This played like a very slow clicker game. I got a bit impatient at the end and forgot to keep an eye on the size meter. BOOM! :P I tried one more time with the same result. Excellent fit for the theme I must say. Well done!
Are you guys wizards? That was FANTASTIC! Best entry I've seen so far. Completed the game on the first try and loved every minute of it. Very intuitive and enjoyable. Maybe it does lack a bit replayability but hey, no biggie. To the top with you! :D
Some of the better level designs I've tried this LD so far! I agree with most of what the others have said. Was expecting mario-style controls. I also got my head stuck a couple of times while standing up near a roof when crouch jumping.
I did not finish the game after getting stuck but I liked it so far. Good job on a fine entry!
I found this to be quite mesmerizing. I spent some time trying to work out what every policy did but I also got the random crashes before I was able to figure everything out or win/lose the game. However I did get the game to resemble the chrome logo! A nice change of pace. Well done!
A wonderful little game! Smooth and functional graphics and easy to understand.
With 2 minutes left on the clock my little planet was fully upgraded and I had nothing left to do but hope for the best. Luckily I managed to survive. I would love to have some kind of upgrade options for the different weapons.

Man! This is as hard as it is good looking! My laptop keyboard sometimes didn't let me move, spin and shoot at the same time = insta dead. My highest score was from just spinning while moving backwards. Very challenging but also addictive in a Flappy Bird kind of way. Gnngh!! GG
Such lovely characters! The graphics made this game. Was expecting a bit more gameplay to match the pretty look. I was unable to fight the ninjas so I just dashed through everything until the end. Some sort of audiovisual feedback when fighting would make it easier to tell if you're doing it right. Sound in general would have raised this game to the next level but in the short amount of time you did really good! :D
You need to be fast to win the game. If you take too long the bad hombres (I'm not saying all of them are bad but some certainly are) gravitate to the left side of the screen and keep huffing and puffing on them bros faster than you can win them over. Great visuals, music and gameplay! The music reminded me a bit of "All is full of love" by BjΓΆrk in the beginning.
A bit short though. A few levels with increasing difficulty would have been nice. One of the best compo games I've played so far! Well done! :)

The excellent color scheme and simple but effective graphics makes this game. The gameplay is very similar to the original missile command but gets difficult very fast. The cannons reload too slow imho. I like how the one closest to the target fires the missile and the second closest fires if the closest one is reloading. It really messes with the timing when firing!

Pretty pixels and good gameplay I like the sort of action lemmings mechanic. The sounds are a bit on the annoying side. A solid entry!
Those speccy colors man! :D Super retro gfx, moody music and levels. The controls were just fine. Reminded me of Ghost'n'Goblins. The hitbox felt a bit off at times but not game breaking.
The (spoiler alert!) pink squid boss had no visible attack? I beat him anyway. :>

Tested the 0.1 jam version. What a beauty! Best in class graphics and spot on the theme. Gameplay was a bit lacking as I wiped out the humans almost immediately. Then I had nothing else to do than to watch the planet go about it's business. Good job team!
I had to click around a bit until I got the units to do something along the lines of what I wanted but when I did it became quite fun! The UI could have been a bit more developed but a solid, playable and fun compo entry. Good job! :>
Very good retro graphics and animations with fitting sounds! The surprising quiz gameplay is too easy as others have stated before me. An interesting entry!

I got to about 50 points before I lost control and my score dropped all the way down to -1 before I just gave up. Is there any win condition? Looked good and I kind of enjoyed seeing the boxes stack up at the end of the belt. Good job!
This game made my head itch! The first time I didn't read the instructions and failed hard. After reading them I eradicated everything right away. A very interesting take on the theme and a solid compo entry. Congrats on the actual gameplay! :D
I did not see the how this fit the theme but I had some fun anyway! I even did the hard mode levels until one of them broke? I used some serious rocket science and motor skills to get one blue cat in the blue tub and one yellow in the yellow tub but it didn't let me progress to the next level. Did I not meet the win condition here? Anyways, nicely done!

Not gonna lie, I enjoyed this! Maybe a little easy as I won on my third try. Was hoping to progress to another level. With randomized levels this could last a really long time. Good job!

At first I thought this game made flappy bird seem easy but then I figured out how the collision worked and made it to the end! ...where I can't find the anywhere I need to click to play again. o_O

It took me a little while to figure out what to do but I figured it out. Lovely graphics! I got very nostalgic when I got to dispose the bugs in all the retro titles. The gameplay itself was a bit slow and the transition animation delay between the rooms got a bit annoying after a while. After I got a couple of players (5-6?) the game stopped responding and I had no other option than closing the window.
A solid effort with some creative thinking around the theme. Very well done!

I felt that this could very well have been made by me and my friend! Similar art, sound and gameplay. I'll leave it up to you to decide if that is praise or not. ;) Personally I liked it!
The flood just appearing caught me off guard the first time. I was expecting a similar effect as the shrinking bubble in PUBG or Fortnite BR. The next game I had some trouble figuring out what was supposed to be an elevated position but I learned that the hard way as well. :D
After that I just hung around the elevated place with my trusty bow. Excellent sound and feel to it btw! Smol sneks stood no chance. Then during the flood some invisible thing started eating at me until I died. Not sure what that was all about. Personal best at around 4 minutes.

This was quite the unique experience! The excellent use of different graphic styles made me think of Evoland. Great mood and humor!
Possible spoilers ahead for anyone who haven't played it yet (stop reading this comment and go download!)
I went the wrong way immediately, off to explore with my fancy fishing rod! Sadly, I did not find the lake until after planet pieces started flying into space. After that I kind of knew what to do and where to go but I was unable to make up for the time I lost in the beginning. My final moments were spent together with my first and best friend Pit on his porch, overlooking the apocalypse from front row.
I would have liked to be able to run around in birds eye view but maybe that would have made it too easy? During my play I did not have any of the problems with the controls that some people have reported. I used the windows executable with no apparent issues.

I almost made it to the end! Almost. I would have made it if I could have chopped up the now empty wagon to make a fire and cooked one of the horses. :D
This game made me think of the old Oregon Trail, which I have never played but I imagine it was something like this. You have died from dysentery.
The art is the strongest point in this game. It felt like a mix between 8-bit with the large pixels and few colors on the backdrop and horses and 16-bit style with smaller pixels and more colors in the UI. Both are good though! :)
It bothered me just a little bit that the wheels and sky were spinning discs with rotating pixels instead of animated with straight pixels. ;)

Ah, a good old type-or-die game! The difficulty ramps up pretty fast. You better not get stuck on a word. Never made it past 60 seconds. At first I was confused when some of the letters were missing on the other papers but then I figured out that I already typed the first ones on the previous paper.
A rather successful strategy is just banging on the keyboard. Maybe there should have been some sort of penalty for typing the wrong letter? And keep checking for letters just in the current word? No matter. It's very enjoyable as it is!
What kind of document am I printing btw? Those words would make an interesting article. ;)

The Freezetration! :D What a solid compo entry and a great fit for the theme. A bit like a single player "Mount your friends".
In the beginning I tried to carefully place the climbers but my pyramids still collapsed after a while so in the later levels I just ran to the top and hit freeze. Not sure which one was more efficient. I managed to finish the final level sacrificing about 150 climbers in total. \o/ I would have liked a win screen showing the total score to increase replayability.

About the gameplay, I read the tip about holding down the button before going in. Big help! I first thought the goal was to puncture the hearts using as few balls as possible. Nope! A moment of confusion but after that smooth sailing. Maybe some of the harder levels are in the middle? Or maybe that was just me getting better towards the end... ^_^

Well done fellow tower defenders! It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to do the things but when I did I used mostly Twins for great success. The sounds were very fitting and not at all annoying which is rather hard to do in a game like this with all the pew pew going on. A solid entry!

A cute game with lovely graphics! I found that the best strategy for winning was to keep rolling them steady 1s and never spending anything in the shops, letting the other players shop themselves to death. At least that is what worked best for me and my bad dice RNG. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :game_die:
On my wishlist is more varying music and a way to fast forward the other players turns. Great work!
Took me a minute to figure out what to do but then I got to it. Put in some hard work for that sweet sweet victory and I only got to see the finished castle for a couple of seconds! Lovely graphics in this one. Well done!
This was different! It felt like if Twin Peaks was made as a book for children. A brutal book though. :D Made it to the end and stayed for a bit to listen to the music which really elevated this game. Good job!
So, I finally managed to survive for more than 3 seconds and found the first portal. :D When I exited I only had 2 minions with me but they did nothing when I wanted them to attack? This was super hard but it has pretty graphics and a moody atmosphere. Good game and well done!
The ticking of the clock and the different sound effects really enchanced the mood. After the end screen it continued but without any memories. Did I miss something? Anyway an interesting idea and a nice entry!

WELL, FIDDLESTICKS. That was a cup of laughs! Lovely retro atmosphere, easy to understand gameplay. Greed got me the first time around but I did get to see two different endings. I also noticed you have to be careful when skipping dialogue so you don't mess up. Just like in real life. A game well done!

Very cute but at the same time scary graphics! I had some trouble getting the game to fit on my 13" macbook screen but I managed and scored a win in my first race. It was all downhill from there. :sweat_smile: The Tinysonic TV was a nice touch. Good job team!

Pretty lights! I downloaded the windows binary but it didn't fit on my 1920x1080 screen. Could start the game anyway. When playing I kept getting stuck on doors and corners. Not sure if that was because of the screen issue or if I was bad at the game. Got some partying done anyways. Good job!
Super pretty and moody! You really nailed the theme with this one. I didn't get very far though as the game was too hard for me to control. Like playing piano and drums while walking, scared. I think the horror part would be a good game by itself. Good job!
Before playing I thought, please please let there be awesome synthwave music. After playing, you know, chiptunes are awesome too! Great mood with excellent 80's colors and tron-like art.
The enemies just kept on respawning on top of me so I found it easier just pushing the ball around the course after making the first swing. The shot power was a bit hard to control and the ball went over the wall a couple of time though it also made me score a hole in on on the first course by accident. ;)

What a funny little story! I actually had some real audible laughs during my playthrough. The game didn't have much of any actual gameplay but that didn't matter much as I was too invested in the plot! This looks, feels and sounds just like the old ScummVM games. Amazing! I think I took the dating part too seriously, jotting down all the details and connected people with arrows to be sure I didn't mismatch anyone. :D Fantastic job on this one!
This game has top notch music and textures, especially for a compo entry! The glowing ball felt like a safe place and you didn't want to wander too far off into the darkness. I was sort of expecting the zombies to also attack the ball and maybe kick it in the general direction of the players goal. At first I was a bit confused that the "kick off" was not at centre pitch but at my own goal. (Does the stamina reset to 0 when you pick up a max stamina upgrade?)
I managed to break a lot of zombie legs and even score in the end coming in from the upper corner, just barely escaping the HUGE defender/goalie. That one was a lot scarier so I went all in on the winning kick. Luck or skill? Both? :D
All in all a really solid compo entry! From a fellow horror sport maker, a job well done!
Mosh, under pressure! It felt a like the Mii's on the Wii were in a parappa the rapper goes metal game. Good stuff! I noticed the score kept going up after delivering a beer but stopped increasing after picking up a full glass? As someone who used to mosh in the pits I would love to see a mini game or bonus round where you get to go complete ape instead of going around. ;) Lovely graphics and metal! Well done!
This combo of genres was actually on the table for our game as well but we changed to golf instead to avoid the AI-issue. Good fit for the theme! I managed to win the match but out of the 5 goals only one was actually scored by me. The others were own goals by red team. I was really nervous when my own team had possession of the ball. Had me laughing! :D It was also very interesting to get to play the game we didn't do. Thank you and good job!
I completed my mission on the second try. (GJ me pressing the camera button while standing next to a camera.) This reminded me a bit of an old favorite of mine, Paradroid! <3 Sneakybot has very nice controls and animation! SPOILER ALERT: I felt a sudden rush after hacking the final terminal when the music changed, thinking I had to get out FAST but didn't see any countdown timer and figured I could take my time and not make any more silly mistakes. I guess I was right? Winner winner!
Did not encounter any bugs. I am however unsure of which two genres this is supposed to combine? Anyhoo, good job and congrats on a solid entry!
Zombie sports are the best! I especially like the art and artstyle! This game gets hard really fast though. Is it even possible to score after quarter 2? I also find scoring 3 points are easier than 2. Good job on this solid jam entry!

Hey there fellow golf gamer! You made a really hard game that really nailed the theme of LD41. I never got past the two windmills. There just is no escape when you cannot outrun the bullets. Would love to hear if anyone has made it to the end of the level, if there is an end? Good job!
This is hands down one of the best games I've played in all my ldjams! Nothing but praise from me. If I have to nitpick (minor spoiler) I was kind of expecting some kind of a boss fight after getting all the guns. Thank you for this fine piece of quality entertainment! ^_^

This game has a great feel to it. You are on to something here. The letters bouncing off the walls or attaching to the doors just feels right. I wasn't sure if I hit the pokesaurs or if they were hitting me. Apparently I did something right because I got to level 5 or maybe 6 before my hits got stuck in a door and I died. Was hoping for an endgame and some more commands to type. +1 for coding in vim. ;)
