Thank god I have two hands to click with
Realism is through the roof here. Make sure you shot some coffee before starting a new run.
PS: GUIs are for suckers. My mechanical keyboard agrees loudly.
I'd play this in VR too.
Hello, fellow space defender! (=
Strong Magica vibes. I would like to play a beefed-up version of this too.
Maybe I've missed it, but there should be a key to "reset" the word or some indication of whenever you can press the next correct button, or you have to delete and retry.
I hope there would be uploadable dictionaries, like common shell commands and arguments (=
With so many things going on I'd like a pause/slowdown button :sweat_drops:
This game is full of surprises.
Keep counting and nobody explodes.
Ah.. good old belt mining times.
Thanks everybody! Sound effects were definitely on the plan, but had to go to make time for final balancing and polish.
Some rocks do appear on the wrong side indeed. But most of them could be shot out with a good behind-the-back trick shot.
> My planet never died
Yeah, there is no gratuitous explosion on game over, but it gets baked properly after a few good hits. **UPD:** Welp. There is an effect scaling problem indeed. Good catch!
PS: Keep an eye on the itch page. I wouldn't let such potential out without converting some into kinetic first
I added some sounds, but IDK if I should publish this version

The platform itself has the ability to change its orbit, but the controls didn't make it in time. A nice elliptic trajectory could be fun to deploy things from indeed. There are quite a few variations in motion and weapon effects could be made. Honestly, I barely can wait until voting round comes to conclusion to bring in all the ideas.
Big thanks for everyone who played (and tried to launch, too!) <3
Outstanding execution! I can't drive without my GPS and always wondered how they did that not that long ago.
Yay, more n-body gravity coasters!
Consider starting the scale thing earlier, way before the lander comes near the screen edge. Otherwise it *appears* to switch to some weird rectangular motion which is confusing.
PS: thanks for not implementing planet collisions
Loved the destructible terrain and one-two punches from gluing bombers teamed with fire spiders.
I'm not a huge bullet hell fan, but this one is nice.
Would look good in "keep it alive" round too.
Wow, stylish. Most badass snake I've played.
I've tried to get a windows+vulkan in time, but alas ):
Thanks for putting effort in VM though. I think you should enable something called "GPU passthrough" in VM settings for graphics stuff to work.
On Ubuntu the usual `stack build` is enough. On windows it requires to fiddle with DLLs, SDKs and whatnot. I'll try to figure it out before the next jam comes (=
Yeahh.... It still has some weird controls bugs where you get... stuck 😅
I'm terrible at it too! :hugging:

One minute is a long, long time...
Wild ride!
I'm glad my determination paid out. What a cÅrşëd place!
Internet version of this would be a blast. Perhaps with simultaneous turns.
> The Draw
Now that's a name I haven't heard for a while...
Those golden towers are just.. golden. Won with only 6 of them hugging the crystal.
This gives serious Pony Island vibes.
Nice one.
Asteroids and planets could use some orbital motion. Maybe the mining beam could unsettle them too, keeping the player on their toes.
I expected there would be a next level after warping away, for a few more bites.
The game looks polished enough, that's a big one for me.
Too much voodoo mixtures without a proper tavern drinking to compoensate and I've been ousted. It was fun while it lasted.
I like gravity games. I like "vector" graphics. I like minimal style. I like this game.
Is there a reverse command somewhere?
Good luck with mobile (:
The extended levels are extra crazy in a good way, but the 14th deserves a "honorary PITA" award on its own.
It feels like playing on Hard from the get go.
Orbit visualization should make this way less confusing. Some indication about a planet "needs" would be nice too.
Alternatively, you can add a legend to description (Some people actually read them! Not everybody, but...).
Took a while to figure it out. Would be glad to play a post-jam version.
Managed to arrive at destination by moving very, very carefully. Not gonna do a speedrun, sorry
Please add some instructions on the page:
- Hit `tab` to bring up menu in case you need to restart. - `Freeze` is not a part, but a temporary "powerup" to lock your ship in place.
Should save some time to figure things out and start actually playing.
Fisheries are the worst on the starter atoll. The "main" island is such a nice place.
You have to fight your instinct to jump right away from the danger. But as they say, orbiting is just systematically failing to hit the ground.
So, not all blue things are good for you and not all those red are bad. Sometimes you'll want to take a risk with a red one, to save yourself from riding a wrong blue.
I'm with @dob on orbiting. Having stable orbits would be good a backdrop for knockback, promoting sniper shots and shoot/correct dance.
Also, a screen filter will mess with blue bullets making them effectively invisible. You have to supplement with some greens.
Other than that, a very cute game.
Haha, nice 4th-wall-breaking effect when achieving 1k score

Also, love the vectors. This art should not be forgotten.
@honey-pony Thanks for playing it the intended way (:
Mouse cursor stuck in one direction. Completed nevertheless.
I'm upgrading the rating of your game!
Liked and subscribed. Looking forward to playing post-jam version again.
Who is John Galt?

The controls are unexpected to be absolute, but manageable. Please add a setting for KSP veterans for prograde/retrograde/tangent/antitangent controls
Thanks for thinking about the trees.
What are the controls? I tried clicking and the usuals, but nothing happens.
