The overall style and graphics were great!

The game was a neat take on breakout, but it got a little slow when you were down to just a few blocks to break, as it was difficult to aim the ball exactly where I wanted to.

nice game:)

the aiming (aka the accelleration and the stopping) with the platform was a bit wonky. But the design is cool and the idea and the execution of the power ups is really nice. :)

@sabomball @gale-swift thanks. Yeah, would you believe that a game based on lot of physics is difficult to match when using real physics simulation ;) In the end it would have been better writing my own physics but I fear the game wouldn't have been finished then.

You can really see how much effort you guys put into the game, it's so well put together! I especially like the music, graphical effects and the overall feel. The whole level sliding down on rails is so cool! And the LD level is a really nice touch! My only issue would be that the platform movement feels a bit hard to control, I don't know if that's intentional. The amount of upgrades you get seems to be just perfect. Overall, very fun and well made game!

Fantastic music and nice visuals! Once the balls started splitting in the ~4th level or so, the pace really picked up and it got a lot more enjoyable.

Great work!

Lovely visuals and music. Gameplay went from "kinda fun" to "total chaos" when there started to be like six balls at once =) Sound effects make things satisfying. Only gripe is that it's too easy, I made it to level six before I got bored.

Nice and relaxing game. Feels very polished and the mood is absolutely fantastic. I only really have two problems: the paddle can feel a bit floaty at times, and it can be a bit hard to remember what each powerup does. Some different graphics might have been nice.

reminded me off the games I used to play on my "all 999 games on one device" (I dont know if you had thoose but its basically a pirated atari alike device). Great game, liked it a lot

I like the take of making a breakout downwards instead of upwards, but i think this game would benefit from bigger blocks to break and not having the conveyor belt stop everytime, so it wouldn't feel like levels, it would feel like one continuous descent. Still a great execution overall, the game looks and sounds fantastic and i loved playing it, great job!

Great visuals and amazinggg work with the lighting the sound gave off a different type of vibe and the pong game mechanism was engaging Kudos to your work and your effort was amazing

Awesome brick breaker variant! Graphics were super fun with lots of cool lighting. Kept me going all the way till the exit, GREAT work :)

scott-redrup 2021-04-28 06:45

Overall a fun little game. Rather annoyingly I kept getting the ball stick just bouncing from the left wall to right wall. I also had a really hard teaming getting past that fan on level 2 haha! Well don though the visuals and overall juice look great.

Loved the mix of breakout and going deeper! Very well done! My only complaint is the ball is too slow and it took forever to break blocks. I think it would be better if the game was a little faster. Otherwise, great job!

bebadboi 2021-04-28 17:50

love this brick breaker homage. I felt very accomplished when I beat it. It can be a bit of a slog when there's only one ball tho and you hit it at a bad angle. But it's perfect if you can keep multiple balls going.

smiley 2021-04-28 17:55

@scott-redrup @tim-sims yeah we had plans of speeding up the ball after a few bounces without hitting something but we ended up spending a few hours fixing some weird game breaking bugs instead :(. It does however change the angle after a few bounces to prevent it from being stuck at the bottom. Gotta love using a physics engine for a physic driven game and it does a little bit too much physics :)

Great entry! Graphics and sounds are good. Gameplay feels solid, looks very polished for 3 days of work. Nicely wrapped! Congrats :)

superfishboy 2021-04-29 17:40

So complete! Really good work. Maybe a little confussing on what does each power-up in my opinion.

nice game though, cool graphs!

stin 2021-04-30 10:58

Nice game. Really good work. Cool graphics

onedozenbagels 2021-05-08 01:29

Nice graphics and sound. I like the concept of breakout with powerups. A little hard to direct the balls and little slow because of it - especially at the end of levels where there weren't many blocks left to hit.

drskort 2021-05-11 12:27

Really cool game :) I liked the graphics and the many power ups were really cool! It was really fun to have so many different power ups and them interacting with each other ( even though some (B) were much cooler than the other ones). I think the game could have been a little harder but all in all it was pretty cool and a little adictive ^^' The audio was pretty cool, too :) Good Job on this game! Btw i checked out your spotify page and erratic eigenvalues sounds really cool ^^ Hopefully I won't have to calculate them :(
