LD46 — Keep it alive

Protect Thy Cargo by Luke Parker 2020-04-22T18:53:56Z

Nice game. I like the idea of having only defensive tools. A few things I would have made different: - Reduce the time between enemies. Often I had nothing to do for a long time. - Was there some kind of time how long the barrier can stay? I saw nothing about it ingame and would have loved an indicator pointing: The Barriers energie (or whatever) is nearly empty! (or something like that)

Also I found a bug, where you can push the cargo carrier with your mouse shield and when you rotate the shield away from the ship, it launches you out of the screen with now way back in

Once Upon a Night by Bdiebeak 2020-04-21T00:24:17Z

Good job on making this game! It's really well done! Two things I would have made different: 1. Maybe no instant fail. More like you can make three fails and after that, it's game over. 2. Randomize the order of the elements and maybe even randomize the solution to the element! But overall you made a incredible game!

Keep it afloat! by Maka 2020-04-21T10:24:37Z

Thank you for creating such an awesome game! I really enjoyed it and sailed 97 nautic miles with ~3k Points. Your game idea was incredible and your execution expecialy with music and graphics was perfect!

Lost Signal by DorianSnowball 2020-04-20T23:58:29Z

@timo-strating If I play the build on multiple machines, I can't reproduce these problems. ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Exstare by IC Rainbow 2020-04-21T09:53:40Z

Well done game! Even though I expierenced a bit of lag when spamming rockets, it was fun to play! I feel like a bit of background music and SFX would have added a lot to the game!

Firesoul by Griffin76 2020-04-23T10:14:25Z

I loved your graphics and your music and SFX were top! I found the controls a bit clunky with having to double press mouse while moving. I would have made the movement with WASD and use the mouse only to interact with the things. But otherwise: Very well done game!

For The Band by Asemic 2020-04-21T09:42:24Z

Awesome music and nice game concept. I found it hard to grasp at first what is going on, but after a few tries, I got the hang of it!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deeper n' Dipper by GameDevExtreme 2021-04-27T14:26:37Z

I love the humor of the game, but I really missed some UI elements. Would have loved to see my health or the health of the enemies. I'm really sure that you didn't made the music yourself, so you should have opted-out of the audio category or state that you only made the soundeffects.

Fathom Commander by Adam Martin 2021-04-29T13:16:18Z

Got to a depth of 24,7k but died because my crew got to big and the oxygen production couldn't keep up. But I had real fun playing the game. Looks and feels very good.

Two things I would implement in the game are: 1. Hotkeys for ping and confirm of the dialog 2. player controlled camera zoom. I hated that I couldn't see all of the ship

Other than that it is a great game. Ran into a bug where you instantly get a second big fish after escaping the first fish instantly.

Down the Machine World by Sempiternal 2021-04-28T09:58:11Z

I enjoyed playing the game. Graphics looked really good and the music set the mood quite nicely. One thing I didn't like was that you dash in the direction of your mouse. I would have prefered it, if you dashed in the direction your moving or if standing still in the direction of your mouse

The Bonekest Dungeon by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2021-04-28T21:19:57Z

Loved the visuals of the game. Really enjoyed the art style.

One thing that I would change is the animation after the teleport to the next room. It felt very slow and broke the flow of walking (floating) through the dungeon

@lev Fixed in the latest release ;)

Deep Abyss by Taranis Elsu 2021-04-27T15:22:00Z

I really like the 2.5D graphics / art style. One thing that I would improve if I could is rotating the sub that it faces the direction it's going

Runner Ore by ThatANoNoWord 2021-04-27T15:12:35Z

Really liked the concept and the execution of it. Art was well done and fitting the game. If I could improve one thing in the game, I would add music / sound effects. Overall: Fun little game, but with room for improvements

Mine Shaft by Krzyhau 2021-04-27T15:52:28Z

Wow. I'm impressed. You literally blew me away ;) Great game! I managed to complete shaft 3 after a few tries and after I understood that the mines are only counted in layers. Maybe you could explain this a bit more. Or did I miss something? The best part of the game was the audio when breaking blocks. I really liked this sounds!

Lockerworlds by DorianSnowball 2024-10-08T23:59:35Z

@verbante Music was composed specifically for this jam by a good friend of us (@rvbiihunter on the site here). I see how them being listed as attribution does mislead a bit. Will look into changing the listing to better reflect the state. Additionally nearly all sound effects were made by us, so we decided to participate in the Audio rating.

Dwarf Colony by Skvader_418 2024-10-10T15:37:46Z

Pretty fun to play! UI could need some polish to better switch between buildings. I left the buildings menu open most of the time which restricted the viewable area a lot but that was better than always closing and opening the menu.

Loved the amount of different levels, quite impressive for a game jam!
