@dock-frankenstein Forgot to hit publish on itch.. oops. Thanks for the heads up!
Great game! I love the art and sounds. It's a bit tedious to drag all the items in to the container, but apart from that, probably one of the best games I've played this jam!
Interesting concept, game is beautiful, I had some issues figuring out what to do at first! Also the music audio is saturated sometimes, and it is quite hurtful.
I like the idea of this game, some items teleport to me) I think it's a good idea to add resource icons to the minimap, excellent visuals and music
Wow, such a great game. gameplay, theme, atmoshere, all is great. Good job!!!
I also liked the game and the graphics including the sound, but figuring out what to do was hard and very unclear.
Amazing atmosphere - a space country with a bit of western. It was a bit hard in the begining, as there was no feedback when I put the appropriate cargo in the alien position (the number didn't change), but nevertheless it is an interesting game. Music is phenomenal, with the vocals reminding me of Ennio Morricone spaghetti western music. Whoever added the honking gets a beer from me :D
Liked the animation of the truck and containers, felt smooth. Sound was a bit choppy at times, not the music and sfx themselves, they where awesome, the playback stuttered. Really well done, and congrats on an entry to be proud of!
That's quite an enjoyable gameplay loop you've got there. It could give better feedback to the player, as sometimes I wasn't aware whether an item was in my cargo or still floating around. Atmosphere is nice, with pleasant graphics and chill music. Great effort.
Definitely has potential, great job!
Some gripes I had was with the tutorial not showing how to open carriages. I know you mentioned it in the description but you won't be able to scroll down to see it when launching the web version. Explaining controls with images is usually the most helpful ones.
I also had trouble trying to find the right planet to deliver certain materials like boxes and tumbleweeds when I mostly see suitcases. I think if you added arrows at the edge of the screen to point at the closest planet you could deliver a specific material based on what materials you currently possess would be an excellent idea to prevent you from wasting time and resources.
You guys have an awesome theme song, but in the web version I get distortions in the audio for a split second when starting a new game.
I really like the atmosphere of the game. The graphics and music are really nice and help a lot with that. Also the truck controlls and felling is really responsive and smooth. However I think that fuel consumption is to high and the inventory manage is slow. Maybe for solve the problem with the inventory, a feature could be added that by clicking twice you can automatically move things from inside to outside and vice versa and then finish polishing it manually. Despite of that issues your game is really nice and you can be proud of doing it in 2/3 days, Congrats!
This is very cool! I’ve been sitting for half an hour, spreading all sorts of things across the planets and really enjoying it. Great job, I really liked the idea
Really good gameplay and audio
Liked controller and sounds. Good job!
Honk! That's it. Nice game!
This is one of the best games I've ever seen in any jam. Visuals, sounds, idea. They are all nigh perfect. I have only two complaints. First, it's said in the description that we can buy fuel but I couldn't find it. Secondly, there is a major bug: when an asteroid hits the truck, there is a change that it may cause a stunlock.
oh ! it quite similar of my game, but better i think ...
Nice concept! Slightly tedious to play and a bit punishing to die in a single hit, but still lovely.
Love it! I'm a sucker for space truckers and you nailed the vibe perfectly. I love that you gave the planets a trucker radio-esque sound. Overall very solid and fun little game.
Interesting concept. Too me a while to figure out how to actually deliver the goods to each planet, dragging them onto the planet didn't seem to work my first play through.
Love the music - very space western vibe.
Very nice UI, checked out options too, loved the sliders there ^^ Main menu is inviting, and the music is great. Audio effects are also enjoyable. The gameplay itself is so chill and relaxing, only the movement can feel a bit taxing sometimes, you have to be quite careful not to overshoot for example, be careful with turning, etc. I like quality of life assets, like the mini-map. We even can explore a universe, which is really cool! The planets are so beautiful! I assume "limited space" comes in our container :) Great game ^^
Wow! So much depth in just a few days. This is one of the more impressive jam entries I've ever played in terms of sheer scope and polish. I loved the visuals and sounds, and felt the game itself was intuitive enough. The controls for dragging and dropping were a little bit sensitive, I would have appreciated some lenience from the system there.
My biggest gripe came down to the punishing RNG, which got in the way of really getting a good feel for the game as I frequently either didn't have an obvious pathway to making money or access to the right store options to keep playing. I think making certain amenities like a store and an initial trade option at the start of the session deterministic rather than randomised would have gone a long way towards a more addictive loop. After 5 attempts I still don't think I got to see everything the game had to offer, which is a unique problem to have for a jam game.
Really solid effort for the most part, I'm so impressed! Congrats and good luck on the next one.
Really cool!
Very nice idea! It made for a great play, and it was smooth to control. The graphics and music tie the vibe very well. Just felt like the fuel was gone too quick. If you manage to improve it you have a winner!
