Any game with physics objects to bump into makes me happy :) This was fun, although I don't think I was very good at collecting the orange balls before I got the power ups. I liked the clicker game influence of getting upgrades that let you get more currency for more upgrades! Also I enjoyed the music!

Really enjoyed the game ! I expected a poor gameplay based only on harvesting coins till I see the upgrdades :D Nicely done ! Come check and rate our game <3 : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/lamattractive

Ha ha ha, really fun to play. Surprised a bit at first because it was looking more like orange than money but I enjoyed it.
I like the item idea, it forces user to replay just to test them ^^

I'm a sucker for these upgrade games. I thought it was a lot of fun!
I felt like the mechanics of the game didn't really support the game's story. At least not on an intuitive level. The game felt like one of those machines where they put you in and blow money everywhere and you leave elated. That along with the dancy music made me a little confused about the dark tone of the messages between levels.
That being said, this was one of the most fun games I've played so far!
Also was that firewatch at the end?

Thanks for comments, guys!
@seanw unfortunately you're right :D I had to drop another idea about cat shop (it was a bite I couldn't chew) and it totally messed up my plans. That's why gameplay doesn't quite fit the story.
I already promised myself that next time i will not rush things too much.
And yes, last picture is inspired by Firewatch :)
I like playing this a lot. My laptop got very warm from all those orange thing but it was worth it!
I personally felt that the game became less and less fun as I played it. Basically I felt just like Bob. I don't know if you intended this, but if you did: Great Game Design

Moving the character felt a bit too much like controlling a boat. And first i didnt understand that the yellow balls are Dollars. A big $ sign on it could help to understand it. As well i wasnt able to read what is written on the table in the middle. I liked the music and the rest of the graphics though. And that everything was movable in the office. And the Upgrading system is also really nice.

Really awesome game! Played it for a while and got me hooked. Game looks really god art-wise and the gameplay is really good to. One thing i would add is a physics update time scaler so that when there are too much coins the fps doesn't drop to much.
Also i loved the ending! Great job!
1 You are right. Every one are vulnerable to picking coins. Really an addictive game.
2 You used the physics engine correctly. Such a mess office enhanced the mood very well
3 At first I thought the plot disjointed from the gameplay, for the game went happier and happier but the plot was telling something sad. That sounds preaching. Then I realized I did be enslaved by the game, for I would get angry whenever I made a mistake and failed to collect money. Until that I calmed out and noticed the game's color was going. That was good
4 The reversal in the ending was really surprising. Then I would like to say, such a the-plot-ruins-all-your-effort setting in game designing is really danger to use, because it will frustrate the players a lot. However, you used it on a correct point. The emotion it induced is neither angry or frustrated, but a more complex one. Good job!

When I played at first, I thought the game would get repetitive, as I'd be just completing the same objective in the same room over and over again. But the upgrade system made the game fun. I managed to buy the supercomputer, and had fun along the way. I experienced a bit of performance issues once I had maxed out the money making machine. I didn't feel the workers were helping me much as I didn't see much of a boost in income when I had them. Overall a fun game. Good entry!

Great little incremental game. It can be quite difficult to keep these games engaging until completion but this was just about the right length. My only real criticism is that the workers didn't seem to be doing anything terribly useful, I think that they were perhaps moving too quickly for their magnetism to pick up many coins?

Mind blown. Best game I've played so far.
Very nice game, congrats! Everything has been said in previous comments: at the first stage, disappointment, until the upgrades appear and the story evolves...then, after few games, a feeling of routine, getting worse and worse, just like Bob. By stopping counting the weeks, you made me think that no end was scripted. And finally, BAM, a final cutscene. IMO, one of the greatest game design I've tried in this LD ! Like others, I didn't really get the choice of the music. And also, you made my computer suffer!
The controls are a bit hard to get used to, but once you do this is a really fun game with a great look and a great sense of humour.
Oh and I especially like the end screen, very beautiful. I am quite envious of Bob.

The story is really interesting, and the gameplay was fun. For me the game was too long, and I would have liked the game to get harder and harder over time, so the gameplay had fit the story better. But overall a well made LD game. Well done.
