WOAW! WHAT AN ENTRY! Incredible game. I really liked it! The sounds are awesome, and the graphics are original and cool. Really loved the gameplay. It's SO satisfying to land on a planet and BOOM you crush it :D

SO JUICE! I really enjoy the wobbly minimalistic art style. The sounds really add to the whole experience. The gameplay also is nice and a bit addictive even. Great job for making this amazing game <3

This game feels so good! I really like spinning fast and just slamming into a planet, or flying out into space hoping that I will land somewhat correctly where I want to go. It's a great compo entry, and also fits the theme. It's really juicy and well polished, with a fitting soundtrack and sound effects. Only thing I'm missing is a progress save, or level select.

Great job!

Wow. This was truly a joy to play. So many nice details: the trees losing their leaves as you run through them, the satisfying thwomp and crack on the surface when you land, the fade to white at the end. Excellent work!

OMG!It wasn't until I clicked in that I realized that the planets of lines were so dynamic that they acted like jell-o as the player moved. The game gets more challenging aOMGs the levels go on, and it's fun!!!

jeremyfa 2021-10-07 22:32

Very satisfying mechanics! I enjoyed jumping around. The progression is well done, starting from a simple example then slowly adding new elements.

Overall it's pretty easy to understand what to do and fun to play.

In addition, the music is nice, the graphics as well.

Fun and well polished entry, well done!

flying-dog-fish 2021-10-07 22:36

What a great and fun little game. The wonky physics fits the theme perfectly.

lucas-viana 2021-10-07 22:42

What a fantastic entry, i really stayed engaged without blink for minutes! Incredible job!

laurenceogden 2021-10-07 22:46

Graphics on the planets are very impressive, levels were well structured. Got something new out of each one, ended up having to thing about centre of mass and the mass of individual planets.

Eventually got stuck on a level with stars rotating in the middle, still one of the best entries I've played so far.

Please in future games please can you enable WASD as well as arrow keys. :-)

Very nice! I didn't quite get what the water did, but otherwise the mechanics were very clear and the graphics and audio sold them very well. I think this could easily be the basis of a commercial title, along the lines of games like Ynglet. Keep up the good work!

This is awesome one of my favorites of the jam. Its planet jumping and its really beautifully done with deformable planets and great physics and reactive graphics. One of the coolest things is after a few levels it has a cool move real fast and then launch mechanic. I loved this thank you! I beat it too!

barrier 2021-10-13 12:55

Wow! This is one of the most unique entries! The jumping from planet to planet is super fun! More people need to play&rate this!

leyaotang 2021-10-13 13:29

Tre unique! What a game! Unfortunately the mood and the ludic atmosphere are unsalted, no pepper.

rufson 2021-10-13 13:44

This game is a :gem: Minimal design is great and very smooth. Awesome physics and cracks on the planets. Hard to complain about something here...and it's COMPO! Grats to developer

brotherst 2021-10-13 13:50

My first game to get 5 stars all round. This is so freaking good.

ltyrosine 2021-10-13 14:32

Your game is inspiring on how an entry can be simple yet so fun! Gravity and controls are very well implemented. Love the music also. Congrats.

nonon 2021-10-13 15:05

Great game! Love the simplicity of the idea and the design. Easy to understand and the levels are good. Good job!

soulo 2021-10-13 15:25

Amazing physics! Surely one of the best games on this jam.

atmospherium 2021-10-13 15:42

That was fantastic. Gameplay was super satisfying - flinging myself off into the distance of space was a lot of fun. Graphics were perfectly suited for this kind of gameplay, and the way things were primitive shapes that responded to the impacts and gravitational pulls really made everything feel dynamic. Audio was great as well. Just an overall top-notch package.

tom-kun 2021-10-13 15:47

Very polished experience! The gameplay is simple and fun. Game feel is dope!

ic-rainbow 2021-10-13 16:21

I like gravity games. I like "vector" graphics. I like minimal style. I like this game.

daniikk1012 2021-10-13 16:28

This is AWESOME! The audio, the visuals, and most importantly, the gameplay mechanics are all so great. I enjoyed launching the character with massive speed, watching it fly around and sometimes even collect multiple stars on the way and return back to the start, it just feels so great.

willoxs 2021-10-13 18:20

Wow that is maybe the implementation wise best take on the theme so far. I got to read through the code how you made the unstable planets. Really well done!

ddrkirbyisq 2021-10-13 23:09

Well done!

beats 2021-10-14 08:12

I love the Vib Ribbon aesthetic, the planet deformation felt satisfying and the gravity mechanic was challenging but not rage inducing, great entry.

 Hi there! Just wanted to let you know that Crunda is featured on the GitHub Blog: [A peek inside some of the top games from Ludum Dare 49](https://github.blog/2021-10-25-a-peek-inside-some-of-the-top-games-from-ludum-dare-49/). Thanks for providing a building such a fun game _and_ for sharing the source code

A similar 2D game is also quite interesting, I think it will suit you. The game's music is a fun way for players to connect with [geometry dash](https://geometry-dash.co) even when they're not playing it.
