Interesting concept overall! The first camera feels a bit weird though, if you click too fast the camera just keeps going higher and higher. Also I feel like the second one could be a bit closer to the house, or it could auto-adjust its position based on the number of gifts. Nice work though, I enjoyed making a stack of 20 gifts and watching it fall down :D
A fun game, but a skeleton can spawn right in front of you and there's nothing you can do to not die :D
UPD. hold on, skeletons only spawn at the top of the screen, nevermind, it's all fair then, haha
Haha, I had an idea to make a game in space in the beginning, and I was sure that someone will make something like this, I like when people approach ideas differently :D A fun experience overall, I imagine it took some time to tune those controls to feel as smooth as they are now! I believe there are many things that can be improved, like upgrades, which was mentioned a lot by some previous comments. Maybe also more patterns/types of enemies... But the game how it is right now is a great foundation for all of that, so good job!
Honestly I didn't expect it to be that good, the gameplay is very satisfying and calming! It's also very addictive, if it weren't for my job, I would spend a few hours there for sure! :D
I liked the intro very much, the animation got me intrigued! But, as the description says, the game is unfinished for now, so not much to say about the actual gameplay. I think it has the potential to become something cooler and bigger than a technical demo, so keep it up! :)
Wooow, well, that's innovative enough :D
Super cool, I played till the very end, and I would very much like to play a full game like this. This gameplay, those voices... Excellent!
Once you understand what to do the game is pretty fun, but it definitely requires some patience :D
Wow, well, that was innovative! I liked how fluid the animation was, at some point I even spent some time just pressing random buttons and watching the image change, haha
The art looks awesome, I like the fact that you can see buildings outside the window, kind of adds to the whole atmoshpere. I also liked the ambient theme, although it would be even better if the sound was coming not from the center (as there is no visible source?), but evenly across the room. Very relaxing experience overall, good job!
Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback! Yeah, at first we planned too much of everything, but animations and their tweaking ended up taking most of the time, leaving almost none for balancing out the stats and getting features other than duck assembly done properly, haha
I was ready to shed a tear when I first heard the song. The art, the music, the flappy-doggo, the way everything fits together is just crazy for a game jam. I know the comments here are more inclined towards saying good, but holy, I feel most pleased after playing this. I just love when a game delivers emotions as originally planned. I'm emotionally impressed.
I was just randomly scrolling through the ludum's feed, and this one definitely got my attention. I quite like the unique style, parallax effect for the background, and movement, which seems quite smooth. I've noticed that the hero receives damage even if it stands a bit away from an enemy, but maybe it's by design, otherwise I've stumbled upon a few minor bugs like hearts being incorrectly filled when receiving damage or enemies not receiving damage in rare cases, but anyway the overall setting sold it to me, so great job!
Until my first death I thought it's gonna be a piece of cake, but then I started to feel the challenge, took me a bit to beat all 20 levels, but it was totally worth it!
Wow, that was fun! Unfortunately I was stuck at one point where my guys weren't able to acquire new souls quick enough, but either way, that's a pretty addictive and cool little game, nice one! 2024-10-16 19.39.19.jpg
I just finished re-watching the true credits from beelivery, w̶i̶p̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶e̶a̶r̶s̶ and decided to see if you've participated in this game jam. Needless to say, seeing more bees made me very happy.
The gameplay is addictive, the feeling I got while playing reminded me of 2048, I wanted to see some BIG nubmers and I received the right kind of satisfaction.
Never thought I'd be running away in absolute terror from a vacuum cleaner. Man, those Roombas are scary...
Let me be honest, I didn't expect much from the screenshots alone, but the gameplay turned out to be quite enjoyable! For some reason I felt nostalgic for the old mobile games from jar times... Nice one!
Oh my, it reminded me of my previous ludum dare entry (what the duck), haha
I'm glad the ducks have their bread now, but it was quacking hard to kill that king, it took 4 generations of ducks for me! A ducking fun deck builder! Quackingly good one I'd say!
Also if you spam "End Turn" really fast you have some nice fireworks!
I really like the menu and the animation that follows after you click start game! I definitely got a bit inspired by it, will probably have this idea in mind for my future games, haha
It took me a few tries to tune my hearing skills. A pretty nice entry overall, good job!
An emotional one for sure. The whispers, the sounds, the art, all comes together really well for the experience! I'd actually play a longer version of this!
Wow, a reflection genre? Well, that's new here... Or is it? I don't know... Am I reflecting enough in my life? Should I reflect right now as I'm writing this comment? Man, this reflection stuff is contagious... Great entry though!
P.S. I thought I should add some obvious positivity right there, to show that I indeed liked this game, was it a bit redundant? Should I continue adding my thoughts layer by layer as they go? Am I going too far with this? Help...
I honestly didn't expect that I would spend more than a few mins in the game, but I spent almost half an hour, which is an impressive retention for a game jam to me, this was pretty fun! Maybe it's because I like this genre, haha, but still!
@gamayun-games Yep, originally 5+ levels were planned with some other stuff, but we had to scrap them to manage the scope 🥲
@empyreans Hahaha, it was super fun to watch, thanks for playing it! I didn't expect a 40-minute playthrough for this game, but I'll remember it for sure :D
I saw 2D art. It's not gonna be scary I thought. Then I toggled the flashlight a few times, heard a laughter, saw the left door opened, ended up not throwing enough tomatos in time and almost fell off my chair.
