Yes! That's what I love in ludum dare games: beautiful original and evocative little things. We made a [little interactive story](https://chocolat-endive.itch.io/wellofpast) for this event years ago, but it was really not as good as yours.
The art is magnificient, and the story is really nice. Who does'nt sheep, wool and flute? By the way, since you've opted out of the audio category, I guess that's because you used some external assets for the music. Do you mind sharing where you found the flute recordings?

Lovely job on the art. I was not sure which choice would do what, and the character insults could be varied if you want the characters to seem smarter, however I think the pleasant nature of the story works even without full knowledge of the character decisions. I like how the layers of story unfold and the introduction of talking characters to contrast with the abstract fluffy fields.

I wanted to check out the game because the title and art caught my attention. I am familiar with this ballad as it's originating from my country. It's super cool to see some Romanian representation, very unique and fun take on the theme.

Музыка также потрясающая, она дополняет атмосферу и создает неповторимое ощущение погружения. Сюжетная линия проста, но очень трогательная. Она действительно задевает за живое и заставляет задуматься о важных вещах. Мне особенно понравилось, как плавно развиваются персонажи и как каждый из них добавляет свой штрих в общую картину. Это отличный пример того, как можно создать что-то красивое и запоминающееся за короткое время.

I love, love, love the visuals. That said, the sheep could use a slight more clarity versus the other strokes of your scenery especially in that ending scene.
I did finally play that other ending, and that really does more directly allude to that story you based this off from. It's kind of bittersweet. Thank you for making this game. :)

I'm not a big fan of visual novels, but this game is very beautiful, warm and pleasant. Feels like hot pastries or tea with honey. Technically everything works great, in terms of the plot everything is simple. A simple short story, nothing more. Good job and stay safe!

Very interesting and cute drawing, you did a great job.
Very creative, especially the images. The ending with the letter is a surprise twist, and a nice bit of poetry. The sound-track adds to the ambiance. A solid entry.

i liked everything, my only comment would be that the characters' names look a bit out of place cause there are only first letters (to me it reminds of James Bond a bit :D). It would probably feel more natural to have full names or some other descriptions of the characters. but maybe it was the same in the original story?

I would like to answer your question about names. the original story doesn't have them. and instead of names, nationalities are used, so we left out the first letters of the names of nationalities in order to avoid any negative colors. after all, this is a game and a story more about the philosophical perception of inevitable death than about the fact that some countries or people living in them are bad and envious
