Nice Game, responsive control scheme which is always good. Don't know if zombies were really necessary for the game, as it would of been just as solid without them. Good work though!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD39 → BLACKOUT

Its fun to play, but you should somehow point the player where he needs to go (zoom out camera a little maybe)
That was an excellent game. The graphics are great, and the music/sfx fits the game. Just one question, were these levels composed of random smaller parts? Cause it definitely felt like that. (Not saying that's bad, just something I noticed.)
The best game i played so far at this Ludum Dare. I love it.
I liked it! The graphics were great and it's a very solid game, good job!
This was a very fun game, with challenging jumping puzzles. I liked the music and graphics. I felt that the variety of levels was good, which kept playing the game fresh. I was expecting more zombies, but only came across four whilst playing, but the other obstacles were just as fun. The tutorial level was well made and very informative.
Well done!
Pros: -Nice graphics, really pleasant to watch -Simple but climatic music -Quite a few different mechanics (loved how destroying some TNT's was actually a bad idea) -Background as some kind of timer (cool!)
Cons: -Repairing power generators took a bit too long, which is slowing down gameplay
Really solid entry, I had fun playing the game. Good job!
Nice game, and good mechanics and graphics. I like how the camera is slowly following the player. I dont understand what ends the game, I dont think i died. The power stations seem just added for the sake of the theme tbh. Nevertheless a fun game :)
I thought the game was very well done. Feels like there's a lot compacted in there even though the game was made in such a short time. Had nice visuals, smooth game play, and nice tunes to listen to. My only feedback is probably mostly personal, where it would be nice to run into more zombies and that I'm also not a fan of the trial and error type of parts since it requires dying first to figure it out. I guess a timer would also be useful since the game just suddenly ends. Real good job though!
Nice little game. It had some nice puzzle work, the graphics looked good and I liked how visually represented the energy. My big problem with the game is that I often was like: "how was I supposed to know I did/didn't have to hit that tnt". It just became a case of trail and error. Maybe you could zoom out, that way there is no guessing. Anyway, I think this game would work great on a mobile device. It could be a fun little time waster. Overall I think you made a good game!
Nice solid game. Everything looks quite polished. I found it interesting the tutorial is quite well made haha. Played for a while but didn't seem to find any zombies.
Fun game! I like the soundtrack and sounds in general and the jumping behavior is well done. To show the energy level in the background as city is also a really cool idea.
Sometimes the game seems to be a little unfair, when I choose the wrong path, because I wasn't able to see the correct one and so had no option to do it right the first time.
Great graphics and sound! The gameplay is pretty good too, although it feels a little unfair at times - you sometimes have to just take a blind guess as to what to do, and get punished if you guess wrong.
This one is so far one of my favorite games of the jam so far. The introduction was very well done, and the tutorial was actually quite well structured as well. My favorite part of the game is how the "health bar" is the city itself. That makes the game feel very close to the theme.
The mechanics were fun and simple enough, so I felt like I was playing a game like Runner or Canabalt, with a very cute aesthetic. The character and zombies looked great, and the puzzle elements were refreshing.
Those puzzle elements, though, felt unfair at times. Some indications like signs that tell you where it's safe to fall off a pit would be appreciated, since otherwise, it felt like a cheap shot. Same with some parts with the dynamite, but other than that, I felt like the dynamite was a stroke of genius.
I really would like to see how a game like this gets updated. With fixed and mroe convenient puzzle mechanics, it could become a very good mobile game.
Well, that's that. While I'm here, if you have the time, [we would like you to take a look at our game](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/joulethief-charge-your-phone). Anyhow, good job once again. I really enjoyed Blackout, and I hope that you get to enjoy the rest of the jam! :whale:
Really fun game with great graphics. I played for 8 generators but haven't seen a single zombie, so maybe you should add more zombies overall. Also, I hate the fact that I can walk into a "trap room" as it makes it impossible to pass some parts without failing first. Also the game needs a timer since the game just ended itself after a while. Very good job overall
Very interesing approach to this theme. Nice!
