Really enjoyed simple gameplay, very fun to play. There could be local high-score, so I can brag about how much far I went.

Really enjoyed simple gameplay, very fun to play. There could be local high-score, so I can brag about how much far I went.
A little bit confusing, but loving the futuristic sect atmosphere of the game. Reminds of the Cathedral from Fallout 1 :)
Very minimal and graphics/animations are cute, but there should be a lot better hit-box model (especially for the trees). I died at level 9 :p
Thanks for feedback! :)
Navigating through real life is also hard. But, when you get used to it, you avoid your disasters better. There is always a light on the end of the tunnel.
As in real life, disasters are random. Changing its directions constantly, sometimes to better, sometimes to worse. So you must think before you act in order to avoid disasters.
Even going back is not that bad, as long as there is light around you, as in real life.
What will happen, it's all up to you.
Really loved the game! Transported 401 people :)
Haha, loving this weird/funny games. Steve is the boss :)
Really enjoyed playing this game. Interesting sound mechanics and tense atmosphere of the unknown makes this game one of my favorites.
Standard platform with really great art. Just not really into theme.
Really nice idea, and implementation is JavaScript at its finest :)
I like creating own world games (even better if colorful), but is there a victory condition, or limit to digging?
Nice game, very minimalistic and straight to the core. Had fun playing it, and enjoyed the sound :) Pretty slow at the beginning, maybe add hard mode. I thought that touching the bars will also end the game, so tried to evade them :p
Great visual style combined with amazing atmosphere, and arrow/grappling platform jumping really makes this game my favorite for this LD. Keep up the good work :)
Didn't expect ending, but it's effective. Nice experience.
It should be a "Compo" entry, don't know why it is marked as "Jam" :p
It has that space loneliness feel to it, and I really wanted to eat (rggghh, just to say hi to them) that ship.
Controls are a bit clunky, so I didn't manage to do it :(
Wow! Just wow.
When yellow guys turned to gray and stopped moving, I got chills.
I like the color representation and not using some complex models. Makes you focus on the essence.
Crowd implementation is great, did you use some library for it? I guess the source could be nice :)
Really fun game, nice looking graphics with good mechanics. Too bad there's no audio :(
Wow! You get 10 out of 5 stars on "Theme".
Graphics is also great, really in the mood of happy children, walking casually in the park. Kind of some theme park, colorful and calm.
I really missed the audio, just some balloons pops would be cool.
Android build is recommended, as the game is mobile friendly.
Web build has problems with font colors (all text became black) :p
@Logan That's how smart werewolf survive. I agree combos would be great, thanks for idea :)
@darkpaw Yeah, probably shaders don't work :( I didn't test it on any tablet, although my Samsung S4 runs it fine.
@iossif
Try to center it back every time. It would be overpowering that you can rotate indefinitely.
Congrats on graphics and riding through the sunset atmosphere. I really feel like a renegade.
Definitely polished and playable game, would play again.
Doesn't really fit the theme, as I don't see that i'm monster here :P
Looks great. Style reminds me of Darkest Dungeon and Mike Mignola artwork.
Keep up the great work :)
Theme, mood and graphics get 10 stars out of 5 :)
I loved the game. Really gives the experience of invincible monster, lurking and hunting its prey.
As i said, superb art style.
I like destruction physics puzzlers, especially in 3D with such lovely art style.
Gold, bronze, silver ranks are cool and increases replayability, but you could have them more focused when the level is finished, like going up into center of screen, stars flashing.
I miss that juiciness when I solve the puzzle.
Fits the theme, and also quite challenging.
Upgrade system gives additional replay value, which is cool.
Classic platformer, I expected some additional mechanic, regarding that "you are the monster".
Story progression is kind of weird, but congratulations on amount of levels and content :)
Downloaded source, but the game seems broken. All monsters spawn on same location, and only one is controllable.
Waiting for fix :p
Really creepy atmosphere, I loved the effects (especially that screen shake glitch).
If only targets had a little more alive feeling to them, like running away when witnessing "consuming".
This game raises the important question:
WHO IS THE MONSTER? THE SHOOTER OR THE BULLET?
I like the creepy atmosphere.
Enemies on the ground are kind of too tiny, but it kind of makes it interesting.
Looks really fun to play, cool music aswell.
Amazing art, and good music, good job! :)
Had a blast playing this game, good job! :)
Still not working on my win 8 :(
Damn it, I liked your gameplay video. Looking at the battlefield in the end, and all those corpses lying around, I shed a tear for all the fallen.
WW1, never forget!
Gameplay is way too slow for me, reminds of me old games on arcades. Also the lack of any control other than shooting is quite weird for me :p
I like the pixelated character graphics, and glad you went with decent resolution.
Cool puzzle game, fits the theme :)
I was expecting that due to the theme, there is no werewolf, and that I am the monster.
After 5 minutes, I found dead body on terrace and only one guy was in the previous room, so insta shot him :P
It's weird not to have immediate win state, as game continued and I though it was some bug and that I missed it, and continue to roam the rooms, frustrated that kills are not happening.
Steampunk mood is cool, I can imagine this ladies and gentlemen on high-class party, when murders starts to occur.
Theme is totally missed, but general idea is great.
Cool game, really enjoyed it.
I like how you interpreted the theme.
I guess this could be easily extended to procedurally generating a lot of interesting levels.
Interesting concept and nice artwork. Fast paced, cool for mobiles :p
Dinosaur games are always cool to play :D
Great and fun game. You even have combos and special powers, which is great.
Interesting game, audio is superb. If you don't win in audio category, then don't know who will.
Very playable and a lot of content for 48h competition.
Watched the beginning of Ludum Dare at your twitch channel, keep up the great work.
Nice game overall, but kind of hard as the game progress...
It got Mario Kart feel, nice.
I expected that you can fall off chariot, and get smashed into bloody mess, but even this is cool.
I guess rocks could go for ancient technology theme.

Disclaimer: I fixed web-gl build post deadline :(
Is this like an existential philosophy game? I move left/right, but I'm always pushed toward the center of the boat. And also I can moonwalk, altough I miss some music for it. Resistance is futile.
Very eccentric and bizzare game, a lot of things to annihilate. It's cool you included the timelapse, I always love watching those.
Interesting arcade game, the music really brings the space vibe. I like how camera pans out where your fleet gets bigger, altough it looks like we have only Spacetroopers on our ships, as they can't hit anything. I am constantly flying in circles in order to destroy enemy base, our bullets miss it most of the time. It's challending to move through those space corridors, damn you aliens for building the walls in space :)
I like the graphics, it looks like hand drawn colored sketches. It was a relaxing experience, although it was hard to anticipate when the boat will start moving away, and then rush to fill it up. It is completely on the theme of the limited space, but if there were some sounds of sea/docks, it would be even better experience.
Amazing atmosphere - a space country with a bit of western. It was a bit hard in the begining, as there was no feedback when I put the appropriate cargo in the alien position (the number didn't change), but nevertheless it is an interesting game. Music is phenomenal, with the vocals reminding me of Ennio Morricone spaghetti western music. Whoever added the honking gets a beer from me :D
The whole vibe is bizarre but comical, and I would say open to the interpretation, as any philosophical rhythm game should be. Music matches the atmosphere, although it looks like some hit zones are smaller or just displaced, so as in life, there are things out of your control. I had fun playing it, it's captivating.
Nice and polished game, it's very satisfying to build up your tiny island . It's very relaxing, almost like a puzzle experience, altough I expected a bit more challenge. Basically, every move I do is benefitial in some case, I was never close to losing or making big bets. It really fits the theme :)
@lou-bagel it's hard to move in sleep :D We had to make some compromises, as moving to their left/right gave the game too much control.
@smitner We wanted to add a baby but couldn't find nice model for it. Then we went for a cat, but added some more fluffy animals. It's like an easter egg, they are not appearing every time :D
@soup-and-sandwich-games @thomas-volpato @guardaro @freamdev @hagamosvideojuegos @rafael-garcez @erlioniel @selkieharbour @commanderstitch Thanks for all the positive feedback, and spending time to try the game :D Is there anything you would add to the game?
Interesting mix of genres, I enjoyed the game altough it could be a bit faster, too much clicking to beat the opponent. I like the rougelite aspect of chooing new dominos and upgrades, I can see you making a full game out of this. Maybe different domino tables (with covered tiles), or something to counter the opponent moves.
Amazing entry - it really gives the vibe of a big American wedding. It's easy to understand, memory puzzle with limited space, so I always wonder is there a perfect solution. A lot of easter eggs, Vito having Mafia attribute (Corleone?), I like the humor. You did amazing job with all these combinations and things that I didn't expect, like someone wearing same dress as groom or bride, I didn't account for that initially. Fits the theme perfectly :D
Super hard controls. I guess it would be easier with the touch controls (on mobile), with the mouse I release the press either before the piece or after it most of the time. Thank you adding checkpoints, it would be very frustrating to get back on the start of level, as I died a million times. Interesting sound effects, I guess you recorded them yourself :)
This really fits the theme, and it's very tense to play. Maybe some items could be more valuable, but they tend to interact with other items, like there is a flaming sword, but it destroys the magic scrolls if it touching it, or the ice crown freezes the flaming items, make it like rock-paper-scissors or something, make it even harder to fit everything.
I like that you added story to this weird concept. If only I could push people around, and/or they trip me over so I lose time while standing up. Otherwise, very unique concept for "limited space".
Really bizare concept - am I managing a hostel or my bedroom? Inviting guests to the bedroom really seems kinky. It was hard to read on some screens, as background was too noisy or just plain too bright, I had issues following what's happening.
Interesting one-tap game, I would like to try the mobile version. I though the dice was rolling random at first, but it was just counting down from 6 to 1 (so you are limited in the space you can cover until it burns out). Good job with the level design, altough it was super hard to reach those small platforms, because the dice is locked when it touches the ground, and then just bounces off the platform.
Interesting mix of genres, altough the main part of loading things into the truck is a bit confusing.
Amazing game - the start is slow, but very soon it's super fun to make the compromises with limited space for activating buildings. The graphics, the music, the whole vibe is amazing and polished, and it fits the theme 10/10 .
Amazing game, I had some problems with understanding how to build at the start of the game, and the "end turn" button doesn't look like a button at all. But eventually I understood the buildings, and I had a lot of fun trying to optimize Fusion fuel production vs moving around collecting other resources. Graphics is really cute, I like the hand-drawn style, although I would expect some simple animations (bounces and tweens), the game looks very static. I am very happy that I managed to win the game, it took me like 15 minutes of playing, congrats on making such fun game for the 48h. Screenshot 2023-10-11 at 22.38.33.png
Interesting concept on RPG fights, I like controlled random where I can put the dice after the roll is done. I didn't make it to Wogharts, it looked like a endless fighting, a bit repetative after a while. The art is amazing tho'. I think there is some problem with resolution, I can only see dice in full screen view, and in top right corner "Level" label is cut.
Congratz on making the multiplayer game with bots (they didn't show a lot of challenge, but still I didn't expect to have bots at all). It's hard to try the Ludum Dare multiplayer games solo, but nevertheless I liked the vibe and music of the game. The goal of the game is not clear at the start, but when I realized that I need just to get a candle and go near a grave, it was super easy to finish the game. You should have bring more challenge, and also some more interaction with the other players. With the easy way out, I'm not even focussing at the other players, and I'm just running towards the grave. Should it be a deadmatch game or just sprinting and finish round in 10s game? Good luck with your engine, looking forward to see your future games :)
It was hard to understand at the beggining, then I found that how the building were placed, but even after couple of games, I didn't manage to make a Catnip Farm (how to consume offerings?). It's hard to see what is clickable and what is just decoration. Nonetheless, the art is great, it's very consistent, and I like the vibe of demon cat fighting the holy dogs. Good job on setting up this fantasy world :D
Super addictive game, I could see this working on mobile. I had a lot fun, at once point I started to question reality, do the monsters with 100 and 200 exist at all, hahaha. But then I got lucky, and found them both in one run, so I managed to have 540. It's really interesting concept, and it fits the theme perfectly. Adding online leaderboard is great, it gives additional challenge in trying to compete with others. Congratz on making such interesting and easy to understand game.
Screenshot 2023-10-11 at 23.09.03.png
Interesting concept, this is more puzzle than tower-defence, as you have only limited number of walls to set. I enjoyed it, altought the whole game can be faster, I set the walls on the start, and then watch for 2 minutes slow moving enemies drag along the map.
I definitevely didn't expect this kind of story. It was interesting to play it, I got ending 2, which was nice - bravo for the writing. The puzzles with stones were too easy, I expected a bit challenge there. Still, this is really a polished project, the art and the whole vibe is really consistent. On the dev side, did you use some framework for JRPG games or wrote everything from scratch?
Wow, amazing art. It's so cool to have a 3D artist in the team :) I liked the aesthetics of the game, everyone looks so sleepy, and the music really fits the general vibe. Exploring their comments were half of the fun. Our game is simillar to yours, just it's love couple fitting on a bed :D
Why is there first-person movement at all, if the game is about logical puzzles inside the fixed screens? It would be much easier to play the game if I'm just focusing at the screens. Game also lacks some feedback on tapping and what happens between turns, I literally can't tell what happened between turns, it's very hard to interact with the puzzles.
Interesting game, it could be made for mobile easily. Sometimes it's sad to see some diamonds which are impossible to get, but hey, you are the old Pete, what ever you take is good. It matches the theme for a relaxing puzzle game.
Amazing sokoban puzzles, I like the twist of our turtle not able to go backward. It feels like some SNES game, the whole vibe of the game is cute and cozy.
It's like a fever dream, not sure what to do, but I'm still going forward. I liked exploring the levels, although the enemies are ruthless, and since there isn't that many crossroads (levels are just twisted tunnels), it was hard to reach some places, as the enememies were blocking the only path there. It's positive to see the game in pure HTML5, bravo for the effort.
Wow, a lot of levels in the game, I like it. Interesting concept, altough it's weird that the direction of the ninja is not preserved during movement, I need to aim the dash (basically it's jumping) every time. I had a lot of problems with acid river and moving platforms, always was over-dashing the platform and dying. Other rooms were cool, expecially red light/green light room, that was super tense. It's interesting that you didn't mix mechanics in any of the rooms, like having both acid river and pidgeons in some rome, while the labyrith and shooting darts in the another, etc. I like the ending, it seems like there could be a sequel for it.
Screenshot 2023-10-11 at 23.22.34.png
The music is scary, and the overall concept is a bit horrorish. It's like some daring game, should I move forward or not? It's hard to anticipate when the walls will cave in, but I had fun playing it.
Amazing art style, even without any animated parts, it's very refreshing and bright. Expecially with glowing bubble vfx. The mechanic is a bit confusing at the start, but then I realized that I should blow away the bubbles with bunnies up and alligators down. Why is the timer so long? Do you expect for players to play one run for 5 minutes?
I really like the atmosphere, everything breaking around while you try to get maximum value. Characters reminded me of thiefs from Home Alone, they are clumsy and trying to be mean, but are just comical :) Although I played it by myself for the first try (I need to show it to my friends for co-op), I can see this being released with different levels, sleeping guards, locked doors and random stuff. Amazing graphics, everything fits the theme completely.
It was super small window on my MacOS, so it was hard to see, but basically it's a game of Ludo.
Screenshot 2023-10-11 at 22.47.47.png
Good job on finishing up the game for the event, but where is the "Limited space" theme here? Regarding interface, it's weird to select the player piece from a dropdown menu, I would expect after rolling, I can click on the piece on the board to move it. And I expect the game to handle turns, after moving, the turn should automatically move to the next player, it's weird to have to change the player manually from dropdown. Next time focus on the theme and make it more of a game, than board game simulator.
Really fun game, it looked simple at the start, but then I got addicted to solve the puzzle. I like how the planets healt is represented with the faces, it adds comic element to the planet destruction. It looks like it could have a bit variatey, with different starting position of planets and initial speeds. Nonetheless, welcome back to game development, and good luck with your next game :D
A creepy take on Sokoban - covering up the chemical incident with a limited space in the truck seems comical. Good job on making multiple levels, it's really playable game.
It looks amazing visually, really cute graphics, and a fun game. It's hard not to cut trees, but hey, who can stop the guy with a big sword :D
Kudos for the art, clean and simple game, although I expected that objects will spawn in different places when restarting the game. Next time add a timer, so people can compete with their scores. It's a good entry for a first game jam, keep em coming :D
I really enjoyed it, the audio and cats are 10/10. It a bit hard since there isn't much time to anticipate the obstacles, expecially the jumping one, but it's fun. I can really feel the anxiety and rush for saving those poor cats, and trying to imagine all those cats in the box while the good guy is running away. On the spot with the theme, great game :)
Interesting concept, but the interacting is hard. It looks like there is small collider in front of the character, and it's super delicate so I miss most of the time, and go around and try to pin-point the exact position to pick up items. I guess, some sphere collider would work much better, so character can pick items all around him. Nonetheless, the idea is ok and it fits the theme, but it looks like too much features were planned and then you didn't have time to polish.
Interesting retro-inspired game, a bit standard shooter without any complications.
I am not familiar with cooperative storytelling games, but this seems interesting for imagination and writing practice. I tried the game a bit, it's very focused on the interconnection between community members, but still not having any heroes (leaders?) directly in the questions is an interesting choice, altough my playthrough intuively had to include something close to a hero. I also had to limit myself, not to refactor some story elements from before, basically just to keep improvizing without improvement.
Uusing https://deck.of.cards/ , I limited myself to first 10 cards, my story was:
Nine of diamonds - News from outside the community arrives. Bad news.
A messenger from another tribe arrives, bringing bad news about their chieftain being assasinated.
Nine of Clubs - An unexpected romance takes place between two community members. It lasts.
Young messenger is exhausted from a tiring journey, but he is happy to see the girl he met the last time he was in our tribe. They talk, and walk, and talk, and walk, and can't get away from each other. The kiss happens. A forbidden love between members of different tribes.
Eight of Hearts - A reclusive citizen goes out into public for the first time in a long time. Everyone is happy to see him.
Hearing of the chieftain being assasinated, an old crone sworn to silence speaks. Everybody is happy to hear her wise words, but alas, she prophecies the great danger incoming. Three of Spades - Something seemingly miraculous occurs, but some citizens suspect it to be a hoax. Not genuine.
A storm rises, completely unexpected. Are gods angry with us because of something we didn't do? The old wise crone speaks, while the rain pours from the sky, the time has come for us to rise.
Eight of Diamonds - A public landmark is vandalized.
Everyone took shelter from the downpour, and the rest of the night was clear and silent. In the morning, the tribe found our shrine vandalized. Stone altar to the gods broken, and muddy tracks all over the place. This is just the first sign - says the crone.
Four of Hearts - A group of citizens competes in a tournament against another community.
A test of strenght must be done, for a new chieftain needs to take place within our brother tribe. The strongest and mightiest went far away to another tribe, but only few returned. Leading the small bunch, one of them wore the crowns - our chieftain.
King of Diamonds - A new philosophy becomes popular among the community's youth. Eveyone accepts it.
All hail the new chieftain! All hail the Brotherhood! We should conquer the world! God chose us! shouted the whole tribe, from young children to the eldest seniors.
Two of Spades - A former citizen returns to visit the community.
An old warrior returns from a journey far away. So many seasons passed... Where were you when we needed you the most? Traitor! They didn't even bother to see the things he brought with him.
Ten of Diamonds - A citizen leaves the community for good.
The warrior is shocked and dissapointed with the tribe. I knew of no fear in the wilderlands, saw all kinds of gods beast all over the land, but never I saw such wild bunch. He left in anger and despair, looking for his new tribe.
Seven of Spades - Something believed to be lost forever is found again. A much needed thing.
Travelling far away, the warrior reached our brother tribe, They demanded a gift - a magical crystal, told to be lost forever in the desert. But I have already found the crystal - said the warrior, I have journed long and wide, collected all imaginable treasures, and the crystal is yours now. They accepted him into the tribe.
@september-xyzx I drew a card, roll a die for yes/no, and wrote that part of story, trying to keep it cohesive :)
Simple arcade game, clear visualls and a bit challenging to play for a longer time. I would propose adding either a score count (high score) or some timer, just to give the player some goal. Also, some progression would be interesting, different fireball speeds, different levels (just the plarforms are different), maybe some traps or any kind of variety. Nevertheless, congrats on finishing up your game :D
