very cool, i like how instruments stop when the cat is defeated
cool mechanic, the earth defense gave me a chuckle
yup, performance is okay as an application, but terrible in browsers
also the theme is mostly in the puns and destruction
nice shot :D
neat game. very cool interpretation of the theme
very cool and unique idea. little hard to control, but fun nonetheless
thank you for playing! sound and music are definitely missing, and also my weakpoint :D i'll have to practice them more in the next jams. also hey, a fellow Godot4 dev. I've also enjoyed your entry quite a bit
thanks! good to know it works there. I love your game's art style by the way, very unique
@cameron-paxton thanks for the feedback and tips! @zimny11 good ideas! If I continue on with this, I'll probably add those :)
@herryfabien glad you enjoyed it! but let's just keep this .. dirty little secret to ourselves ;) it's a feature, of course. Every way to have fun is intended!
@sarah-alexa totally agree, the hitboxes and interactions need to be fiddled with a bit more, but i'm glad you had fun nonetheless
very nice, the interactions felt really good and it played well. sad that the shop didn't make it, but good stuff! will check up on the post jam version
very neat game, I liked the juggling i had to do between planting for defense and harvesting for income. quite hard. I wish the grid was a bit clearer and maybe bigger to make that easier, but it's a jam after all. well done!
cute and a pretty cool idea. the cuteness must be sacrificed!
neat little game, slightly hard to see where the ground really is, but otherwise pretty nice, good job
very cool game. feels good to play, but aiming seems to lose importance after a few waves. Well done nonetheless!
Nice concept! Slightly tedious to play and a bit punishing to die in a single hit, but still lovely.
Nice one! Not too difficult, more a game of endurance, but very fun all the way through. Also love the minimalist artstyle even though it's "unfinished"
very cool! would have loved a clear end or goal. Slightly sad that the challenge went down with the upgrades, instead of leading to different ones, but it was still fun!
Cool and original idea, I haven't seen anything like it. Maybe a little bit hard to connect the towers because it moves around. Overall fun, good job!
cool concept and beautiful art! Was fun to run around for a while, but there was no real incentive to keep going. Would love to see this continued with some sort of territorial defence which could be built up and fought. Keep doing what you're doing!
The artwork is really cute and makes it more fun.
The style and concept are interesting. I had fun playing. Btw big fan of the bird photo lol xD
Cute little game. It's fun to play, although I suck. The control was a bit weird. On my computer the arrows and 'a' and 's' worked instead of 'x' and 'y'. Still fun to play.
fun idea! wish the controls were a bit more snappy though. Polish it up with some sounds as well and this could be a pretty cool little bar brawler. Interesting choice of framework for a game, i'm impressed you could make a game with this :D good job
Surreal. Loved it The mixed art style of with illustrations, photos and models is awesome!
This looks cool, could you add a webgl upload?
I love this, it's so cute. really hard tho. Reminds me of pullfrog
Thanks a lot @kanagg and @vlad-r, glad you had fun! You can save your wrists a bit by letting go of the click while dragging (and also increasing mouse sensitivity, mine is quite high by default lol)
@themaydayman SumDog sounds like an UpDog situation. Never heard of that but seems like a cool thing for learning.
@shaggy cats don't know the concept of "mercy"
Neat game! Sadly a bit buggy and thus difficult to play, but it's still a very cool idea and has interesting puzzles. Keep at it
Beautiful and fun to play! Very well done. Some games could use some better communication what counts as a loss (like the asteroid shooting one) though. Nice entry though, good job!
Nice concept! Skeletons are op though :D Would love some more of this with multiple parties instead of one very powerful one.
Fun game! A bit difficult to control, yes, but still fun. I feel like the levels could use a bit more complexity and restrictions, since most of them were easily solved by adjusting the cannon and placing zero or just one element and ricocheting off the edges. Good work though, keep going!
nice puzzle game!
neat game, accidentally skipped a bunch of levels though when I tried to control the camera with wasd and got confused why i'm purple now. was fun though!
cool game. It's easy to understand and to control. Also visually pleasing
Holy heck, normal is pretty difficult already. Very fun and original though, good job. One thing that could be improved is the visibility of the shapes to go through.
Cool little game. The movement being tied to the mothership confused me a bit at first, but that went away quickly. nice job
interesting concept and design. I find the Game over screen and sound amusing. I hope you get to finish next time. Keep it up :)
fun and relaxed, but still not too easy. Nice game for a chill atmosphere.
lmao the chat really is that small unnecessary details that is absolutely necessary to pull the entire experience together. the start was challenging for a bit and then it snowballed into oneshotting everything, i think we need a boss encounter and perhaps a reset once in a while! fun stuff, would play more of if you make more
neat start to a game, though it is on the confusing side for now. i think i got stuck in a loop defending on day two. considering this is a bit of a tower defense game, i think it would make sense to show where enemies spawn just to be able to plan for them, right now everything was a shot in the dark. also, does building cost the resources collected during the day? if yes, how much? if not, why are we collecting those other things and not just artefacts? i think you have something interesting going on so far.
whoa that's surprisingly original. first person pacman describes it well, but i didn't actually expect it to be this scary too. going slow is definitely the wrong choice, you gotta bolt trough. but that makes it hard to know where the ghosts are and they sneak up on you. great sounds too, making me anxious when they got closer. good job, i think this can be expanded upon. i'm not sure if a gun makes sense or if something else would fill the self defense area better... i wasn't able to hit the ghosts with it at least lol, but it also gave me a false sense of safety. great idea, keep going
interesting idea, I like that you have to sell them before taking the other one or you lose everything. I think this is a solid foundation that you could build on.
I really got into this game. It's well thought out and made. The gameplay was really fun. It seems to me that the difficulty increases too fast and that it's almost impossible to recover from mistakes. All in all really well done
oooh narration, nice. lovely art, music and vibe too, definitely a nice fit for a story telling game. really liked mixing up the controls too, could have a bit of that metroidvania style map discovery if it was one level.
honestly really well made. and i don't say that because we're also collecting stamps :P the, i think fifth level was quite the difficulty spike but it was a welcome one, challenging but fair and felt good to solve. the style is cute, the music is chill and the puzzles are rewarding, what more could i want.. well, more of them! oh and wasd would be nice.
also aw, this almost worked xP

cute game, super viby in a chill post apocalyptic way. the pixel perfect jitter sadly hurt my eyes a bit. the controls were a little slow for my taste, but you could also choose to embrace that and design the environment around more chill gameplay, right now it's a little caught between being fast for the time pressure and enemies or slow paced with the control. really nice basis to go off of though, just choose your path!
well rounded game, very nice atmospheric sound. i was actually wondering if something was going to jump out at me. some coyote time and a bit smaller character hitbox for the high jumps could help make the platforming smoother, but otherwise no remarks.
super polished indeed, good job! man getting the shield was super satisfying, just turning around and popping all the ships at once. sadly it seems like the don't give xp that way. i wasn't entirely sure if modules were damaged by enemies since they seemed to be phasing through them just fine, but it turns out they were just running into them and hand a lot of health. that might need to be clarified. though i did enjoy the strategy of putting damaging modules in the back where they are the closest to deal the best damage. i feel like that has some potential, especially with the explody thing. i also sometimes ran into enemies after the upgrade selection since the mouse was moved somewhere else after clicking - godot has the warp_mouse() function, so you could perhaps save and restore that to get a smoother transition back :) overall, well rounded entry to the genre!
a multiplayer game for a jam is very ambitious, i commend you! with a few post jam fixups i'm sure this will turn out into a very interesting experience, keep it up
cute game! i like the retro vibes, really nailed those. i feel like if the collision would slide along walls it would make the controls way more comfortable overall. with just a bit of polish this is a nice little arcade game. also speed is op xP
super cute style, the music was also super hype. really liked the upgrade system and being able to swap out cards for a better build, that's rare in this genre. though i wish the stash was a little larger to keep more of the duplicates for upgrades, it's very hard to make a specific build otherwise. lovely game
@colin-doherty @zimny11 both of those should be fixed now. took some time, sorry. and thanks for playing :)
@jim-jagers glad you enjoyed it. you have to left click to lift and right click/space to open the book. then you can see what you need to collect. drag the stamps you have onto the book to mark them off
@tetrapteryx thanks for playing, we just played yours too <3 sorry about that bug, layered collisions are hard lol
thanks for playing @wormkingboo and @leo115 <3 you need to press right click while lifting the stamp to actually make a mark, otherwise you're only placing it back on the table
@runningopenloop a time limit was actually in the original scope, but i didn't manage to add it, well, in time :) thanks for playing
@macron starting on day 4 at least one of the stamps in the book won't be on letters, you only have to collect those that are available. error correction is a good idea for the boxes, might be hard for stamps though lol thanks for playing :)
@macron aw dang, yeah i just got that too. that must have snuck in at the last minute. thanks for reporting o7
ahahaha of course i got too greedy. it went so well and then..! well, what did i expect when manipulating the bidding. fun little game of risk and reward, though sad you ran out of time making more rewards. what could also be cool in the future is a way to estimate the audience sentiment to manipulate them better ;) also almost forgot, nailed the vibe and the artstyle is really cool, like one of the paintings that would be auctioned off
okay honestly i didn't expect this to be this fun. really cool and cute idea, well executed, feels really smooth too. just missing some music to vibe to and this becomes the perfect game for winding down, when you don't really feel like cleaning your own room but pressing buttons to make a cute lil digital guy do it is still on the menu. good job, i could see this on steam!

The Design is very cute and together with the music creates a chill vibe. It's a fun game, and I played it a few times.
Is a combo just getting the desired things after each other or does it have to be in one slice?
The controls feel smooth and the shooting is fun, but somehow I couldn't find much. Maybe a smaller map or more enemies could help
love the gallows humour and the societal commentary. as incremental interesting in the start but does get samey after the 100s, though the scope does fit the jam well. honestly, even the very simple minimalist style fits the mood of the crime that is committed - sterile bureaucracy wasting no thought about the actual damage inflicted to society. lovely little note in the top left corner too. for enhancements of the incremental format i'd like to see a larger diversity of white collar crime, i'm sure there are many more ways to skirt the laws. and dare i say, this might actually work as an edu-game with that polish. rene hit all the ux things well already, can only second those
side note the tutorial seems to be delayed if your second subsidiary goes bankrupt first, guess i was overzealous
A nice chill and cozy winter game. I like the overall vibe. I kept knocking over the pots
lmao 10/10 post. and that song is stuck in my head now
very beautiful and neat puzzles too, just needs a bit of polish around some of the rougher edges like text readability and smoothing out the controls, but then it's a nice rounded experience
i'd love to play and rate this, a web version would help. the drive is giving access denied
Good idea and well executed. I like that if you wait too long they will become overripe, but you can't always get all of them so you have to plan ahead. Also the mushrooms are a good idea, they make it more forgiving. The design is also very nice.
