Hilarious game!
Really fun game with cute art :) I like that it's up to the player how fast the difficulty progresses. (Didn't take me long till I regretted unlocking the donut lol)
Fun game with nice art and very pleasant music! Took me a few tries to get used to the controls, though.
This is great :D I really like the graphics and audio (especially the "talking" part at the beginning). I suck at memory games but I can definitely see myself playing this often! Every time when I fail I immediately want to start over just to show Mr. Boss that "No! I am not incompetent! I'll show you!"
Really cool idea!
Didn't know what to expect at first when I read the description. But after interacting with the first piece of art I completely fell in love with the game haha :D
Nice. And very addicting  Every time I miss the button I'm like "Noooo, why did I miss it?" and immediately start again. (I really need to work on my reflexes lol) Great entry!
Very fun gameplay with great art und music! :thumbsup_tone1:
Oooh, this is cool! I haven't played this type of game before, so I was a bit confused at first but it didn't take long till I got the hang of it. Had a tiny problem with the resolution at first (I'm playing on Windows) but resizing the window helped. (Without resizing I couldn't really see what the text for the choices said haha)
I love the art, and the background noises really sell that this is taking place on a festival :)
Really impressive what you managed to do in such a short amount of time!
At the beginning I wasn't quite sure whether I really defeated an enemy since the empty health bar kept moving: ezgif-2-90e7d29e9a55.gif
(just ignore that I'm dying in this gif, I just wanted to show what happens with the enemy's health bar)
But it didn't attack any more, so it just seems to be a little visual problem.
Also, it would have been nice if the to do list had told me to go to the exit ;)
All in all, I really enjoyed it. Great entry!
Quite challenging but fun! The walrus is really terrifying haha. Took me a few tries till I finally managed to rescue some eggs. (Don't ask why but at first I tried a bit too long to jump on top of the higher hexagons only to finally realize that it's not possible and that there's no need to since the eggs are located on the lower ones lol)
Really addictive gameplay!
Screenshot (1728).png
Oh, wow! Really loving the art and all the details! I was a bit overwhelmed at first but playing around a bit more took care of that. I had a blast playig this! Great work!
Oooh, this is so cute :D I reached the door in 22 seconds (after my ... fourth? fifth? try). Also, I really love the art style!
Really cool game. It took me a few tries to get the hang of the controls but then I really had a blast playing this. Great job!
Fun game! Quite challenging, since stacking newer pieces on top of the older ones can mess up what was already contructed (which I really like!).
Great entry :)
Thank you for the feedback @lucas-thomaz, @hayart, @whysguy52, and @jan5366!
Yeah, I'll definitely rework the controls (🤣) and balancing.
Using the mouse for direction is a great idea! It was a bit too late when I saw how small the UI turned out; will also be changed :)
Thanks for the feedback @ache-games and @pnikav!
I added an updated version to my itch.io page which should take care of the worst problems with movement and balancing. As of right now, I've added it as an additional version for download and kept the original for the WebGL build (since I'm not quite sure whether these changes are allowed for the jam).
Thank you very much for the feedback @javicoder :)
Thank you @celulo :)
Thank you @vladlawrence :D
Thanks @chesschaser
Oooh, love it!
Probably gave may more speeches than was necessary bc I really wanted to hear which nonsensical voice line would be next haha. My favourite was "Lorem ipsum" bc that's the one that made me go "Wait. What did he just say? Did I hear that right?"
Yeah, I agree with the others. The use of pheromones to tell the units where to go is great!
Lost the first time because I only had soldiers and naturally I ran out of sap to get more units. But that was my own fault for not reading before playing haha
Once I knew what to do I cleared all three levels. Feels very polished! And I was very happy to see an RTS here :)
New fear unlocked haha. Very cool idea!
yaay Screenshot 2024-10-07 195524.png
and holy shit, in 48 hours? howwwww
Some ducks may or may not have decided to learn how to swim. Or to dive. And some chose the pancake life, I guess. I was devastated. Especially with mama duck just watching. Or leading them right to the sewer drain.
I suspect that many kids were stressing her out and she was just waiting for an opportunity 🤔🤔🤔
I'm on to you, mama duck!
No, but seriously, this was great! Could not get enough of those quack sounds and was just feeding them to hear them make some more noise haha. And I was quite happy that the cars would not try to flatten me, as well. They just had it out for the ducks (I suspect they may be in cahoots with mama duck).
I also really liked the look of the player character. Made this look like this was some serious official business haha.
I had a lot of fun! Great entry :D
Cute <3
I had a bit of a slow start because I didn't know how to feed them berries at first but after taking a quick look at the video on your itch page I knew what I had to do ^^°
Seeing the first kids made me go "aww" because of how cute they are.
helping.png
It was also really fun seeing the others zoom around after assigning them their tasks. They were really helpful gathering wood and feeding the others! Thanks to them, increasing the population number from 15 to 30 happened really fast.
thirty.png
Would be really cool to see this project be developed some more after the jam because what's there is really great and a good foundation for something bigger :)
Oooh, this is really delightful <3
I really like the way the instructions are being shown. Would've been cool if there was a toggle to switch between showing and hiding them. You know, for screenshotting reasons etc
Really nice (and detailed!) pixel art <3 I was somehow reminded of the old Sims 1 games, which I really liked. Ah, sweet nostalgia haha
I can totally see this being further expanded on.
Really lovely take on the theme :)
Really loved it! Enjoyed the humor :)
I played it twice because I somehow forgot about the recipe during my first playthrough and I really wanted to read the whole thing haha
pet_this.png
This immediately makes it a 10/10 experience for me. If there's something to pet I'm happy.
Also this
pocketing.png made me feel so called out for the way I play games haha. But what if I neeeeeed it? ~~and I did! See?!~~
Nice story and the music and sounds really enhance the whole experience!
Great work!
Holy shit, this is amazing! The music really sets the mood and I absolutely loved seeing the changes on the left side depending on what choices I made.
I played long enough to get all endings. I struggled a bit with getting "Offsprings" and "Usurper" because I was a bit unlucky in that those playthroughs took a bit too long so I would end up with the "Throne" ending a bit too often haha. I knew what choices I had to make but I also had to get these playthroughs to last long enough in order to get those choices or I'd end up meddling a bit too much and ending up with "World End".
"Elysium" was my favourite by far!
Loved this game so much :D
Nightmarish guy whacking spiders and eating creatures? (Or is it the other way round haha) Hell yeah, I'm in!
I always saw your blog posts on the feed and was very interested in seeing how this project would turn out.
Really unsettling music. But fitting!
No idea what was going on lol but it sure is a vibe!
I hope you continue working on this.
Hutfrosch joined in on the fun :)
Screenshot 2024-10-13 000120.png
Totally forgot to take a screenshot of the stats but let's just say that I went for a lot of atk, a good amount of swarm and some range.
Very cool idea to have other people's creatures fight each other!
Wow, amazing art! And those Morgis sure are cute! No, seriously, if plushies existed that would be the ruin of me haha
Potato puns were on point! And is this a LotR reference that I saw: lotr.png
Cute and funny story with some nice minigames and I feel like I've also learned something :) (Potato song gets a 10/10 from me lol)
btw spotted a tiny error:
Screenshot 2024-10-08 173436.png
Woooah, that's really impressive! And incredibly polished. Also, I could listen to the music all day.
For some reason the opening cutscene wouldn't play in the web build (I'm using Firefox btw). It just looks like this:
2024-10-0900-22-06-ezgif.com-crop.gif
The rest of the game works though.
I also downloaded it afterwards bc I was really curious what the cutscene would actually be like. It did not disappoint!
Just came back here to say that I'm having way too much fun with popsicle mode atm. It's infuriating af but like in a fun way haha.
Haven't managed to find the right strategy yet and most of the time I'm just happy if I manage to get more than 2k points lol
This is the best I managed thus far ~~and I just happened to be really lucky that time~~ Screenshot 2024-10-25 000426.png
Music is a bop! Even after playing I still catch myself whispering "ants!" every now and then.
Had to laugh when the first letter was shown.
~~and I sure am glad that I recently got a new keyboard or this would have unlocked a new fear haha~~
Really cool entry!
Though time goes on, people somehow stay the same. Those in power making others feel smaller than they are. And the powerless trying to make the best of their situation but still fully aware of the realities of their lives.
One person's story is but a tiny speck when compared to the history of whole civilizations in all of time.
You have a way with words. Making me step into those different people's shoes and sharing their helplessness.
Your game gave me a lot to think about. Thank you!
I sure did not see that ending coming haha
Great work!
A long time ago I had some pet shrimp. So, naturally I had to check this out. Bouncing around, doing flips and - what I really liked and which made it pretty chill - not getting damaged by the other creatures was a lot of fun.
Had some tiny problems with the controls every once in a while but it would always sort itself out again, so I could immediately go back to straight up vibing
Music is pretty funky :D
Woaah, that's some impressive level of polish! And those "boink"s are sending meeee
I'd definitely tweak the mouse sensibility. It'd sometimes take a long time till the player character was finally in the right position.
It took some time till I remembered which animal would do what and how to control their abilities. Since their pictures are shown on the left side anyways, maybe some symbols could be added next to their pictures. Maybe sth a bit like this? Just some quick scribbles I did in Paint
control_scheme_ideas.png
There could be a toggle to show/hide this. Sorry, just brainstorming a bit haha
All in all, a really cool project!
Wow, this feels really really polished!
Amazing art (the bat is soo cute <3), great music and very fun (and quite challenging) gameplay.
It feels so satisfying gathering many different groups at the same time and seeing the groups grow bigger and bigger :D
Love that the path they would take is visible bc that really helps trying to decide where to send them and maybe even gather some more creatures while going to their destination.
This was a very relaxing experience which I appreciate very much! Not everything has to be competitive; sometimes, I just prefer to chill haha
By the way, those creature designs are seriously cute <3
Great work!
Incredible! Really polished entry with great art, really good music and well implemented mechanics!
Would have loved if there was an end goal (maybe gathering an army strong enough to take back the rat king's territory or sth). But it's somehow incredibly relaxing just gathering a bigger and bigger army of rats, vibing to the music and seeing my rats just absolutely demolishing everything that got in their way once I had gathered enough of them.
btw it's possible to gather way more than 100 rats
Screenshot 2024-10-08 150308.png
Wooah, this is great!
Love the graphics! And great use of a parallax background. It really helps making it feel like there's so much more down there to explore.
At first, the music felt like something I'd associate a bit more with space but at second thought, I think it really fits! Like ... deep sea and space exploration with those huge uncharted territories feel similar enough and kind of give off similar vibes??? idk kind of hard to explain.
Anyways, the music makes it feel like this is an adventure with so much wonderous stuff just waiting to be discovered. And when the music suddenly cuts off when this huge tonal shift happens and there's only those ambient sounds left and everything feels so unsettling all of a sudden? Really fits to show how this adventure turned into a nightmare.
Great storytelling!
Congrats on these great results!
snail.png
This feels so good to play!
I rolled around a bit more than was necessary simply because the animation is so cute haha
Also: in two days??? How?! This feels so polished!
Holy shit, what a massacre haha.
Starting the game, I burst out laughing seeing the piranha. Big boy is not messing around (and that anchor tattoo is the cherry on top)!
Btw the spin may not do much atm but is sure does look great!
As for reloading, yeah, I might have preferred just being able to quickly press a button. If you want to keep the spin animation on right click, maybe there is a way to use the mouse wheel for reloading? idk that way you could still keep just having mouse inputs.
Definitely had a lot of fun with this!
Died a lot at first but that was entirely due to having to get back into playing snakelikes haha
Soo, I beat the game twice.
The first time I chose to clear the right side first (as intended, I guess), enter the gnome-looking monster's mouth, watched my ATK fall down to 1, and then cleared the left side till I got to the big guy.
The second time, I took a different approach. Since I knew - thanks to my ATK falling to 1 during the first finished run - that there were enough Dougs on the other side to beat the big one, I immediately went over there completely ignoring the right side of the map. Since Doug is still small enough, he could easily get over there without being stuck. It worked. Sooo, yeah, that's how I beat it the second time.
Screenshot 2024-10-11 205740.png (that's from the second successfull run)
Since I really loved the music (which is very appropriate for spooky season), I really did not mind spending a bit more time on this at all :)
The voice acting was great, as well!
Screenshot 2024-10-11 204957.png I had a lot of fun <3
I don't need much gameplay. This, right here, is where it's at! One of the most interesting entries I've "played". By far.
I don't know if it was intended (I mean, it sure would fit narratively) but there were times when the music (which I really liked btw) would start to drown out the narrator.
Very interesting take on the theme!
Really great puzzles that get progressively harder. At the moment I'm stuck on the one where you only build have a bridge. I'll get back to it later; I simply *have* to finish this haha
Also what do you mean "only 10 levels"???? That's a lot for a jam game, especially for a puzzle game! This is seriously good work!
Hooooly shit. I was eagerly anticipating this (loved seeing the blog posts on the feed!) and it sure did not disappoint!
Graphics, gameplay, music. On point!
Loved seeing the different ways the ~~gnomes~~ would try to disrupt the show. Cable muncher sure is my nemesis!
I did not expect to have this much fun bc I totally suck at these types of games. But this is sooo good.
This point right here is where I was struggling the most. I lost count of how many times I fell down at this spot, always screaming "Noooooo". Bc then I'd have to see the little guy bounce and bounce and bounce. Poor guy is probably concussed as hell.
Screenshot 2024-10-10 233559.png
I finally decided to enable cheats and managed to escape:
Screenshot 2024-10-10 235705.png
I'll give it another try later bc I really want to beat the game without using cheats. Plus I get to listen to the music again which I probably wouldn't even get tired of after listening to it the whole day.
Took me a bit till I got the hang of the controls, especially the bit where you click on the arrow to change the direction. Needed a few tries till I finally understood that this was what I had to do. Maybe I'm just too tired rn haha
Very unique take on the theme!
Screenshot 2024-10-10 203725.png
Got 'em, yaay :)
I have never thought before that I'd call a blocky platformer cozy but thanks to those seriously cute critters in combination with that nice colour palette and the chill music this somehow managed to tick all my coziness boxes haha
The controls were great and I really appreciate the way you managed to incorporate the instructions how to use all the mechanics.
That's some seriously good work and I can totally imagine this being expanded on later some time.
Oooh, I love this type of game. They are always a good way to relax for me which is why I appreciate that there is no way to fail here.
Also really love that it's a team cooperation with your daughter. Her bug designs are awesome <3
Some chill music or just some nature sounds would have been a nice addition :)
Struggled a bit at first because I kept losing guards to the mafia. Changed my strategy to trying to get as much money and as many new recruits as possible to be able to hire some new guards every second day when I knew the mafia would show up again.
I might have hired too many people
Screenshot 2024-10-20 225334.png
oops haha
Art and music are great and as much as I dreaded being visited by the mafia again, I really liked their theme song :)
_________ Also nice song for the credits
Screenshot 2024-10-20 225345.png
I see what you did there lol, great idea!
Very chill!
At first I thought I did something wrong because some of the pop-ups wouldn't disappear although I thought I connected the right tiles (and production would start). But I just saw that it's a known issue.
It's not the type of game I usually play but since trying out different stuff is part of the jam experience (at least it is for me) I really have to say that your game does a really good job of convincing me to give these types of games a chance more often! I really underestimated how relaxing this could be and how satisfying it is to see the results of connecting the right types of tiles.
I can definitely see this being expanded on in the future with different goals the player could try to meet and some challenges they would have to face using stuff like the towns and roads you've mentioned in the description.
Great work!
Pure chaos, I love it. Sometimes, I wasn't sure what I wanted to pay attention to the most: the chat, the commentary pushing the main screen aside, the ads? There's so much to see (and to listen to!)
The buzz sounds were hilarious and yes, this game really does feel like one of those shows haha
Cool concept! But yeah, I agree with the others that it's a bit short and easy and since there are so many potions the player doesn't really feel the pressure.
At the moment, these two parts of the levels can easily be ignored because the player doesn't need these potions to still be able to progress.
Screenshot 2024-10-15 195547.png Screenshot 2024-10-15 195633.png
You could remove some of the ones that are easier to reach (e.g. the ones that are unavoidable) to force players to make these detours. And more needed detours coupled with a shorter amount of potions could result in more pressure.
The art and music are awesome btw :D
Third try and I finally won, yay :) Screenshot 2024-10-12 195151.png
First try there was only one gem left but then the ants got me. Second try I dug through so much of the planet that all the ants were right in the middle. I made a wrong move and then they got me. All of them
This game feels so satisfying to play. Don't know how else to describe it. Great colour palette, chill music. I had fun :)
@umnatz @vlad-russu @local-minimum @laurynas @tuism Thank you all so much <3
Thank you all so much for playing. I know it's a heavy subject matter and I really, really wanted to do it justice. I want to thank you all for your kind words! This means a lot to me :)
Sending positive vibes to all of you <3
___
And no worries, I know that not everyone is in the mood for a vn filled with depressive feels especially after crunching for a whole weekend ^^°
___
@satless Can I ask which endings you got? I could tell you how to get to the one that's left if you want me to
___
I intend to write a blog post (might even do a whole postmortem - although it feels a bit weird to call it that considering the story of my vn) in which I want to talk a bit about the decisions I made regarding the choices and the endings etc
Thank you all for the kind feedback <3 <3 <3
@furano Your comment just made me check it out on my phone
I did not expect it to work as well as it does, holy shit
I used Ren'Py :)
First of all: Thank you all so much for your feedback <3
I thought maybe some of you might be interested in my thought process regarding choices and endings (I also mention how to get to every ending), so I wrote a little blog post:
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/56/are-you-listening/$405370
I don't even know what to say. I love everything about this.
How did you manage to make this much in such a polished state in that short amount of time?
Amazing. Just amazing.
The best I managed so far:
Screenshot 2024-10-07 202640.png
Had the best results when I started out gathering bigger groups and trying to get them out while moving the mouse slowly. Move too fast and ants get left behind. Group too big and you can't get them around the corners.
Really cool idea! Now let's see if I can get a better result haha
One of my favourite entries. The art is absolutely beautiful! And the music makes it all feel really magical.
The hidden room posed quite a challenge bc the spirit was very fast sometimes.
Really liked that the witch has a comment about playing it again. (If I had the choice between giving her a call or climbing the tower again solving puzzles, I'd choose the tower. Without hesitation!)
Yessss, cats! <3
Took me a few tries till I got the hang of it. Somehow, I did not see realise at first that the option to get back some health exists haha
Sometimes, my gun would disappear and the build menu would open while there were still enemies on the field:
Screenshot 2024-10-25 002711.png
Fun thing that happened: My cat heard the "meow" sounds and decided to join in. Felt like there was meowing everywhere lol
Gameplay was really fun once I knew what I had to do and was able to get some of the better towers.
Well done!
Screenshot 2024-10-25 002919.png
Screenshot 2024-10-08 213311.png
Really cool! Died a few times at first but then it clicked for me and I had a lot of fun. My winning strategy consisted of gathering enough "Block" so that Not-So-Tiny-Slime would never be able to hurt me anymore. The downside was not having a lot of attacking power ^^°
Of course, I also had to try 1000HP mode. At I think it was the halfway point I thought that it sure would be nice if there was a way to speed things up a bit. At least in that mode.
Cool entry!
Really fun to play and the different maps are great.
I didn't realise at first that I would get a game over when colliding with one of the remaining ants so imagine my surprise when one of them got me from behind haha
Might be cool to add the time it takes to clear a map or the number of shots that were needed. That way there'd be something like an additional goal for players.
Nice work! And I really liked your voiceovers.
Here's my result:
Screenshot 2024-10-08 232441.png
And I think what @mitsukoy meant was that it was supposed to be "insect" ;)
Would have been cool if the last voiceover would also have been accompanied by subtitles.
All in all, a different take on the theme that I really enjoyed!
Really cute artwork. Seeing the blood splatter on the walls was also quite funny. It took me a few tries till I got the timing for hitting right.
After I think it was the third (?) round there was a night with no mosquitos after which the game crashed for me Screenshot 2024-10-08 153224.png
I use Firefox btw
This looks sooo good! The crumpled paper look is fantastic. The music is great, as well :D
Zooming around with the grappling hook is so much fun, especially when you really get into the flow (and I really love grappling hooks!).
But holy shit, some of those bees seem to have a serious grudge. Like ... as long as I'm moving around fast and am lucky enough it's okay but once I slow down a bit or run out of luck and they start swarming me it can be really hard to get back into it once they start knocking my poor frog around.
~~I may or may not have let out some really undignified "nooooo"s when they knocked me around a bit too much and my frog fell right into the water haha~~
All in all, a really cool entry! Well done!
Hammering feels so satisfying. I found myself hammering to the beat during the briefings bc I liked to use it so much haha
I somehow missed the explanation at first and lost the company tons of money, oops. But after paying a bit more attention I finally beat the game. Humor was on point btw :D
Cute style and very fun to play :)
This is so cute!
Love the designs and the atmosphere! (Seriously, art + music + autumn theme = cozy vibes <3)
Jumping on the the branches and seeing them swaying up and down is soooo satisfying. Meeting the other workers and seeing what they are up to was also great and seriously helped in making it feel like the player character isn't so alone.
Well done!
Did not expect that scream haha. Star of the game indeed!
Cool concept! ~~(I see pirate game, I'm in haha)~~
Collected some stuff and got to the end of the jam version :)
Screenshot 2024-10-19 230818.png
Screenshot 2024-10-19 231137.png
Ship travel mostly feels good. Steering the ship in tight spaces can be a bit tricky sometimes. I tried reducing the speed at first but then it would take me a tad too long to get away from reefs. (I got to see the bottom of the ocean a lot haha)
Surprisingly, I got the best results when I tried maneuvering at full speed. Still a bit tricky but I managed to get to the end.
I'm looking forward to this project's future :) ~~(Gimme all the pirate games)~~
Meanwhile, this concept is something you can definitely be proud of!
What a cute little chameleon! And yeah, I agree: Simple is always good when it comes to jams. Although it's not so simple anymore once the flies get there faster and faster haha
Great entry!
41 is the most I managed thus far.
This feels so good to play. Like ... the atmosphere is amazing and the angel designs are so perfectly unnerving.
At first, I was trying out how far up I can manage to stack them but those "constructions" were really unstable, of course. So, I tried a different approach after that and tried to build a somewhat stable foundation, at first. Not always possible (e.g. when luck is not on my side and I get tons of the round ones haha).
Feels great when the angel tower slowly starts to topple over but then you get some good ones that somehow manage to balance it back. Especially when they also start to hold on to each other.
Great work!
Edit: A day later and I got up to 60. Slowly getting there haha
Interesting idea! And it really fits the theme.
Unfortunately, controlling the character was a bit hard and the camera behaved a bit weird.
I also had a slight problem with people being stuck under the tables
Screenshot 2024-10-25 175457.png
All in all, a solid idea that just needs a little more polish :)
Really cool!
Wanted to check out the controls at first but then I saw that you advise not to. So I went in blind and yep, it really adds to the fun trying to find out what movement mechanics every monster has.
Game feels pretty polished! Would love to see more levels :)
Incredible entry! Artwork is really charming. Sound design is great as well.
Didn't have too many problems playing the minigames. Took me two times or so to get the fishing and the jumping ones right. What I struggled with was the word guessing game. I played the game for all three endings (and eventually got every one of them) and during those runs I got the word guessing game right only once. (Have to admit that I got it wrong on purpose when I tried to act too suspicios in order to get the ending in which you get arrested.)
Some of those customers came back a lot. Shady guy isn't the only suspicious one haha
Had a lot of fun! <3
Oooh, really cool entry.
The music coupled with those insect noises created a really unnerving atmosphere and the modified dolls were delightfully creepy!
Was about to ask about the attic but I just saw in the comments that it's due to a bug.
One small thing that I only noticed bc I was running around the house after being stuck in the attic and bc I feared that I had missed something in order to progress:
What I imagine is supposed to be Betsy's first line after returning to the dollhouse isn't triggered when it's supposed to. I only noticed bc I went all the way back to the beginning after being stuck upstairs.
I started the game again to record what I mean:
2024-10-1017-02-56-ezgif.com-video-to-gif-converter.gif
If I immediately go forward (and I imagine that's what most people do when playing) Betsy's lines won't appear.
All in all, I really liked your entry. And it's perfect for spooky season <3
I love this so much! Who would have ever thought that a comma could be cute? Well, it is! Very much so, especially in combination with the sounds it makes.
Humor was on point! The phrases you used really showcased what can happen to their meaning if there's a comma missing. What was that saying again? Commas can save lives haha :)
Encountered the dialogue bug at first, as well but then I saw that you mentioned how to get out of it.
Really wholesome game with nice artwork (I absolutely love 1bit pixel art)! The dancing animation at the end was soo cute <3
Really funny take on the theme!
Took me a bit till I got the hang of the controls. But when it finally clicked for me, I really had fun (turns out what really makes a girl happy is being able to swat planes out of the sky haha).
After getting a game over, the game crashed for me. Played the web build using Firefox btw
YESSSS!

Really love that it's random letters instead of words that have to be typed. Funny, how much harder this is.
~~just please don't ask how many times I had to restart haha turns out i suck at typing~~
The state of the house and the toys in combination with the music hinted at there being something more going on. The unsettling atmosphere created by the music made think about it being something horror-related tbh and the whole time I was sitting there thinking "is this a horror game?" but then the twist happens and it hit me right in the feels ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Well done!
Ah, the age old question "would you still love me if i was a worm" but with a twist :D
I really enjoyed your incredibly charming and really wholesome take on this <3
Aww, they are soo cute <3
I always felt a little bad about nudging them awake because they would fall over ~~(and make those cute noises)~~.
Some of them would sometimes get in the way of the others but fortunately, carefully pushing them away took care of that.
The monument at the end is such a sweet gesture :D
It's such an adorable entry!
Every time Jib turned up, I was like: Oh, it's this guy one. Let me tell you, I was cackling when those two things happened:

Also, flicking them over to the planets immediately followed by that laugh was sendiiiing me.
This is such a cool project!
Gorgeous art! The sound design is seriously amazing, as well. Really atmospheric ~~(I hope that's the right word)~~ and some of the sounds of the insects were creeping me out.
Had a bit of a "nope" moment at the end bc I'm afraid of spiders :cold_sweat:
Really cool entry!
Finally got around to playing this. And holy shit is this great!
Amazing designs (I love this duo soo much) and animation, really polished gameplay and the music is so hype!
One of my favourite entries!
