Nice game! I like your graphics and animations, they are amazing. It will be nice to have some background music, but the other music effects fit perfectly. Saving link for voting time :ballot_box: I saw few similar games so there is something to compare.

This game is great! Loved the graphics and the feel of the game. Wiping out houses was very satisfying. Only issue is there wasn't a clear 'how-to' section, the player is just thrust into the game. Other than that it was a fantastic game

I really like how years are affecting the world shape. Graphics are awesome. It's a wowww entry for a jam. Team is significantly big, so the quality isn't so surprising. I couldn't agree more on the particle systems. It isn't perfect. When I need things like that, first I look on asset store for the assets that have positive comments. Generally, developers are creating easy to use stuff than the Unity has. Anyway, it was 72 hour but you did a work even more beatiful to fit in that time. Good luck with your entry.
The art was fantastic. The gameplay was very overwhelming though, it was hard to figure out what was going on, what the goal really is. I think part of the issue is the lack of input feedback and what the disasters are doing isn't really clear.
Overall a solid entry though. I played 0.0.1

Love the music and graphics. However, it seems a bit fast, almost too fast, so that the game doesn't seem to last very long. Would be nice if there was a mode where you had to last as long as you can.
- Graphics is very Awesome - gameplay is good - That background music is good - with 72 hours to create such quality game is very mush appreciatable

Awesome game! Love the graphics and the music generates a fantasic mood. I have to agree with @wevel the game is a bit short. Other than that nice game.
Nice game, like the idea :D Awesome graphics But i found a game changing bug: you can plant vulcans without delay (you can spam it)

There are 4 versions in the download link and if any of them are post jam versions I would be very explicit about it.
Beautiful graphics. I would slow down the game a lot since at this speed you just end up button mashing for win. Very well made entry.
I Live-Streamed this game this past evening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfvbUFJnui4
I found the best strategy was just to spam everything, I'm not sure that's what you're going for. Some of the environmental disasters could use some tweaking as it's not immediately apparent that some of the are useful.
At first it felt a bit clunky but after I've found cataclysm hotkeys real fun started :)
Nice idea and great execution. The pace overall felt a little too fast(and game finishing really quick) but other than then very solid and polished game, and fun to play what is most important!

The art for this is great, everything looks wonderful. I wasn't sure exactly what each power did to begin with, or what effect it would have. In the first minute or so of the game the population was booming and everything was turning horrible. I then changed window to check for instructions and a meteor crushed the main city, destroying it. After that the planet calmed down. A few earthquakes later and humanity was reduced to a very manageable tiny population.
I'm not sure if the goal was to achieve balance or to eliminate humanity, but it was at least a little entertaining. While your description says "balance the effects of the population" I found that the powers were more about removing the population than balancing the effects. That might be because the powers weren't terribly clear about what they did, though.
Thanks for all the awesome comments. We are aware of the issues with the game's tempo and mechanics. Some changes have already been made towards a better playing experience, and these builds are marked "(Post Jam)" at our download link. Unfortunately there are still issues that need work, but it feels like we need another jam just to get to it, like a post-Ludum-fix-your-blunders-jam. Thanks again, we had a blast taking part.

Lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDPVuoHG3u8

The game is gorgeous! It's probably one of the most beautiful games of ld38. I had a problem with the gameplay, in my opinion, it was a little too complicated, but overall the game is great!

The graphics and concept are great but the gameplay is lacking, it is just that it is too simple and I'm not a fan of recharging abilities. Would be nice if you can actually have some sort of control mechanic for each ability and then more feedback for the destruction but I guess time contraints also played a big role here.
Nice one.
Really fits the theme, interesting not to protect the planet from disasters (like in other "planet turning" games) but protecting from human pests :)

Tested the 0.1 jam version. What a beauty! Best in class graphics and spot on the theme. Gameplay was a bit lacking as I wiped out the humans almost immediately. Then I had nothing else to do than to watch the planet go about it's business. Good job team!
