prison. The ability to talk the other people would have been a nice addition, and being able to interact with more things in general would maybe make this game more enjoyable.
When I needed to eat, I made my way to the kitchen but then it transported me to my prison cell, I guess it was because it was night and time for locking up. Once I rested I was walking to the kitchen when I died of starvation. An option to run would have helped out.
Controls were nicely done.
Good entry!
The game took me a while to understand even with the tutorials, which I think could have been presented a bit better with less on the screen at once and waiting for the player to perform specific tasks before showing the next part of the tutorial.
It was an interesting game which could have been more fun if the play area wasn't so big. It took me too long to find specific elements and it took too long to produce others, I got 10 minutes in and had only produced earth, air and sand. If it was quicker to get new elements it may have made it more fun.
I do like the concept however and with a few tweaks it could be very fun. Good job.
I like the look of this game, shame important game play elements weren't implemented in time, it could have been rather fun. I also liked the map editor feature.
Interesting idea which could make for a great game if it's expanded upon and made less luck based.
Because this game is heavily focused on randomness, I felt that staying intact by the end of it wasn't very satisfying as it's mostly to do with luck rather than skill. All I had to do was spend 6 minutes fixing the most damaged component and hope that luck was on my side.
If you added more strategy into the game it could be very fun. Good entry though!
When I first played this game I couldn't get past the first level because I thought I had to return to the ship to take off. I then actually read the instructions on this page and had a lot of fun getting through all the levels. I managed to obtain 85 resources.
I noticed I kept getting caught on the edges of rocks etc, which was rather frustrating, but other than that the game play was great! I also liked the visuals and sounds too. Good job!
Nice little game. It was fairly easy, but I think if you added some sort of upgrade system where you could purchase spells then it would make it more enjoyable. The spells refreshed too fast so they could be spammed with not much penalty. Graphics could be improved, especially the lightning and enemies.
Apart from a few balancing issues the game was fun, well done!
Fun game which was quite challenging. Having different objectives like collect all pages, destroy all portals etc made the game more interesting.
I liked the visuals, but the enemies could have had an attack animation to indicate if one was about to deal damage to me. I think the speed of the characters run could have been faster as it didn't seem to increase the players speed much.
Good job!
I like the idea of this game. The way the flashlight works is really well done. It would have been nice to have more to explore and maybe a vertical element to the game like platforms to jump on.
I enjoyed the music and the art, and the concept of the game was good, I just think more variety instead of having to stay around the same charger would have been nice.
Good job!
I played this one solo, but I still had fun! I made it to the end, I like how the difficulty increased the further I progressed. The variety in enemies was nice, although I only came across one purple ring once and I didn't notice a difference in behaviour between it and the gold ring.
The first download link worked fine for me, but the itch.io link doesn't work correctly; it brings me to a 404 page not found error.
I imagine this game would be more fun with a second player. Well Done!
I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do, I just tried going through as many hoops as I could. I didn't know what the meters on either side of the screen were supposed to represent either. They were also very hard to see since they were mostly transparent.
I didn't know the controls but I worked out how to move, and pressing space gave me a small boost, but I'm not sure if there were any more controls.
I enjoyed gliding however, but sometimes it seemed the game would pull me towards the ground even though I thought I had a good speed.
I liked the look of the game, but I think a "how to play" screen would have helped.
This game was rather fun for a while. The issue with it was there didn't seem to be a penalty for not achieving the goal quickly. I felt like I wasn't being challenged because as long as I put enough turbines/solar panels down, eventually I'd move onto the next level. Some sort of limit would have made the game more engaging. Some music or sound effects would have benefited this game also.
With a little work, this game could be very fun. Good job!
Interesting idea for a game. I played solo but I imagine it's more fun on co-op. The puzzles are interesting and I liked the music too.
The characters seemed to get stuck occasionally even though they had line of sight of a power source. I sometimes would have to push them with the other character to get them unstuck.
I couldn't get past the second level when the drawbridge lowered. I couldn't see a way to get onto it as the characters don't jump high enough and the bridge doesn't come down all the way. I probably missed something obvious though.
It is a fun game, and I like how you've made it work for solo players as well. Good job!
Interesting game, I was a little confused at first but got the hang of things quickly. The voice overs were good, although the robot filter made it a little hard to understand.
The mining could have done with a button as well, because I went to a planet, accidentally clicked cancel and then to bring the pop up again, I had to move away and then come back in closer. Having a button to mine when you're within proximity would help.
Overall a good game that fits the theme well. Good job!
This was a fun game, and I enjoyed the theme of it. The music and graphics were good, and I liked the various names given to the goblins.
I noticed sometimes the character would get stuck attacking with his sword, even though I had stopped pressing the button. Apart from that I didn't notice any major bugs.
The game play was a bit repetitive, maybe more varied enemy types would have made it more enjoyable.
Overall, it's a good entry!
I like this game a lot. The platforming mechanics are great, and I like the way you select levels from the map. The power cells are nice too. I wish there was a way to see how much more plutonium there was left to collect. After I got the mid-air jump upgrade I wasn't show how many more I had to collect. The lack of a restart function is annoying, but the rest of the game is great.
I liked the visuals, audio and the back to the future theme. Good job!
Brilliant game! I really enjoyed the puzzles. Some were quite clever and challenging. I managed to reach Harvey's heart and had a lot of fun along the way.
The only level I didn't like so much was the one with the jump boost thing, because if I missed the platform it was a long walk back. All the other levels I enjoyed a lot.
Good job!
Fun game! I thought the whole idea of the game was rather funny, and I liked the audio and graphics. I found it very hard to keep the airship running on time without killing everyone on board!
The instructions were good, but the font was quite hard to read.
This was a funny and enjoyable game. Well done!
I liked the pixel art and the music in this game. The game was very hard, I ran out of energy quickly and so there was nothing I could do to defend myself against the enemies. It took me a while to work out how to jump between portals. Interesting game. Good job!
Thanks for the positive feedback so far everyone!
I must have made this game when I had my mouse set on a low sensitivity! I shall be sure to include a sensitivity slider in future first person games I make!
@concalf I didn't have a story in mind when making the game, I only came up with a "lunar invasion" just before submitting. So the blocks can be whatever you want them to be!
@cmlsc In what way is the player missing? Is it in the 2D part of the game or the first person part of the game?
Has anyone else had this problem?
This was a very fun game, with challenging jumping puzzles. I liked the music and graphics. I felt that the variety of levels was good, which kept playing the game fresh. I was expecting more zombies, but only came across four whilst playing, but the other obstacles were just as fun. The tutorial level was well made and very informative.
Well done!
The game is beautifully presented, including the plane models and UI. The game was easy to control with an Xbox gamepad.
The enemy fighters are hard to shoot down, due to their strange, wiggling flying patterns. A crosshairs may have helped. The music fits well. I haven't seen the film, so don't know how it compares. Clearer objectives would have been better, I didn't know whether I just had to shoot the enemy bombers or destroy all the fighters as well. Being able to look around with the camera would have been nice, but I understand that camera controls can take a while to make well.
Overall, a great game.
Interesting idea, having players sacrificing an ability in order to progress to the next level. The ability one chooses to lose really impacts the next level which I like.
Although, losing the accuracy module actually benefited me as the bullets would spread and kill more enemies without me having to much. So maybe that ability should be reversed as having it be accurate is harder than it being inaccurate. Once I had figured out the best order to sacrifice powers, the levels became quite easy, I just had to hold down Z whilst walking forwards.
Overall it was a very good game and an interesting concept. Well done!
A very challenging game, with a great atmosphere and decent graphics. The fact that the levels are procedurally generated kept me playing until I felt I had a decent high score.
I did find that the dangerous objects were hard to make out at first, but once I learnt the various puzzles I knew what to avoid.
Great game!
Brilliant game! I had a lot of fun trying to balance my resources. I thought the tutorial was well done and the user interface was easy to understand. I managed to win on my first try! I must be a natural at this game .
The visuals were great and the writing was funny. This game would be good with more complex levels, but I know that would have been impossible in the short amount of time you had to make it in.
Overall it was a fun game with good visuals, sound and humour. Well done!
Also, I may have broken the credits... sorry.
I like this game. It has interesting gravity mechanics. It is challenging but fun. I really like the lighting effects.
I think some audio would make this game better, even if it's some background ambient noise.
Well Done!
A very good experience. The visuals and music are stunning and the mood of the game is great. It's not necessarily a fun game, but it is still a great game. I liked the different choices one can make along the way, but I didn't really understand the ending. I really liked the stats at the end to show how similar you are to other players. Great Job!
After playing this game for a while now, I still don't know what I'm supposed to do. I think I have to collect the bits of scraps to make resources to build parts of the ship but it's not clear. A tutorial or a simple explanation of how parts of the game worked would have been nice. A menu that shows the amount of each resource I had would also be nice.
I don't understand what each part of the ship does. I managed to build the hanger but had no idea what the numbers meant. Each time I played my ship blew up because it was running low on energy. The game looks like it could be fun, but I can't tell if I don't know how to play. Maybe add a description of how to play on this page would help a lot.
The audio and visuals were nice though.
The concept of this game was intriguing but unfortunately I couldn't get very far into it without getting stuck. Sometimes a door would close behind me when the power went out so I'd be stuck in a room, or the E button wouldn't work sometimes when trying to pick up the crowbar or open a door.
I liked the feeling of the game, being trapped on a ship running low on power and having to manage the energy levels of each component, however I could never get very far into it. Maybe a little more explanation in the game would have helped.
Good job though!
The game is simple and the objective is clear. It fits the theme well. I liked the music as well.
The buildings didn't seem useful though, since they disappeared far too quickly after placing them. I kept finding myself clicking on the buildable icons in the bottom left instead of using the numbers. It would have been nice if they were buttons. The buttons in the menu at the end don't work, which means one has to sit through the loading screen each time one loses.
The idea is good, but the game could use some work to make it more fun.
Good entry though!
Fun game. I managed to last 100 seconds. The game play was decent and I enjoyed the backgrounds, with the TARDIS and Death Star floating past. I also liked how the screen would fade to black and the music would get quieter as the power ran out.
Sometimes there would be periods of time where I couldn't see where the batteries spawned because they spawned off screen. I also found the ceiling annoying when it would stop me from jumping onto the highest platforms.
Good game!
A fun game, with plenty of content. The controls felt good and I liked how the characters speed dropped as the power ran out.
However, in some levels I would collect every battery as soon as they fell but the power would drop at a faster rate than what the batteries would fill up so it was impossible to stay alive. Also the music got quite annoying, I ended up muting the game.
Good job!
Once I understood what to do, this game was very fun. I played it on hard mode, and wiped out the humans in 28 turns. I don't normally enjoy these kinds of games but I liked this one.
Good job!
I managed to play this game with my brother, and it was quite enjoyable. The levels were quite easy but I liked the co-op elements.
It seemed quite easy to get stuck on corners though which made the movement feel a bit sluggish. The game also crashed when loading level 7, but our progress saved and we were able to complete the game.
Some of the challenges like blocking the fans with a crate could be bypassed by just moving through the fan stream quickly, which may not have been your intention.
Overall, good game, but more challenging elements to the levels would have been nice. Good job!
A very hard game, I didn't make to the boss battle. At higher speeds it seems impossible to jump over the enemies because it goes too fast. I didn't understand the point of the rewind function either.
The graphics are alright and the music is good.
This a fun game with challenging levels and good art design. I really liked the lighting, animations and sounds.
My only issue is sometimes when I pressed the jump key, the character didn't seem to respond resulting in me falling to my death, but maybe it was just me pressing jump too late.
This is a great entry. Well done!
Fantastic stealth game! I really enjoyed it. It was quite tricky, but I managed to win in the end. The idea of the game is very funny and the voice overs are good too.
I felt the key finding aspect wasn't needed as it was not challenging, and just took away from the fun stealth parts. If there was someone to avoid outside, then this bit would have been fun. The lights sometimes clipped through the walls, so I was unsure whether I had turned off a light or if it was a light in another room shining through the wall. Also, in the "You won" screen, the mouse was still hidden so I couldn't click the play again button.
Overall this was a fun stealth game!
Great game. It was really fun trying to balance the boxes. Having a variety in the size and shapes of the cargo helped make the gameplay more interesting. I liked the different levels, and could definitely see more being added, like extra levels, longer truck, new types of cargo etc. The music was nice and the visuals were simple but fine.
Great entry!
This was a fun game and I enjoyed playing it. I managed to reach "The first challenge" level and gave up because I found it too difficult, but there is nothing wrong with a difficult game. I liked the new items that were introduced as the game progressed, although I didn't know what some of them were. The visuals, music and sound were great, and the game mechanics were easy to understand because of the helpful tutorial at the start.
Great entry!
This game is very fun, I found myself replaying to try and place on the scoreboard. The more health you have, the slower you are mechanic was very interesting and made this a very unique game. I found the balance of health vs speed very hard to get right, but I still tried over and over again because I was having a lot of fun.
With some improved graphics and music, this could be a great game. Good job!
I managed to reach the ocean, but dropped most of my money in the process. I really liked the concept of the game.
I found it rather hard to avoid the cats however, because they seemed to attach to the balloon even if they didn't collide with it. I only managed to reach the ocean once, after that I tried to do it without losing much money, but found that almost impossible.
Overall it was a fun game to begin with, but it got a bit tedious after a few attempts, but I enjoyed it. Good entry.
I found this game fun, but very challenging. I was terrible at managing my resources correctly and found it very overwhelming, but that's why I like the game. I like the points system too, as it gives a reason to choose between highest earning ores, or the ore which is overflowing.
Overall, a fun game. Good entry!
Interesting game. I liked the concept of managing loads of kittens, and it getting more stressful as it progresses. The music was nice and I liked the visuals.
Unfortunately there seems to be a bug where a hungry kitten cannot be picked up. This is rather annoying because if they become hungry, there is nothing I can do and it's game over. The game play was simple which is fine, but it did get tedious over time.
Overall though it is an OK game. Nice entry!
This was a good concept, and I did enjoy trying to sneak past the police.
I had spent ages walking really slowly with about 10 bags of cash, and then the music changed and I realised the police had spotted me and they managed to catch me. That was frustrating but it's part of the game, which is why I enjoy it. It is great when you manage to get back without being caught.
I felt the music got annoying, and I would have liked a way to return to the menu once a game had ended instead of being forced to quit.
Overall a fun game though, that fits the theme well!
This was a fun game. I liked the Christmas theme and I felt the visuals and sounds all fit in very well. The game play was fun and challenging. I found it funny when I'd try to knock a present into the red bucket, but I'd do it slightly too late and so it would bounce and land on the edge of the green bucket. Then, for every green present, I'd have to time it perfectly so I could knock the present in, without hitting the red present in as well. The game matched the theme of the jam well. I could not beat the regular mode though as I am too bad at the game.
Good entry!
A fun game. I loved the way the bus became harder to control as the number of passengers grew. I did manage to reach the end of the level on my first try, so I would have liked to have seen more passengers piling up in there! I was expecting more levels and was disappointed when the game ended because I had a lot of fun. The music was great, the visuals were nice and the game play was fun.
My only issue was that the other cars would bump into me when I was loading passengers, which didn't feel fair to me.
Overall, a fun game with great potential!
The best thing about this game is the art style. I really liked it. The audio is also great and the noises that are made when the character is about to lose balance really helps to give feedback to the player. I also enjoyed the circus music.
The game play was quite repetitive however, with the challenge being very simple and easy. I think the game could have benefited with some variation, like perhaps a sudden gust of wind blows into the tent and makes the player have to compensate to maintain balance or something. I also felt the intro was too long, and I always found myself skipping the dialogue.
The game play was a bit tedious but it had great audio and visual design. Well done!
Wow, this is a very unique game, and I found it enjoyable. The visuals are great as is the audio. The idea of the game is good too, and I found the game play mechanics were rather fun. There was a lot more to this game than I was expecting.
It took my a while to understand what I had to do, and I'm not sure I understand it completely now. A tutorial would be very helpful. I managed to gain 6 players, I don't think it's a good score, but I had fun along the way. After a while, walking between the rooms got a little tedious, but overall this was a great entry!
I enjoy the bullet mechanics in this game, and the idea that the more loot you have, the harder the enemies are to defeat. The visuals were great too, especially the ship at the beginning.
The game play itself was a bit easy however, since one could just spam the bullets and defeat all three enemies easily. I went back to the ship to see what I could buy with the loot, but I didn't understand what the "duration" bar was. I also noticed that the player can repeatedly go back and forth between room 1 and room 2 and rack up a lot of loot, without having to venture deeper into the cave. I don't think this was intentional, but if it was, I'm not keen on it. More varied enemy types and levels would make this game more fun, but obviously you wouldn't have time to do that over one weekend.
Overall this is a good game with interesting mechanics, but I am struggling to see what the point of going back to the ship with the loot is. Good entry!
When I played at first, I thought the game would get repetitive, as I'd be just completing the same objective in the same room over and over again. But the upgrade system made the game fun. I managed to buy the supercomputer, and had fun along the way. I experienced a bit of performance issues once I had maxed out the money making machine. I didn't feel the workers were helping me much as I didn't see much of a boost in income when I had them. Overall a fun game. Good entry!
I don't normally enjoy wave based games, but I found this one very fun! I liked the option to choose between two items at the end of each wave. Most of the time they would offer a stat increase but with a penalty like inverted movement (which I am terrible at, so I tried to avoid those items). The visuals were good and I really liked the music and sounds.
There were a few things that bothered me: The inverse screen effect didn't seem to do anything. The list details of each item were hard to read sometimes as some of the statistics overflowed to the next line. I'd much prefer the game putting me back to the main menu when I died rather than quitting the game entirely, as I wanted to play again quickly!
Overall though I really enjoyed this game, the controls felt great and the game ran smoothly. Good entry!
This is a decent game, with easy to understand mechanics. I liked the art style especially on the aliens.
It was hard to tell which objects the player could stand on, as I thought they were just part of the background. I also think an indication as to when the player or aliens took damage would have helped with knowing whether I was doing something right. The first few seconds of the game were manageable, but when it got up to around 1700 on the timer, it got much harder. I like this and it fits the theme well, but I think the aliens were too big, and it was just luck if you managed to make it that far and not have a massive alien spawn on to you directly. I did finish it once, by spamming the left mouse button and hoping for the best.
Good entry!
The look of the game was great, I enjoyed the music too. The game was fun to play. The water filling mechanic was great and the different puzzles were interesting.
I wasn't very good at some of the puzzles, but I don't think that's the games fault, it's just my lack of skill. Having to start the whole game again when out of lives was a bit annoying as I wanted to see new levels but the only way to do that was to repeat levels I already did.
The game is good overall though. Good entry!
I started the game on expert difficulty, which was a mistake. I found the game very challenging, even on the easier modes. I feel the precision required to hit a note is too high, but maybe I'm just terrible at playing it. I liked the idea of having to keep an eye on the rhythm of the music but also watching the fans as well. I enjoyed the visuals too.
I finished the song on the easiest mode, but the fans just seemed to keep coming onto the stage. There seemed to be no end to it.
Overall, a fun game but very hard. Good entry.
I enjoyed the game and would have liked more levels because it would have been fun. The level art was good, the character art was good, but putting them together didn't seem right in my opinion. I liked the concept of the keys having a negative effect on the player.
I would have preferred some UI to show which keys I had picked up and what effect they had on me, as I forgot the effects by the time I reached level 2. I found it hard to tell whether the spikes on the ground were raised or lowered, because they have a similar colour to the floor. I eventually managed to work it out, but making them stand out would be a good improvement.
I found the game fun overall, and it fit the theme well. Good game!
Fun game, managed to win on my first try. The game seems rather simple, just move around the enclosure, clicking repair when you see a crack on the glass, and upgrade when there are a lot of snakes in one area. Seemed easy to maintain and was lacking in variety, but I like the idea.
Having different types of snakes that do more damage, or have different types of upgrades would make the game more challenging and require a bit more strategy to win it.
Overall it's a decent entry!
Blimey, that was difficult! An interesting concept. Good job.
That was fun. I got to the end of the game with quite a lot of life left. I like the way new enemies appear as the game goes on, keeps it exciting. The art is good too.
This game was a lot of fun. I appreciate the tutorial, it was quick but very helpful. It felt very overwhelming at times, but for this kind of game that's a good thing! The upgrades were nice but I wasn't sure how to get coins, I assume it is random. I like the inclusion of the different modes. Also great you included a colourblind mode.
Good job!
I like the concept of the game and it was good fun! Would have loved to see more levels.
I noticed holding down the space button spawns more workers, is this a bug or a debug feature left in?
I didn't really understand what I had to do at first.
I like the artwork and sounds. The story is quite funny too!
It was fun trying to balance the resources between different beams and working out the best placement for the beams. The game felt well balanced, although I couldn't make it to the end. Having a different level layout each time I restarted helped keep the game a little more varied.
I think the time it takes to fully charge is a little too long especially when there is not much variation as the level progresses but I had fun overall.
Neat idea. The levels drawing themselves was a nice touch! Some levels were a bit challenging but others were straightforward so a good balance.
Nice game. Since the collision boxes didn't match the art exactly it was a bit hard to judge how close the spikes could be to the blob. I liked the concept though!
The game looks great and has a good atmosphere about it! The animations worked well.
Unfortunately the game play got tedious quickly. It would also have been nice to have some sort of progress marker whilst playing.
Nice work!
Took me a few moments to realise that I could move up and down . The animations and artwork were great. Once the creature had grown about 3 times though I didn't really have to do anything because he had grown big enough to feed on creatures wandering by. It was still fun to watch him devour everything though! Good job.
A fun game. Graphics and sounds were effective. Had a suitable level of difficulty. Would have been nice to have had more levels, but what was there was great!
Good idea for a game. The puzzles were fun and challenging. Great job!
You did a good job of giving the feeling of being alone in the woods. Great visuals and sounds.
The game was very hard to play due to the high mouse sensitivity. I liked the 3D models though and the tune was catchy.
Great visuals and music. A very fun and challenging game. I made it to the last level but couldn't quite beat it.
The level with the one cow and moon that rises to block all light made me chuckle.
A great game overall that fits the theme well!
A good game that fits the theme well. Having a tutorial was very helpful. Movement felt good. Sometimes I wasn't sure where I was supposed to go but overall I liked the level. At times the fps dropped heavily but I was playing on the web version so that may be why.
Great entry!
Fun game. I kept replaying it to try and beat my high score.
Swatting a big group of bugs was very satisfying.
I couldn't quite manage to save all the objects. The camera made it harder. It's a very fun concept and a unique idea. Congrats!
Took me a while to understand what I had to do. Maybe add a description to the game page? Once I had worked out what to do I had some fun and I liked the concept but unfortunately it's very repetitive.
A funny, simple game. Looks good too.
I like a puzzle game and this one was fun. Although I didn't fully understand how the fire worked, if I did I probably would have enjoyed it more. The animations of the level appearing and disapearing was a nice touch and the visuals were great.
Good job.
