Great job! I seriously think this game deserves a LOT more attention than it's been getting. It has a few bugs, but the overall polish and quality that went into this makes up for it quite well. Great job!

@notpresident35 Thanks! I really appreciate it! Not sure how to make the game to make more attention :(
@Gatox Review games! Review as many games from as many people as you can, and those people may review yours! It's the best way to gain popularity! Other than that, there isn't much you can do.
Very smooth gameplay and nice sound design. The game froze on me though when going from one room to another. There is also one location where it's very easy to get stuck in:

Awesome idea! I was a bit confused at first and thought it was a bit hard to figure out exactly what to do, maybe it would be good to add a text tutorial on the game page since you probably did not have time for a tutorial.
I didn't understand exactly what to do... could you explain please ?? :-)
@josscomposer I just added an Instructions section in the Description, hope it's more clear now. Cheers
It took me a little while to figure out what to do but I figured it out. Lovely graphics! I got very nostalgic when I got to dispose the bugs in all the retro titles. The gameplay itself was a bit slow and the transition animation delay between the rooms got a bit annoying after a while. After I got a couple of players (5-6?) the game stopped responding and I had no other option than closing the window.
A solid effort with some creative thinking around the theme. Very well done!

It's a bit confusing at first. So I had to try and error and just put stuffs here and there until I understand the objective of the game. Probably better if you hand hold the players more (like, literally tell them in plain text what to do) in the early parts of the game.
Art is gorgeous. Probably took you lots of time to get it look like the way it did. The details in the retro games and also the levels of the players were nice touches. Other than that, I'm simply echoing Mashas' comment.
@miaw thanks, yes... I spent too much time in the graphics and then coding, that I run out of time to create a decent introduction on how to play the game
Well, that was an awesome game. I think I have never seen such a great idea and implementation in a game jam before. It's amazing how much work went into this, the animations were really cool, the models were nice, the music was great. The sound effects were a little too noisy for me, but I think that's the only bad thing I can say about it.
The other games where you dump the bugs were a really nice feature. Honextly I'm amazed at this entry, my favorite so far. I completely encourage you to keep working on it post jam.
Very nice "meta" game ! The character is a little too slow for me, but I really enjoyed all the little details you placed in the game. Maybe you should have spend less time modelizing the "other" games, which is really great but we don't spend much time in them (only drop the bug, and we don't have time to appreciate the cool-looking "other" game), or find a mechanic that allows us to stay a little more on them. Otherwise, congratulations, that's impressive, original and I really had fun :)
**Pros:** Great graphics. Very unique and fun gameplay idea. Fitting music. Pretty polished for a jam game.
**Cons:** A few sound effects were way too loud. Poor in-game instructions (which you fixed in the description).
This is a fantastic game! Like others say, this is definitely worth pursuing post-jam. Consider adding a short tutorial in the beginning, as it took me forever to figure out how to play before I read the description. Perhaps also try to make transitions between places take less time (or make them seamless), as the majority of the game you are going between rooms and transitioning seems redundant.
Impressive, there is a pretty huge amount of content in here considering the time limit! I like your take on the theme! It did take me a bit of time to get the hang of what I was doing, but I enjoyed seeing all of the different areas you designed!
One area for improvement would be the speed of the game, it takes a long time to get between areas which I feel slows things down a lot, if you could somehow take away the door transitions I think it would be a lot less grindy. But of course there were time limits to the competition! Good entry!
@sebastian-m @azathothep @amastryukov Thanks for the comments! It's really nice to hear you enjoyed the game :D
Nice game you have here. SUPER WELL DONE!
Come check out my game if you like! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/virus-detected
Totoally beyond my imagination, quite interesting. But I suggest to make more clear instructions like how the boss stuff is handled. I got confused at first. Hope to see in polished.
Wow, this is a very unique game, and I found it enjoyable. The visuals are great as is the audio. The idea of the game is good too, and I found the game play mechanics were rather fun. There was a lot more to this game than I was expecting.
It took my a while to understand what I had to do, and I'm not sure I understand it completely now. A tutorial would be very helpful. I managed to gain 6 players, I don't think it's a good score, but I had fun along the way. After a while, walking between the rooms got a little tedious, but overall this was a great entry!
Unfortunately had a very bad performance on my mbp, after getting through doors the sith time, the screen kept black
@wakka2 sorry to hear that... I developed and played the game with a 15'' macbook pro from 2013 and it played nicely there
