Cool story
Your game is a work of art, I cant Believe you managed to to this in just one weekend. The story is really inmersive and the gameplay feels great, it has a little of everything. Cool graphics and Music Choice
@teddyincdev Thanks a lot! Graphics and music are not mine thus I opted out from that. Hardest part was the terrain, dialogue and the stability mechanics! Worked like 14 hs per day haha. Thanks a tons for your kind review :D :D
cool
Very creepy atmosphere, lot of cool vibes, feels really solid to play.
Was not expecting a glock
@3mpty thanks for playing!! not enough time to put a proper space gun haha
Interesting short walking simulator. Unfortunately the framerate tanked at the climax and made it impossible for me to play well. Still enjoyed it though. Good job.
@brandondev thx! i think it might be a water system, gonna just remove it, thx for the advice!!
I failed to dig into the game because I often get dizzy playing 3D game...But I can see how much work is put into it just looking at it...Fantastic.
Nice game , really love the graphics! Story was great. Solid entry !
Highly atmospheric, I just wanted to wander around in the snowy biome to the nice music. And maybe build something. Maybe... because the builders are in me RIGHT NOW
Really good job on this game!
The narrative direction is absolutely fantastic for a jam game. the execution is also on point, your selection of assets, systems and audio serves the game well.
Thanks for the game I felt a lot of different emotions 💕
@dannyk1994 @madjackmcmad thanks a ton for trying my game on the stream! hope you had fun!
@doot thanks a lot for your comment :D really glad you liked it! these comments are the reason i do game dev. :D
Nice game and good job on the atmosphere and story!
@jessefreeman Thanks for playing!!!
The first person story with text dialogue options and suddenly going wild with a gun near the end sort of reminds me of The Beginner's Guide. I very much enjoyed this; it's amazing.
The environment and music are very immersive.
Wow what a ride, great experience! That Sarah jumpscare got me good at 3am :D Nice work with the writing!
Definitely jumped at the end there. I just knew one was coming too. Nice job!
What a ride! That was a great narrative for a jam. I think you chose your assets and terrain generation wisely to be able to focus on the story and scripting. The dialogue system was a little basic and could have fit better with the theme, but that's easy to accept.
The twist halfway through, and the sudden FPS took me by surprise. Definitely well done!
Hehe this is cool. The giant sign did make me laugh. But it was really cool how much the environment would instantly change, really made you not know what to expect next.
I promise to write a more full-fledged comment, but in the meantime, here's the live-recording: https://youtu.be/8_LZxCDpWIE?t=3392
Mouse cursor stuck in one direction. Completed nevertheless.
@ic-rainbow oof, that's a weird bug, thanks for the feedback!!
Well, the full comment.
I really like the pacing of the story in this game! Despite my silly glitch-hunting playthrough, I did enjoy how the game builds up to the twist. I did eventually go back to talk to the chill, bipedal insectoid friend, so I've finally got the full gist of the antagonist-at-hand.
When the horror segments kick in, I did appreciate how the gun isn't very effective against the enemies. The fact that you're both limited in bullets, and can't reload, helped make the player feel pretty helpless when swarmed. That said, it seemed like the sanity meter hit was pretty generous (the fire burning part seemed to have a far more negative effect in comparison,) so I can't say I felt overwhelmed by the zombies.
ETA: given there's a lot of walking in this game, it would have been nice if the running pace was just default rather than holding shift key. I think the running pace is quite tolerable and helps move the story along, while walking just feels like a complete crawl.
Still, I adored the experience I had. Certainly would love to see more!
Aside: Unity really needs to fix their FPS scripts, especially the slope detection. But then again, at least it let me appreciate this oasis most players would have probably missed out on.

@omiya-games Haha! I put the oasis but I did not think anybody would see it since it lies AFTER the Sarah event. That's because my process in making a game is first designing the level and then adding the events. Thanks for playing the game, you were the one that explored it the most even if I sweated a bit by you missing some events, but that's a lesson to learn: All players enjoy the game in different ways, you gotta adapt the game for everyone. In a way though, it showed you something special that I am sure nobody saw hahaha. I am really glad you liked it! :D
Calm sound it really nice. I've caught a bug: when you press shift inside a dialogue running animation plays but it's minor thing. Or when I talk to alien he (or she) doesn't rotate to me. Just jam stuff anyway. What was problem for me is the game flow. I see crosshair and think "Ha, dat da shoota, great". But no, I was wrond because it's a visual novel instead an action game. I can get some action after... may be, five minutes dialogues and walking around. But before I'm to see ice rocks, snow, and two small builindgs, and UI. May be, it would be better if action starts after 20-30 seconds after I press "Start play". Something happends but there is too much empty space, so I feel boring. However, may be, play style like this is not for me. But I really think making space smaller could improve player experience.
Woa ! Amazing game ! The story and the ambience were really nice, I played a bit recklessy on my first attempt, skipped the encounter under the large sign by going through the mountain, runned into the fire tornados, tried to horde some zombies at the end before getting to the ship with only 17 stability left... I redid the game and skipped everything but the first dialog, hiking some more outside the designed area, just to see the good ending. :P A simple game overall but really effective at that, it reminded me of soma a lot, with less content obviously but still, an impressive deed !
