LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Chanterune by Kerdelos 2024-10-14T20:25:43Z

this game is phenomenal! i like the the art stule, both cute and mysterious, the mechanics of the puzzles, how much they differ and the more you explore the more you know about the world :) and the starting sequence when you have to fall down to proceed with the magical teleport stone was soo good! my only comment is that for me as a casual player it was a bit hard to remember the music sequence :D i concentrated too hard on planning my way through the game and couldn't think of the patterns at the same time. maybe it could be one button for a melody that you learned? or maybe less symbols for each of them? or maybe some effects could be a bit longer so that you don't panic (like me :D) that you should hurry and make mistakes in the melodies just learned. this game definitely needs you to be in no rush and have enough time to wander through the platform maze. and i am actually glad that it does that :) i will definitely give it one more try as i want to reach the ending!

LD56 - Serpent Surge by rayriver 2024-10-08T17:56:25Z

Nice game! My best length is 2300 :) Almost run out of upgrades :D

a Tiny Working Day by Alexis Roca 2024-10-09T20:26:09Z

oh my, how cute are these little guys! actually i don't need any game, i can just look at them and get my daily portion of cuteness :D you did such a great job with visuals, that's 10 out of 10 for sure :)

the gameplay was simple and satisfying, i probably only wish for a short in game tutorial that would explain how i start playing :D and maybe it would be fun to make the required buttons more random, so that you should't click the same ones for each room :) and i think the game would be soo awesome with the sounds and music!

Watch your step by asfdfdfd 2024-10-08T20:20:16Z

Nice idea! It got a little bit laggy after some time and also a few times I stepped on the humans by accident because it was really hard to see if I put my foot in the correct position. Good game!

Fry Quest by Togis 2024-10-12T21:57:16Z

my favorite Beligian fries! this is such an unexpected, but cool take on the theme :) a very nice game! i liked the style and the story, the characters were just adorable. the only couple of things that i wish for is maybe a shorter intro dialogue :D it would be cool to get into the action sooner and get some additional info about potatoes every time after you deal with the minigame, for example :)

i also got a bit distracted by the voice reactions like Oh YEEEAH! :D it was fun at first, but after some time got a bit too powerful, maybe... it would also be helpful to get a bit more guidance with the laser, as at first i thought that my game was frozen. and i must say that however the game is cute, it is a bit horrifying to know that our little sweet belgian potato is waiting to be eaten x)

very cool entry!

Love Dance by chispaLBC 2024-10-09T20:35:32Z

nice and simple! birds are adorable, and the poses you have to make are hilarious :D the sound directions is such a nice idea. i only wish that maybe there were some progression and harder levels, maybe some new mechanics where you could repeat the poses without voice hints or something like that :)

The Befitting Heights by kr4ft3r 2024-10-08T21:36:35Z

I liked how you portrayed these people and each of them seems so...alive. i only wish that my action could change something or maybe that i could get another portion of the story for each of the characters, as i was very invested while reading, but then the story ended so abruptly! that felt a bit harsh :) and the music started playing after i finished the story, was it intended?

Really enjoyed your game, great experience!

Oddball Assembly by Daniel Alhadeff 2024-10-19T21:56:11Z

Have no idea how you managed to do that in 48 ours alone. Very good take on factory game, like a satisfactory, but with physics! Can't image what work needs to be done to optimise this if this would be a big game Liked it, spend a lot of time in it, 11/10

Shrink & Slime by Xwilarg 2024-10-14T18:48:43Z

Such a nice idea! Reminded me of "Honey, I shrunk the kids" movie :)

I enjoyed the shrinking gun and the way you proceed through the levels. The design of the enemis was also very cool! I probably wish to have some sound effects as you interact with the objects though!

I was also not sure if you needed the slime to accompany you, maybe you could do all that just by yourself, both shrinking and defeating enemies :) And those huge rockets launching from the small launchbad after you shrank it looked a bit weird :D maybe the rockets could also become smaller?

Great job!

Tiny Trooper by Juutis 2024-10-08T11:48:58Z

Nice, polished game! The only problem that I had are the controls. Really hard to aim and in critical situations I managed to only run in circles. One more thought - maybe it would help if you could still see your soldier when it is behind something, like a outline or something like that. Otherwise good entry!

Bug Bazaar by Jared Saizdelamora 2024-10-09T19:10:49Z

Such a nice game! i like how meditative it is and it was also fun to explore new bugs and different mutations thez have. just a couple of points that i'd like to mention: - maybe i didn't get it, but i wish there was a reason to leave my bugs in a tank to take care of them. rightnow i am looking at them for a sec and sell them immediately. thus i didn't really use eat and poop mechanics :) - if the sell tab is open and a new bug appears in a tank, you have to click on 'sell' one more time to see the bug there. - the names of the bugs are just adorable! - i liked the idea of a tutorial poster, but maybe it would be better to have shorter instructions, so it would be easier to get yourself aquainted with them :) - it would be really fun to have an additional goal, like breed a certain type of a beetle or reach a certain amount of money.

had fun, earned 5000 $, my bugs worked quite hard in a breeding tank, thank you!

Certain Drough by lazarche 2024-10-08T21:30:43Z

My score was 771225 and I accidentally run into a boulder... Great idea, good game, thank you!

Every Corner by shp 2024-10-08T20:42:10Z

Great game! Level design and control are really well done! I think I even found a easter egg with strange coffee pack :)

First summer - a bee story by Chocolat-Endive 2024-10-09T19:53:26Z

wow that is so beautiful! i liked your game! first of all it feels nice just to travel around. the visual style is stunning and so cosy. i needed a bit of time to get used to the mechanics and understand how i actually should play, but that wasn't a problem :) i probably wish that there was more impact from the upgrades, or maybe that they changed the way my hive looks even more. the numbers also grow drastically, i think it would be cool to get a visually bigger hive once in a while :) the ways how you should move were also quite easy to grasp, as when you switch to "expensive" flowers there isn't much choice of which path you can choose, maybe have more options would be cool. i struggled a couple of times as i managed to visit a trader with high prices before i found all the low prices around. once i also couldn't trade after one trade attempt, though it seemed to me that i have the required items..attached a screenshot, cause maybe i missed something there: 74c18ab667ced7312e90a8432101e411.jpg

a couple of times i had to reach for the edge of the screen to get to the flowers, as i couldn't see them well, but have enough "fly powers" to go there :)

i also think that the ui was fine, it is just a lot happening simultaneously (deservedly so). it it was a bigger, not a game jam game, it would be probably nice for all ui elements and new tasks and abilities to be presented not at once, but one by one as the new game days start :)

all in all, it is such a complex game! i am impressed how you managed to do all that during the game jam.

Wrath by MadHumster 2024-10-08T20:15:59Z

Nice game and idea! My only wish is that lightning would also destroy houses and that debris would kill peasants.

Whisker Warrior by Taximan981 2024-10-08T12:30:15Z

I really liked this game! Sadly I gave up on my 4th try when I could not handle fast slugs with spiders. A few thoughts from my side: - Combat is great, but feels a little off. It seemed to me that I want more range for an attack or to see when enemy is attacking, to be able to dodge those. - Roll is really needed in this one!

Great work!

Nootopia by Haoro 2024-10-08T12:07:52Z

You cam up with interesting mechanic, nice little game. A few thoughts: - it is not always clear what the radius around foxes and scarecrows. - A part where there are a lot of balloons seems frustrating instead of challenging, because you can just pop the balloons and thats all.

Pixie Pilfer by Spaint 2024-10-08T21:02:31Z

Best game! Really liked it! Managed to steal all the items when only 30 second left. Only thing that was a little bit annoying - I could not understand what was stopping pixie from holding on to things. Really enjoyed it, thanks!

Tiny Dance Floor by Nija463 2024-10-08T20:30:34Z

I liked this combo of playing the drums and dashing here and there :D nice entry! it would be really nice if I could do both of these things simultaneously to listen to the music non-stop and keep everything going, it felt a bit sad to stop sometimes. I also managed to stay at the very border of one zone and listened to the whole music piece without getting any "damage". p.s. felt outer wilds vibes as soon as the game loaded :)

Paquito by PoutreLoutre 2024-10-08T13:02:05Z

That was something! Really liked it! At first I really struggled with understanding how to interact with things and what exactly I need to bring to the altar. For some reason I though that skull will attack me at some point :D But when i understood that I can grab items with mouse click I was immediately hooked! First I managed to find 3 items and was stuck again for some time until I realized that you can use keys too! I received a lot of emotions playing your game, really liked the exploration of the levels and this feel that time is running out. Plus main character is very pretty and really like the style! Some "How to play" is definitely needed. Really good work!

Relics Return - Point and Click Adventure by Cassreads 2024-10-12T21:28:56Z

this is so cool! i like the atmosphere of your game so much :) and the combination of street view and point and click adventure is so clever!

the characters were also adorable, i am actually intrigued and want to know more about them and their world now :D as for the gameplay, i find it to be quite cool that you don't have a map implemented. it only addts this feeling of adventure and exploration. i got a bit dizzy, however, while looking for the way out sometimes :D maybe it would be cool to have more "fixed" destinations as you choose your way. i also sometimes clicked on the dialogue options accidentally as i was waiting for the characters to stop speaking. maybe adding a possibility to skip dialogue with a click could make it a bit more comfortable!

a real gem, so glad to find your game :)

Ghostie Hunt by emozdemir 2024-10-09T18:21:43Z

such a cute game! i played the updated version. the atmosphere is both cozy and spooky, ane these little cookies are just adorable. i only wish maybe to have a mode with no timer, as i want to find all the little guys but miss one and then have to start all over again :) it would also be cool imo if the button for taking and dropping object was the same. had fun, thank you!

Solo Hamstering by purplexy 2024-10-12T20:43:59Z

the art is cool, the main hero is awesome, and your take on the theme is really interesting :) i only wish for some more complicated tasks and more minigames! hitting space is nice, would love to hit some other buttons too :D

Every Light Counts by BruceZoom 2024-10-09T21:33:46Z

amazing game! i love how simple it looks at first, but requires you to master your skills as you proceed :) i also enjoyed how failure wasn't actually a failure but the way to progress.

dark mode seemed a bit cheating for me, as without light i could go right through the frogs :D and i didn't use slowing down that much as the other ways to navigate seemed enough. and the atmosphere is so nice! i also found out how the torches work while playing and after that noticed that you mentioned it in the description. it is worth being a surprise imo, cause it gives you this 'aha!' moment :)

the only thing i could wish for is maybe a little hint where to search for the nests that are left as i found 13 of them and was a bit stuck looking for the rest! my favorite game so far, had lots of fun :)

upd - finally found all the nests! That was tough, I even recorded a video with question if path that I was trying to take was intended, but then I finally found hidden passage. Thanks for this game :) Also these nasty frogs have very long tongue.

Pip Follicles by Arthur Tang 2024-10-08T21:51:57Z

a very unique entry! i like how you travel paste these huge ears using a tiny trumpet, feels hilarious :D i only with probably that my actions could bring some difference and happiness to the poor guy, like that there was a goal to make a beautiful (or an ugly) haircut and there were some requirements or ways to measure it :) that would add even more fun imo!

Things that I Treasure by Gamayun.Games 2024-10-08T20:52:38Z

@avzgui thank youu! ohh I've looked up the game about oncle ernest, it looks so fun and cozy :)

Things that I Treasure by Gamayun.Games 2024-10-08T20:55:17Z

@sashunyar thank you! yeahh yellow bugs turned out to be a bit harder than other levels, we'll look into that :) sorry about the sounds, we forgot to mention in the tutorial that if you take a creature and then place it back on the table, the sound should stop. it's really helpful that you've mentioned that!

Things that I Treasure by Gamayun.Games 2024-10-08T21:03:17Z

@velvetlobster thank you so much for your feedback! i am happy that you liked it :) regarding the sounds — yeah we struggled a bit to tune it as it was pretty much before the deadline...will fix it later, hopefully :) as for the horns, there are two types of them are that very similar on purpose, maybe that was too harsh, especially for the second puzzle! sorry about that

Things that I Treasure by Gamayun.Games 2024-10-10T16:02:16Z

Hey @royur! Thanks for playing our game! To solve beetles puzzle you need to place beetles in the spots that will fit with the patterns on their backs. Patterns won't be repeated 1-1, but you will see that beetle fits there.

Tiny Terrors by MichaelShollaj 2024-10-12T21:08:17Z

fun game! i liked the swift attacks and lots of action here :) in my first run i summoned 4 ghosts at the start and couldn't summon any more until i died (that was level 18 or so). is this by design or is there any mechanics that i missed? i also wish to have a clearer indication of getting hit, maybe animation or so, as right now i can hear there is a sound, but you can miss it behind the music. and in my second run the music stopped around level 19. i also accidentally clicked on an upgrade while clicking on the enemies х) maybe giving a slight pause before you can click on an upgrade would be nice! overall everything was cool and neatly done :)

Mioritza by Evghenia 2024-10-12T22:16:32Z

what a beautiful and sad story! and the art is fantastic, makes you feel teleported to these pastoral lands. now i want to know more about the original ballad :)

i liked everything, my only comment would be that the characters' names look a bit out of place cause there are only first letters (to me it reminds of James Bond a bit :D). It would probably feel more natural to have full names or some other descriptions of the characters. but maybe it was the same in the original story?

had lots of fun, thank you!

Quackling Rescue by Laywelin 2024-10-09T20:47:26Z

a very nice game! ducky is just adorable :) i like how simple and engaging the gameplay is, and it was so nice that you added new obstacles as the game progressed. i only probably wish so that there was some harder obstacles in the end, like a monster who steals our ducklings and brings them back to where they were initially :) the ending was also super nice! it would be great to have some music for it, like a lullaby in the background. and i liked that the ending was an open one, looks like there can be part 2 :D

awesome entry!

Glowing in the dark by Libra_Nix 2024-10-12T20:51:19Z

your game looks astonishing! the art is beyond good, and the idea is also very nice. i also liked that you managed to create this feeling of being a small creature struggling for its freedom in a big dark world :) voice acting adds to this feeling, no doubt!

regarding to gameplay i felt that it was quite hard to deal with the first button as there a couple of mechanics are presented and it is super easy to lose your firefly and then you are forced to restart. maybe making this tutorial part less intense and giving a player a bit more time to get used to the controls would be helpful :)

had fun, o4en vse zdorovo poluchilos' :D

EX-TERMINATOR by steel465 2024-10-14T19:05:09Z

the atmosphere and the art style looks so nice! really captivating, great job :) a couple of things that i'd like to comment on: - 2 out of 3 times my character didn't get any damage; - 1 out of 3 times i had the grenade from the start; - the bugs push you constantly :D - the second bug (maybe third as well, not sure) sprite is located under your spray sprite, so it is hard to see them when they are near you; it would be so fun to have some background music! and some sound effects for start of a new wave; - sometimes there were so few bugs I got lonely :D - you can push the bugs and they stop attacking you and just float somewhere... - it would also be fun to have additional enemy types and more variations of your weapons :)

a nice entry, good cleaning technique! wish you best of luck with your games :)

Tiny Creatures by L1ew 2024-10-08T22:05:42Z

I really enjoyed the mechanics of searching a creature while listening to its sounds! Makes you anticipate the moment of meeting :D i would probably wish that it wasn't so easy to look through the map and see its other corner clearly, or that there were some other borders instead on the invisible walls :) and a bit of response as soon as you find a creature, like a small sound or visual effect would be also nice! but i can see the potential :)

The Great Dangling by magopian 2024-10-09T18:37:35Z

this game is so fun! and sound design makes everything 10 times funnier :) i would love to have more levels, especially with a bigger map and trickier ways to solve. i also think that it could be fun to find out what the chain should be on your own :) i tried to start random levels, but the for some reason the button did nothing for me :(

Happy Birthday Logan by imberny 2024-10-09T20:11:57Z

such a sad sweet game! i liked the ending so much, especially the way you get to it. so emotional <3 it was so great that you had the experience things yourself, and not everything was said out loud. the visuals are also captivating, and the guitar part was fun, so well implemented and so detailed. i managed to save a couple of chords and played them :D but i don't have enough patience to play a song haha the only thing that i felt was a bit odd is that the main gameplay and the guitar gameplay seem to be two different things at the moment, like i am playing two different games at the same time :) it would probably be cool to have something uniting them, maybe a guitar song playing after you finish the game...or something like that :)

i am touched, thank you for this experience!

Escape from Wonderland by ViJeMir 2024-10-12T21:43:49Z

such a cool looking game! i really liked your take on the theme, and the art attracts attention — the cover image immediately makes you want to play :)

i only wish that the gameplay was a bit more forgiving and gave you more control (or at least a feeling of control :D ) on the game: at the beginning, for example, the camera moves too slow for you to see the enemy, but the enemy can already attack you. sometimes you jump to the platform and manage to stick to it, but it doesn't give you the ability to move on...maybe it would be cool to give the player some time to ajust to the controls and all mechanics, and give some room to make mistakes (like with jumping), but still proceed :)

wish you best of luck!

Beyond Fear by Arsmih24 2024-10-12T22:33:47Z

very atmospheric, eerie experience! you tell the story through colors and emotions, that is so beautiful. i just wish for the gameplay to be more dynamic :) maybe have some puzzles or additional minigames while we are sleeping? also at some point you start to notice where background tiles start and end. this isn't a problem, but attracts attention a bit :)

would be so cool to have more nightmare journeys with various phobias :)

Warm worm by Yup1_X0dUs 2024-10-12T20:35:05Z

Lampyridae by Taralunga Victor 2024-10-08T21:13:28Z

such a cute short game! i liked the controls, it felt a bit unusual and fun to go through the labyrinth. i wish that there were maybe some indication of how much I need to collect to finish the level or how much I have already been collected, just to add a clearer goal to my journey :) and maybe some sound effects as I pick up something/get hit by a bee/move to the next level would be also helpful! just to feel a bit more of response :)

A Little Garden Prank by plasticsword 2024-10-08T20:46:49Z

a fun experience! i like how simple the mechanics are and the overall style, so cute and minimalistic.

i was not sure why i needed two different types of punch, do they do the same thing and reach the same spot? i also wish that Jon was a bit slower or didn't reach me that fast, so that i could enjoy my pranking time a bit longer :D

LD59 — Signal

Pharos by Chaseplays 2026-04-25T20:49:45Z

what a nice entry! i like how you created a calming atmosphere having in mind the amount of monsters there :D i would probably prefer that there was some penalty for the attacked or briken boat (or there is one?) i sometines took two boats together and we were going together for a treasure, as it was easier haha, or i just used one boat and collected all treasures with it. but i cannot say that this made the experience less engaging :) i also believe that if there was some extra info aboout the treasures that would be super fun! maybe i could see them on the ending screen or something like that. maybe there would be a super rich lighthouse keeper sitting somewhere :D

a cool game and the music is so smooth! i am still listening to it while writing a review :)

dearest friend by Aurel300 2026-04-26T11:19:51Z

the style is so unique i like how it is a bit unsettling but you don't feel uncomfortable, just maybe sorry that everything happened the way it happened. i love how symbolic your game is, and the voiceover is stunning. i probably didn't expect the way the game would follow, as at the beginning i thought it would be a song of the lost friendship, but in the end it was more of a letter full of worries about a lost friend ("lost" in a couple of meanings!)

i would probably also wish to scroll up the story once it finished, but it may be just a specific wish of mine :D

the game where you had to eliminate all the shadows was a bit unexpected and pretty cool to find. i think that maybe some extra interactable pieces would be cool! or maybe you could not only click, but also drag some elements or interact in some more complicated ways.

great job!!

p.s. as a big fan of playing (and making hehe) narrative games, i was very happy to find your entry :)

In the Crib by ruthiepee 2026-04-26T10:51:23Z

addas.jpg haha! probably being a new mom helped me find a solution :D the voiceover is adorable and, though i am not sure if i clearly see a "signal" theme here, i definitely had fun! a bit chaotic, a bit random, super easy and 100% enjoyable :)

wishing you luck with game design, parenting and a combo of both!!

Pyre Lookout by outstar 2026-04-23T21:10:47Z

great job! i was greatly invested in the story and you've created really unique characters. the bureucracy while everything is on fire is top-notch :) frankly speaking, i think the game would be even better if it was not sometimes that similar to disco elysium but was its own thing — i believe that you are 100% capable of creating something unique it it could look even cooler! i had fun, thank you :)

Mixed Signals by ChelDav 2026-04-25T20:38:36Z

hello to a fellow Twine developer!

i think your game has a solid base! it was definitely intriguing to learn about the contestants.

few notes about the gameplay: - i would probably start with some shorter pieces of text (meaning contestants' descriptions) just to make the player get more immersed at first. like right now you don't know anything about the characters yet but you are expected to read their whole bios already. maybe they can answer some questions and you would learn some info through the dialogues? - at the beginning i was not sure who is answering the questions, them or me :D i would maybe state that so there was no option to get confused! - i believe it would be aswesome to have some extra challenge or criteria that would help you choose among the contestants. maybe you could define your own character first? or maybe there could be some situations that you discuss together? everyone is asked about their favorite movies , for example, you answer first and the characters give their answers after hearing yours. it would be really cool to have some communication and dynamic between the main hero and the characters!

overall i think it would be a nice dating sim :) wishing you all the best!

Cadence of Glob by Orjan 2026-04-21T20:34:02Z

great game! the dialogues were fun and i especially liked space facts <3 giving a ball as a present was such a sweet moment aww i probably wish that the subtitles were easier to read, as I sometimes clicked to see the whole passage and then could accidentaly miss some parts :( i would also be happy to see my score or some combo info while okaying the rhythm parts. much fun much aliens!!

btw do you have itch.io?

A L P H A by eXTeeGi 2026-04-27T21:26:02Z

what great entry! I managed to decode the message, being a bit annoyed that the messengers do not care much about me and send the messages with the letters I already know instead of using the new ones :D stangely the world that took me the longes was (spoilers) "s*****s" — for some reason I couldn't see it at first. but it was very understanding of them to wait for me until I decoded the message haha. I expected the game would end if I didn't do it before the last message ends!

the atmosphere is simply incredible, especially these small sound and visual effects, they really got me a couple of times! i am impressed how you achieved it without even showing any antagonist. and the theme implementation is just spot on. thank you for the experience!

Bird Man Signal by Kobato Games 2026-04-21T20:06:50Z

hi! great to see another twine submission at this jam :) i liked the way you interpreted the theme, and the clones were fun to listen to. i haven't watched Birdman, were you inspired be that movie? i probably wish that there were a bit more gameplay in the second part of the game, but overall it was nice.

Bird Man Signal by Kobato Games 2026-04-21T21:04:41Z

@kobato-games haha I thought it was a mix of two! a fun coincidence :)

Melting Sun by JustCore 2026-04-23T21:22:04Z

great interpretation of the theme! i really would like to learn about what is happening on this planet (is it Earth?) and what difference the data i send makes. maybe i could change the way everything goes by sabotaging it?? but the ending as it is was neatly done. the atmosphere created was quite convincing! i felt like it got 1 degree hotter un the room :D

We're Breaking Up by RobotChimp 2026-04-21T21:25:38Z

such chaotic. much wow! my dog got upset...i definitely need to replay! this is an incredible interpretation of the theme, very original. i especially like how the controls are easy to understand and hard to master :D the visuals are also top-notch! thank you for the experience :)

Nest, this is Pilgrim by Nozomu57 2026-04-21T08:47:18Z

Loved it! Design, art, puzzles, everything. Very nice vfx touch at the end! And also:

New Project.jpg

Twilight Bark by Capreola 2026-04-26T10:37:57Z

this is absolutely adorable! i spent some time just looking of the dogs instead of solving puzzles :D for some reason it was easier for me to just test different combinations of dogs than to plan them. maybe if their personality was shown not on the click but maybe somewhere on the right or left of the screen on hover that would be easier, otherwise it was a bit difficult for me to keep all the information in mind. but the very puzzle mechanics is top-notch!

i also got a bit stuck on "loose last word" trying to understand what is "loose" here :) if i understand correctly, that shoul be "loses"?

had fun, want to cuddle all these sweet dogs!! my cat might have some questions :D

Vice Signalling by Dogshroom 2026-04-26T10:14:09Z

a great entry! i absolutely love the art style and the atmosphere — feels like you are actually joining a secret society :D

the gesture system is also impressive — it is not too easy nor too difficult to get a grasp of. i would only probably wish that the signs would be a bit slower, maybe in the beginning of the game. i sometimes got a bit lost cause i tried to follow the dialogues and then missed the hand signals, so then i tried to look at hands and missed pieces of dialogue haha.

maybe there could be a tutorial that leads you through at the very beginning so that you got a good understanding of the system at once. i was at first not sure why i could read signals composed of two or three gestures but when it comes to me i showed only one gesture. thought maybe i did something wrong :) and i also wasn't sure about the ways to get differet endings. i've read in the description that it depends on your reputation with each cultist, but maybe i would prefer to have some possibility to act on my own in the ending as well.

a cool game and a great interpretation of the theme!

@flowerfield-games hi! I understand that text-based games are not everyone's cup of tea, so I really appreciate you giving it a try <3

yes, you can add graphic and audio, but I wanted to create a solely text-based game partly as a challenge for myself and partly because of limited time :) it is also my first Twine game, so I spent the majority of my time learning about variables and actually writing haha.

p.s. there is actually one graphic piece in the game that you can see if you reach the "true" ending!

@kobato-games thank you for playing <3 haha they are hidden like that so that you could grasp the whole of a story if you aim to pass the test :) the system is a bit broken, you're right :D

@averycheun9 thank you! I believe it could be better with some graphics, but it was some kind of a challenge for myself to make a game without them :) but i'll probably add some music and effects to a post-jam version!

@cat-value thanks! i wonder what art style you're talking about as 99% of the game is plain text :)

@aquaaa thank you! I definitely want to add some extra effects to a post jam version. It was my first time making a game with Twine, so I didn;t have enough time to work on that :)

@exofrenon thank you! the partner hint (spoiler here) can be found at the back of the photo: it might be a bit trickier to find :) i thought about adding some imagery but decided to limit it as much as possible (there is one art piece you get with the "true" ending only), as my challenge for this LD was to create a text game. clicking on the elements is probably another genre :) but ambient music is a great idea!

@aurel300 thank you for trying my game out! ohh I haven't heard about Violet! sounds like it's worth playing :)

Among Six by nOuChi 2026-04-27T20:46:35Z

i liked the atmosphere you've created with the music! lots of suspense here :) the tutorial was a bit fast for me, i couldn't read some of the passages. the characters reminded me of Tim Burton's! i think it would be awesome if the information on the characters apeeared on the side so you could study them more conveniently. i wonder how many impostors are there? i locked one but the game continued. it would be also interesting to know what the "strange behavior" was after the round ends!

Animations are really fun! I wish I knew what I am buying, though And that difficulty spike is insane :) Very nice work!

Journal of Poisonous Experiment by Aquaaa 2026-04-21T20:45:09Z

such a nice idea! i enjoyed the visuals. the plants are just gorgeous. i couldn't quite understand how do i understand which tag is toxic and which is not — if i get a signal does that mean that all tags have to be poisonous? i also encountered this bug on the third plant, first i thought that i just did something totally wrong :D

Babel Bluff by Pale Stream 2026-04-22T20:26:51Z

hi there! it is such a cool idea and an implementation of the theme :) i got really invested not only in translating but also trying my best to solve an intergalactic conflict! i probably wish that depending on my translation the options to choose would also change (like become more angry), but that is probably too much to ask :D i also noticed that i am mostly relying on common sense and can guess which option is the most viable without looking at the characters! or was that the intention? great art style as well!

No life detected by shimiki 2026-04-21T20:58:09Z

the art is so beautiful! signal searching was just as challenging as it should be, and the story is both melancholic and giving hope. thank you for this experience! btw it is fun to find a subbmission that is close to your own in some way :D

i love you, too by tolviere 2026-04-23T20:51:59Z

hi there! great entry :) the gameplay was fun and pleasanntly challenging, i expected it to be easier at first, but it made me practice a bit :D and the ending pic is just adorable!
