Overall a really solid game, nice graphics, style, audio etc. However the mechanic although well implemented, seems a little limited, perhaps add some kind of enemy next time? Nice work!

Overall a really solid game, nice graphics, style, audio etc. However the mechanic although well implemented, seems a little limited, perhaps add some kind of enemy next time? Nice work!
The mood is amazing, and although some find it boring, I actually really liked the gameplay, it's my kind of game. I would have preferred there to have been more enemy types though. I didn't really get the story and would of preferred to have skipped it by the third cut scene as the walking takes too long. Good fun though, nice!
Couldn't get it to run for me. Hit enter but nothing happened!
This is a really original game mechanic that is excellently implemented! To take it further I would make the collisions a bit less harsh, especially when enemies can almost spawn on you, it makes dying too easy! Good fun though!
Controls are a little weird, i.e left shift makes me turn on sticky keys! Interesting game though, not quite sure I got it all to be honest, the effect that scares the humans is kind of nice too!
Didn't run for me on Windows?
Overall a really fun game! It's amazing to see how much you got done in 48 hours! Especially seeing as you made all of your own art and sounds too. There were a couple of issues e.g the dev console being shown at start, but generally this is a solid game!
This is my favourite entry so far - really nails the theme in my opinion! I got stuck on level 4 as it's not easy to tell what the cowboys range of sight is due it being hidden by the scenery. The art, music, controls and mechanics all combine really well to make a solid entry! Great job!
I don't really understand what's going on, I'm mashing all of the buttons and nothing happens. The ents look cool though.
Amazing that you managed to make such a polished game in 48 hours! The fighting actually works quite nicely and I could see this being a relaxing game. Good job!
Woah can't be able you managed to make so much in such a short amount of time! It's incredibly atmospheric and I love clicking around just trying to see what stuff does. I eventually figured it out. Really neat game!
A very unique entry which really goes well with the theme. I was a little confused to begin with - I didn't realise that the thing at the top is where the meat will land. I found it difficult to reach the tower heights at the levels progressed because the sausages always seem to knock it over. Great entry! (who doesn't love the wilhelm scream)
It's really impressive the amount you managed to achieve here! It's only after I played that I realised you used a tonne of AI! How did you find using the drawing dataset? - I want to give that a go too!
Hey nice job with this game! It's really original - if not super stressful! It would be helpful if it was easier to distinguish between the peple better - that might make it a little easier. The powerups are cool but I'm too scared to choose one and take my eyes off screen for a split-second. Really really grear job!
By far one of my most favourite entries so far! It's got a really creepy but consistent theme across the graphics, audio and gameplay. Surely it has to win the award to the most polished title screen at the very least?
Very difficult to begin with - I had no idea what was going on... Eventually though it turned out to be a fun little game where I was planting mutliple seeds at once to see how high a score I could get. It would be interesting to see if the plants did different things - certainly a game worth taking forward. Great entry!
Nice little entry! I to found the controls to feel a little sluggish e.g. when turning around. It might also help if there were fewer obstacles or at least if these could be destroyed to make navigation easier. The bullet/year mechanic is a nice idea but it feels a bit out of place in a soldier vs orc enviornment. Great entry, well done.
Nice polished entry for a game made in a short amount of time. It would be good if the collision boxes were adjusted as it's easy to get stuck and blocked by platforms around you. The acorns look ace!
It's pretty cool that you managed to do all of this in the time limit! I agree that it would be nice to have more of an objective but there's definitely something here to expand upon in the future!
I really like the graphics in this - really adds to a spooky experience. The game is sooo hard, I didn't get barely anywhere, also not sure what to do when fighting the orc, presumably just frantically smash the left click?
This is so cool for a game jam game - I don't think I've ever seen someone make one! To be honest I don't really know what I was doing other than mashing all of the arrow keys, that's fun enough though. I wasn't really sure what I was doing with all of the abilities, I seemed to have inifinite money! Really great job, nice one.
Really great entry, the rotation and clicking is smooth. I'm not quite sure if there were actually any terrorists or if there was anything special that the buildings did? I just clicked on all the trees and built a tonne of factories. Either way, lots of promise here!
Amazing that you have created such a polished game in a really short amount of time. The game handles well even though I think I'm really bad at it. Maybe I missed the instructions but I didn't realise you could spawn platforms until I scrolled down a bit. Is the music really loud or is it just my laptop? - thankfully I wasn't wearing headphones!
What a charming little game - it gets my vote for most charming game of ludum dare for sure! Really great job on this - really liked the subtle animations.
All this game needs is a bit of polish and it will be a really fun game. As others have said I'm not too sure if the top two brannches are needed - I didn't find it too difficult but eventually the enemies stopped appearing? The game has a nice look and feel - with the graphics and audio matching each other nicely. Great job.
Good entry - as others have said, the shop felt a little pointless and it would have been nicer to have gained health in other ways. There's a bug where you can hit space bar whilst in the shop and still place a box. Well done for making so many levels in such a short amount of time!
Well done for capturing the look and feel of a proper game boy game. It took me ages to understand the control system, for example 'press start' - I was frantically clicking around to try and get it to work. My favourite part was being able to talk to all the students during the test and them saying random stuff, felt very Pokemon like. I did not survive... :(
This is a really impresive atomspheric game - the audio adds a huge amount i.e. the ticking of the clock and the footsteps. I really like the typing mechanic but I don't feel like there's a rush to type quickly or any consequences for typing incorrectly. Great entry.
I wish there was a potential rating because I think this game has a lot of promise. The style/graphics is the best part and feels very unique. The controls need a little bit of work as they feel a bit slow, but it is cool the way the plane rebalances itself flat. I saw that you added bullets, do they have any affect? The game also ended abruptly for no obvious reason - is there a natural end? Nice effort!
Hey congrats on submitting an entry! Interesting concept for the theme. I was a little confused about you why need to right-click? I would have assumed that just running into the enemies increases your hunger. There's a lot of potential here to add new enemies and improve the artwork (especially the backgrounds e.g. different biomes). Nice work.
Probably the best looking LD entry I've played this jam! It's quite amazing just how much content you were able to create in such a short amount of time. Agreed that it would have been good if there were some sound effects :)
Cool little game, the character animations have a real Runescape feel about them. I didn't totally understand how to play to be honest, but the concept is definitely there.
Very clever entry. I had a bunch of fun playing that and now my brain also hurts a tonne! Took a little while to understand the concept, but once you understand how to play it becomes quite addicting!
Haha what a very interesting game and cool take on the theme! Everything works really nicely and I'm amazed you found a bunch of different ways to take the mechanic of being a ghost!
Really well polished little entry you've made here and obviously the cover art at the top of the page is pretty darn awesome! Amazing what you've managed to make in such a short amount of time. Great job!
Hey, great job on submitting a game! Really unique concept, haven't seen any other entries like it yet. A nice calm and relaxing game to play with a friend (I needed help). Bit buggy when placing some of the vegetables - but a nice fun experience.
Wow this is such a simple but intense and fun entry. It's not massively innovative but it is incredibly addictive! Great job, the music fits super well too.
Hi, congrats on submitting a game! I really love the simplicity of the art style, it works well. As someone else pointed out it is a little difficulty - I also thought it was broken at first because I could jump. Maybe you could add some text next to each ability e.g. 'locked' until you have access to them. It would help if movement speed was increased and if you could also move more easily when jumping. Great job.
Agreed - not working for me either. I've got notifications on so let me know when it's ready :)
Not a bad little game. It's kinda hard to play because it's difficult to see what car parts are coming next. Maybe once you've got the car part it should only generate the stuff your missing.
Hey well done on submitting a entry! Very chilled experience and was able to enjoy with my partner! The music added to the calm mood - interested to see what other kind of games you make.
A very well polished game for something made in just 48 hours! Has a certain mood to it due to the nice art style and music. The jump mechanic seems a bit too powerful - feels as though you can jump up half the level!
Agreed with what Geoff said, this game has a lot of humour! The noises are hilarious, and getting run over caught me totally off-guard. I couldn't really figure out where I was going at all, I think the map might be a little too big. There is a lot of potential though.
Really like the style of this game - makes a simple mechanic really fun and interesting. It would be good to see more levels and perhaps different enemy types / power ups. Have you thought about including an endless mode? Great job on submitting a game!
Really impressive that you were able to make a game that looks this good in just 48hrs! Music fits the mood of the game well and it's got plenty of humour. Game feels nice to play and is well polished!
Hi there. Well done on submitting a game! I think this is a great effort overall with lots of potential. Being able to see what was in your stomach like that was very innovative I thought. Agreed with what has been said already, want to play more and well done on the music!
Hey this is a really clever game! I had absolutely no idea what was going on at the start and I almost gave up but once you get what it's about it gets very interesting. Nice music choice, really adds to the mood. Probably the most innovative entry I've played!
Hey, well done on submitting an entry! :) I don't know if there is something wrong with my laptop, but the game didn't run very well for me. At the start for example I was mashing all of the buttons and the heads didn't seem to respond. Eventually I managed to get 1 leg but I couldn't make it up the steps? The art is nice and there is definitely a mood.
By far my favourite game of the jam so far - really innovative concept with massive potential. I couldn't really get on with how the controls were laid out, maybe if up arrow was the same as spacebar that would help. I think I also struggled with the first level most lol so maybe some more time? Great job.
Certainly a interesting concept for the theme! I found it a little challenging to know what I should be doing. For example the first bubbles asks for paper right? I spent most of the time looking around for newspaper. Then the next one is sleep, but clicking on the bed doesn't seem to work? Really neat little concept.
I am sure there is some really clever mechanics going into this game, unfortunately I just can't quite figure out what those are :( As Birchy says, a description would be super helpful!
I struggled to find new dialogue options after clicking through the three characters, it would be nice to see who you're talking to e.g. with some kind of silhouette around them. Really nice job on the dialogue and art though!
Hey very unqiue and interesting take on the theme. There was A LOT of information to try and take on board but in the end you just kind of figure out how to play it. I managed to win on my first try, maybe I got lucky? Can see a lot of people enjoying this kind of game.
Hey really nice job on this! I really love the cool CRT style of the display, imagine you used some fancy camera filter for that? I'm not quite sure how difficult the game is supposed to be, but I had fun shooting some ghouls and zombies.
Hey what a great achievement to make a virtual ecosystem in just a few days. Agree with Christian I just went crazy and placed everything I could at once. I'd love to see this expanded with more creatures and foliage! Maybe watch it evolve over time. Very neat job.
Hey really nice entry with this one! Calming and simple game play easy to just pick up and play.
Interesting idea for a game, clear that you tried to pack in a lot for such a short amount of time. I wasn't quite sure why I was just continuously dying - I didn't seem to be dehydrated etc. Nice job though!
I mean if this isn't the Ludum Dare winning entry then I don't know what will be! Changing the carriage every time you go back is so clever and so seamless. Really fantastic job on this. Agree with others that the controls could be tightened up a bit and the platforms can behave a bit odd... but really well done.
Really nice polished little prototype. The music and simplistic style was really charming. I'm not sure how much there was to do and I to managed to die a couple of ways. Real potential here.
I can't fault this game at all. It is exactly why I love playing Ludum Dare entries, short, snappy experiences that bring a lot! Well done on this you should be really proud, those moments of being chased are truly terrifying!
Neat idea for a game! Particularly liked the change in sprite when the dodo gets cooked. It would have been nice if the ceiling didn't exist as cause some issues when jumping.
Ha this is a great unique game, very innovative and original and most importantly stressful! I feel like I have almost no chance protecting more than 1! Sometimes it feels as though you can't scare the birds, I also feel that maybe they come in a little tooo quickly. Never the less I had some real fun playing this. Well done!
Nice work on this entry! Amazing that you managed to fit all of those different weapons into the game in just a short amount of time... the machine gun was particularly satisfying! I wasn't quite sure what the objective was but it was quite nice to just run around shooting monsters.
This looks stunning, but I had really no idea what was going on heh... I somehow managed to open the exit door but when I went through it next the game ended. Or maybe it went to the next level? Anyway great job on submitting!
Yeeeea! This is such a neat game, even down to the little scene transition details. For some reason I couldn't fire a weapon or activate my shields - I'm not sure if this is an issue with my trackpad or the game detecting input heh. There's so much potential here!
This is an interesting concept. I think it definitely needs some on screen instructions to better understand what's going on. It could also be helpful to introduce mechanics over time. Of course it would also be good to have an extra 48 hours right heh... great job!
I enjoyed this a lot, what a great little idea - this is what a game jam is all about! Sadly it was a little buggy for me, the first time I flew up into the air (not hooked) and the second time I flipped upside down. Physics are a right pain though so I feel you! Great job.
Hey nice job - a very unique theme. I am really bad at these types of games - I didn't manage to get beyond the basic beat and could only move around the starting platform. Well done though.
Yeeeeea I'm all about these kind of games! This is what a game jam is all about, really great job! The sound the burger makes when it's poked is isanely cute. Excellent stuff!
Hey friend nice job on the game - the art is totally gorgeous. If I'm being honest I really didn't know what I was supposed to be doing. It's cool how the levels were generated, was this done procedurally?
Hey this game is really pretty imo, I really struggled with playing it though! I'm not sure what I was doing wrong but I couldn't see any clear objective. Nice job on making a submission!
Hey well done on this, a really fun relaxing little game. I bet it was really tricky to think of all the puzzle ideas. The controls seem pretty intuitive to me and making objects snap to an angle when you pick them up is a nice touch. I'm not 100% sure how it meets the theme, but it's presumably going deeper into the puzzle? Great job.
I really didn't understand what the point of the rocks were until I read the comments, but turns out that's a really neat idea - good thinking! I really like the hand drawn animation, they look great. I think the game is really hard though, the first few levels could have been a lot easier heh. Great job on the jam though!
This probably has one of the most polished UIs of any game jam game I've ever played! I agree with CodeForJoyCaro I have no idea how to complete many of the game, it took me ages for example to realise that I was lookig for the correct spelling of deeper on the door. I must say though you've done a great job to do all this in 48 hours, really inspirational great job.
@kro and @szymon-ogd haha thanks for playing. Yes I admit the theme is a little tenuous. The moment took place 'deep' into stoppage time i.e. right at the very end. As you go deeper and deeper into stoppage time, you need to score a goal. I could have made that more obvious with a clock to be honest :)
It's an interesting idea for a game, I like the art style a lot and those green cube enemies look somewhat familiar! For some reason I got really bad performance on my laptop.. not sure what's going on there. I agree with the others collecting resources is a little slow and it's not clear how you jump down to the next cave. Well done on finishing.
This is an interesting concept for a game, I've never played a text-based adventure for a Ludum Dare before! These aren't my type of games but I admire the amount of dedication that goes into building things like this so well done! The text revealed itself a little bit slowly which is the only improvement I can think of.
A pretty interesting idea for a game. I had a hard time hitting the enemies and relied on getting lucky most of the time. Did you create all of the assets yourself? Really impressive stuff. I think the game has a lot of potential well done.
The strongest part of this game is its mood, great job on that. I think the levels themselves could be a little more interesting with perhaps some traps and different enemy types. The end of the first level for example is really empty. I couldn't read the text fast enough at the start of the game too. Well done on making something though! :)
Well done this definitely scores high on the humour rating! I had a heard time managing all of the controls, and the game took quite a while to load for me. It would have been nice to have seen more realistic levels, but that being said you've shown some good creativity with the enemies. Well done.
I agree I thought the cursor was a crosshair too and I tried to shoot the obstacles! It's a nice fast paced game. I think there's a huge opportunity to make the obstacles change colour with the tempo of the music. I managed to avoid most obstacles by hiding in a corner, perhaps you could randomise it so each of the corners is hit once ever 20 spawns or something. Well done.
Ooooh it's always quite frustrating when you come across what will eventually be the winning game for Ludum Dare! Honestly well done this game is so much fun and looks great. I don't have any complains other than I'm quite rubbish at it! Great job.
LOL the ending landing on the highly detailed head really got me, great job, the funniest entry I've played so far! The game works great, it would be nice if the drop moved a little bit faster as sometimes it can be impossible to avoid the bugs. The sun ray was a nice innovative mechanic idea that fit the feel of the game, good job.
Really nice job with this one, it scores highly for me for mood! It has a real Thomas was alone feel to it with all of the cool transitions. I agree with others that for some reason my clicks didn't seem to register a lot of the time. The music is fantastic too by the way, really fits the feel of the game. Great job.
Well done on creating this! It's a fun experience that makes you want to keep digging deeper, is the level infinite? It would have been nice to make the wall boundaries a different colour and also it would be cool to buy power ups that make you dig faster. Good job.
Well done on your entry guys. It's an interesting concept for a game. I think the mechanics could have been introduced in a more friendly way. It took me ages to realise I could jump, and a number of tries to get over the first obstacle. Maybe it could have started with a hole you need to jump over and then a wall in front of you that you had to teleport backwards, walk a little and then teleport forwards. Overall though a very neat concept, great job.
I can't believe this is the best game I've played for the jam so far... I made it to lap 60 before my patience ran out haha. As others have said I think you could have made the level look a little different as time went on.. maybe the car could go super slow for a lap or the walls are really bouncy, or the level is pitch black. Well done!
Hey this is a neat little concept for a game. Is the level infinite? Is there a way to die? I think it has huge potential to turn this into a full game. For some reason the music stopped after a few seconds? Well done!
This is a really cool game, although it is quite hard and is it even possible to get to the end? It has a great mood though and is quite relaxing to play. I admit with other commenters that the edges do seem to come out further that the visuals suggest, it would be good to have a few more lives too.
Whaat! This is such an interesting take on the theme. This concept feels so novel. At first I thought it was going to be another take on something like Pez but it's so much more complex than that. Really well done on this I bet it was a total nightmare to think about the design of each level. Hugh potential here i think.
Hello friend, I think you may have left your Itch.io page as privated
This was an interesting an idea for a game, I don't think I've ever played as a chest before! I agree with the others that I think there was too much text at the beginning - nice to see you managed to add two languages though! The graphics looked great. Well done.
I honestly have no idea what is going on in this game, but it looks cool at least 😅
This is the jam winner in my opinion (certainly from what I've played). Everything about it is so well polished that it's hard to believe it was made in just 48 hours! I love everything about the mechanics! It was kinda fun not knowing what certain animals meant early on e.g. had no idea what a wolf did until I came across it. Brilliant work.
A fun game! It took me a little while to figure out how to play but I got the hang of it eventually. Clearly lots of work into it so great job!
This is such a cool idea, I loved learning about cellular automata! Unfortunately I just couldn't get anything to happen even after making a few rules :(
Nice work on getting an entry in! :) I'm sorry but I'm really not sure how to play? Cool that you got multiplayer working too!
Yeeeees! I was really hoping that someone would make a game exactly like this. You did a great job with it too, every level felt incredibly satisfying. Bonus hat tip for actually embedding your game on the Ludum Dare page too!
I'm not sure if there's any jeopardy in the game but I totally loved the feel of this one, the firing mechanic and sound effect is so satisfying. Smushing the little creatures is fun too. Great work on making something so polished.
Yes! This is what game jams are all about, taking a modern twist on a classic. You've made a real polished entry here nice work. It certainly did get too difficult too quickly, but it was a lot of fun!
I can't get the game to work either in the web, give me an @ when it's up and running ;)
A really solid game that was a lot of fun, but man I'm happy I won't have to play it again because it was stressssful, we need more ants helping it out in this colony. My game actually bugged out at 51 seconds remaining. I couldn't interact with anything! Really nice work though.
A nice game with some lovely graphics! I actually found moving the arm to be fine and slick generally. I didn't spot any of the bad bugs for some reason? Is that normal? Anyway great work :)
@mackain that's very interesting thanks for sharing! Do you mind letting me know what browser you're using please and I'll investigate? Seems to be working nicely on Chrome and Edge.
Really nice work here, by far the most novel concept of all the games I've played so far! My laptop took a bit of a hammering when opening a locker (but maybe I'm overdue an upgrade!). It took me a little while to figure out my big old finger was turning the lock dials, maybe some sound effects would have helped. Clearly lots went into this, so huge well done!
This is probably my favourite game of the jam so far and it's just so silly but real fun! That art and animation is quite something 😅 It's a shame you didn't get a chance to add even more mini games because there's so much potential.
Really nice work here, you did a great job! I was tempted just to get the minimum number of little guys to shift the big rock but maybe that would have literally taken a million years! I love the scale of everything, watching them climb the wheat is really satisfying. Agree with others that it took a little while to figure you can move the camera, but only a minor thing.
Gosh let me tell you, this game is so so so pretty! You did a great job here. I don't know why but it took me so long to figure out how to play. I didn't see the buttons at all at first! But I got there in the end. As others have said I'd maybe like to see a little more, but I think it's clear you put a lot of time into visuals and it paid off!
It's fun but it absolutely destroyed my laptop in-terms of lag 😅 not sure what's going on behind the scenes to cause that! You did a good job on creating a believable herding mechanism though.
Really nice work on this, it looks like a lot of effort went into it. The visual effects are awesome and very atmospheric. My laptop did struggle a little bit at times though to keep up with the framerate heh. I'm also not entirely sure what I'm doing but I enjoyed spending 10 minutes or so wandering around :)
It's a really chill game, I couldn't get past 1 gnome though. But I'm sure I'd get there eventually. Looks like a lot of effort went into this, great work.
The amount of effort that went to this really shows, the game is superb! I loved the menus, right down to choosing the difficulties. The game is maybe a little easy, but it's such a great concept for the theme. Nice work!
The game is so cute and looks really well polished, the animations add a lot of life to it. I'm really not sure what the bug towers do, I ended up just spamming corn and that seemed to work nicely. Great job on making a tower defence in such a short time, that's no easy feat!
A really innovative game, great work on this. Admittedly it did take my a while to realise you had to actually hit the enemies with the dice, also I found it quite hard to roll them using a trackpad - and instead just resorted to dropping dice on their head. Really enjoyed this though.
It's a huge achievement to make a whole TD game over a weekend, super job! Although it's pretty basic I still found myself playing for way longer than I needed. No bugs or issues to note, it just works well. Great stuff.
Lol I would never have come up with this in a million years, a really creative well implemented game you should be super pleased with yourself! I'd be interested to see how you could take this further. The switching between bigger/smaller versions works so well!
A really simple fun game! Like @magopian I too couldn't ever get the keys to open the door. I was playing in the browser if that helps you diagnose the issue. Love the art style for this.
Really nice work on this. The game looks polished and is easy to understand. It would be good if controls popped up on screen as you needed them e.g. press f to start machine. Also the red slimes always seemed to want to jump into my net and I'm not sure if you could dump them 😅 Nice work.
Wow great work on creating a whole ant colony simulation this is such a calming game. I didn't bump into any rival ants unfortunately, but had fun eating apple cores, leaves and stuff! Lovely stuff.
Took me a little time to figure out how the mechanics work, but this is brilliant once you get it! The graphics are fantastic too! This is not far off a polished game ready for release in my opinion. There are a few balancing issues but overall a solid entry.
I found moving the camera pretty tricky, it moves even if the mouse isn't in the game window. I wasn't sure what I was doing to be honest, I was just putting towers down and hoping for the best. I do accept that balancing these types of games is super hard though, especially for a jam. The towers look awesome, nice work!
An interesting game nice work, I really like how much effort you put into the graphics and humour of the game. It took me a little while to figure out how to fire your gun, it would be a nice touch if she face where you were aiming. I liked the audio and swearing ha! Great work :)
