That was fun! I like that you didn't put a time limit there :) Also graphics and animations are so fun, love it! Great use of the theme.
Thanks @rezistor!
Thanks @jiri-hysek - yeah I am trying to think of other mechanics to implement to replace time, as when I was testing, it felt stressful and tedious to rush. In retrospect, I probably had to cut more features and extra levels since I spent more time on the animations, so glad you appreciate them!
Nice one, looks great and plays well. At first I was just switching everyone everywhere, but worked out who needed to go where
Very cool game! I'm glad there was no timer too, customers had to be patient with my slow beer methods. Animations and audio are really good too. I wish there were more levels, I really enjoyed it. Congrats!
This is a really cool idea! Once I figured out what the three workers did more clearly, I had a lot of fun playing it. The pixel art was fantastic, totally one of the best from this jam that I've seen so far. I really wish there waws more content for this game... If you are willing, I can easily see this turning into a full game. Awesome job!
I like that you didn't add timers, it's very relaxing game. Characters are very cute, I really enjoyed running the bar :D It can also be a fun mobile game, as it's only tapping, great work.
it's a game where you watch people chug beer, click and have fun with it, no timers, no angry customers, just fun and chill, and I appreaciate it!
Thanks @haydads - I'm curious, was the screen with the worker's tasks help? Or was it not knowing what tile they needed to be on? I know, for example, the sink to wash mugs is really tucked under there, plus, pixel art in general can be hard to figure out what's what at first.
Thanks @247gamestudio - glad you enjoyed the no timers, ha, and yeah, I really regret not making a couple of more levels, I almost decided to enter the jam instead of compo to give me another day.
@seam00se - thanks so much! I definitely thinking about adding to it!
@rongon - thanks and yeah I did have mobile in mind. I just put out an app on the iOS store that was a game jam game from 6 years ago lol, so had mobile on the mid.
thanks @stmate03 - I'm glad the chill factor was well received!
Wow that was awesome, especially loved the music. Nice and simple fun mechanic, with beautiful visuals to match. Playing it was really fun, thanks for the game
Reminded me of an old flash game about a bartender in a bar). But this additional space limitations, transformed the gameplay, became more focused and competitive, it's not just mindless clicking on sprites. But over time this underachievement, starts to get really annoying, if the author wanted to create such an experience, then congratulations. Good job!
Fun and quirky, can imagine this could be expanded on quite a bit! Also loved the visuals & music, great atmosphere. Marvelous work!
@goddzeproject - to clarify, you find the movement mechanic annoying, which you would prefer simply tapping a customer, and are being sarcastic?
Thank you @monsieurduck & @svenerik! And I do hope to expand on it!
@lou-bagel I apologize for my inaccurate wording. No I meant that your changes in movement mechanics have changed the gameplay nicely compared to that old flash game)
Thanks for clarifying @goddzeproject - I think I got mixed up which game your comments referred to, ha. I'm glad the clarification reflected positively, but also let me know if any feedback! Thanks!
epic idea. dude you need to put some more effort and maybe publish this, I'm really impressed.
Fun concept, and we can imagine many variations on the size, shape of the terrain and placement of machines to make for multiple levels. Could be a good game !
Cool game. My best strategie was to do the cancan, just have everybody move around in a circle. Cool concept. It would have made the game ahrder if there where a time or klick-limit to each level to make you think more. I liked it.
This is a cool idea! I think having a more complex bar layout may have helped a bit, since I ended up just moving the people around in a circle which worked best. Great animations/graphics, and nice music too!
Simple game but one of my favorite so far ! An idea with some potential for a bigger game, and most of all, an idea that feed like from a real life experience. I never did one of this job, but I really can imagine more what it's like to be surounnded by all these customers and be desesperate. The game is well executed and feel polish. Really all my congratulations !
I like the concept, definitely would like to see the game being expanded more!
Best thing you did was removing the time constraint, for sure! There's a winning strategy others have already mentioned, but I'm sure you can figure out how to add new rules to avoid it ;D
Simple logic and complicated game play! Due to my awful game play, I was annoyed little, but this means you made your game super-limited which fits the theme. Cool!
I had a blast playing this, I was playing with my buddy and laughing while trying to manage this little bar
Very chill and fun game! Had a great time watching the people chug beer, and felt it was an interesting twist on the classic slide puzzle. This works very well with the theme, and overall, was a very enjoyable experience. Hope that your future game making goes well. :)
Thanks everyone, re: all the comments! I couldn't keep up, but I appreciate them!
Yeah, it's a good concept, it's pretty complex for a jam game so I can understand your difficulties. Music fits the game well, would be nice to have some sound effects like beer filling/cash register ca ching sound. I'd suggest polishing it and seeing how it works with just the three employees before expanding it.
