great job with the audio and the radio!!
Got it! ss_a.png
As an enjoyer of audio engineering this was a really awesome concept. My only piece of constructive criticism would probably just be that it feels like its lacking a bit of content - the person speaking to you after syncing the wave was really cool, I would definitely have liked to explore a bit more of that!
Honestly, I don’t really understand what this game is about at all, but I still liked it =) game2.jpg
@vladcfg I definitely could've done a better job of making the story coherent, but I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
This was super cool! I love the idea of telling a story via a single device (I'm actually prototyping something similar outside Ludum Dare), and it creates a nice possibility for immersion. The gameplay wasn't too challenging, but had enough variables to keep it interesting. Nice work all around!
I really liked the idea and how the sound adapts as a hint.
Very nice entry! It reminds me somme puzzle in "Nirvana Noir".
@julienlussiez this game looks sick as hell thanks for telling me about it!
@manabreak I'm glad it wasn't too easy or too difficult. It's really hard to get the right difficulty for a jam game, so I tried to veer on the easier side so as to not scare anyone away. Good luck with your game, it sounds pretty cool!
Soo fun!!
Super great game, the whole atmosphere is amazing
@tolviere : Yes and if you play, you'll see a similar mechanic at some point in the game! It's a nice game but it has some flaws. If you don't play it, I found the passage : https://youtu.be/qxgRmwWaY4c?si=Hqkeabo4uSBySzLG&t=6956
@julienlussiez Even if it has some flaws, I could probably have fun in this game just for it's art style alone. Thanks so much for the suggestion, and for checking out my game!
Amazing game and atmosphere! It feels so polished and I enjoyed the drawing at the end haha
Such an amazing technique! The feeling of constant adjustment until perfect alignment is really fascinating. Well done!
Cool!
I'm truly impressed with this game. The story kept me hooked while I enjoyed the puzzles. Excellent sound design. I appreciate the subtle sounds while playing with the signal.
a very innovative way to connect mechanic and narrative!
Amazing take on the theme! You build great atmosphere, and the gamemechanic is fun. The graphics look great. I wish I knew what was going on in the story though haha, but it did give some sense of urgencey while trying to get the next signal!
This was more engaging than I expected at first! Playing around with knobs and seeing the wave react immediately and jump around is super satisfying, reminds me high school electrical measurement classes... which weren't my favorite, really, but maybe they gave me enough training for this game! Feels like the real thing. Artstyle, while simple, gets the job done, sound design is well done, it communicates that you're close well, and I'm certainly glad that there's some extra space for slight wave differences, because without that, this could get really difficult. I would say that you nailed it, because it feels just challenging enough. I like that you tried to go with a simple story here, which gives it some extra juice. I liked the dialog letter effects, I definitely have to have a look at how it's done, because me want. :eyes:
@dzejpi Feel free to check out the source code, even though it's a complete mess. As soon as I found out how to do the text effects, I used them everywhere I could, I just love them so much. I maybe should've toned it down a bit, but I couldn't help myself. I didn't even really have to program them because Godot comes with something called BBCode that does it all for you. I'm not sure what game engine you use, but you can look at this if you're interested (ctrl-f wavy to go straight to it): https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/ui/bbcode_in_richtextlabel.html
If you don't use Godot, then I don't think that'll help you much unfortunately :(
I also used the Dialogue Manager addon which pretty much handles all the text scrolling and transitions and whatnot.
@tolviere code being a mess is part of LD. :) I use Godot too, so, it's fine! And I personally really liked them, I don't think they were overdone at all!
Really fun matching puzzle concept. The dials control very well too.
Awesome game, I enjoyed everything about it! Difficulty felt just right, controls behaved exactly like you expect and the mechanics really fit with the tone set by the narrative, graphics and audio. Congrats!
Thank you all so much for the kind words, it really means a lot after how hard I worked on it the past two days!
Amazing game! the gimmick is fun and the story almost made me cry
I liked the stories theme. It kept me anticipating what comes next. I feel like i lost track of it towards the end though. The input dials work, but become tedious over time.
@mischa-98 I did go kinda off the rails at the end with the story haha, and I agree with you that the dials get very tedious. Trust me, I've probably played this game over a hundred times, it got old REAL quick which is why I tried to keep the game pretty short. Thanks for checking it out! I really appreciate the feedback.
The audio is awesome and I like the concept. I actually think you could do like a timed, fast paced version of this and it'd be really cool. Especially on mobile? My big problem is knobs are super awkward on the computer with a mouse. If it was sliders, and potentially ratcheting inputs instead of continuous, that really would've brough it up to the next level in terms of playability.
Okay, so many cool things, as unexplained as the story is, it's still enough to give an idea of what's going on. The mechanic is genius (assuming you know just enough about audio design, but even if you don't experimenting still lets the user figure it out). Honestly, the only game I'm giving a 5/5 in every category, absolutely amazing with so much potential.
Well the mood was just great, and the story was pretty engaging. What happened to that poor girl haha Great entry!
I really enjoyed this game! The story made me want to keep going. The controls were very intuitive and also forgiving. Great game!
Hello fellow waveform enjoyer. Really clean execution of the concept, the dials and audio cues felt really nice to interact with.

The theme is very well interpreted, the execution is very good, it's a beautiful project, well done!
Nice job on this! It was fairly intuitive and interesting gameplay, with a good story to boot! Good work!
This was pretty much perfect. Very cool in concept and a wonderful experience that implemented the theme well. I saw the little things you did to enhance the immersion, like the shaking text - that goes a long way. The writing was excellent. This is the kind of game that LD is all about.
Very cute and cosy!
It's quite impressive what you've done with such a simple concept. The gameplay and story tied together well and the scope of the game was tight and concise --- it's not a game that overstays its welcome.
This game was the epitome of what a game jam is supposed to be for! Amazing job coming up with a simple, yet extremely effective concept that keeps the player engaged the whole time. I wanted to know more about the story, and felt like I was making progress towards it by playing the game. Only piece of feedback is that it took a while for me to understand what the story was about, so it might have a bit of friction for a new player who is just stumbling onto the game. Amazing job!
Clear and satisfying mechanics. Fits the theme perfectly. Love the visuals — everything comes together really nicely. Solid entry, nice work! Recorded my playthrough — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9AbJPikRXs
Simple and satisfying mechanics, original idea, and great vibe. Great work for only one developer!
simple but amazing! nice combinaton of voice and game
The dials were a really fun way to engage with the mechanics. I did struggle with getting the speed right as the wave stops moving whilst you turn it. It was cool to see such a fully featured oscilloscope and the sound cues worked well.
loved it, was really fun to play. there was a great atmosphere through the storytelling, and I wanted to get to the end to know how it all resolves =)
thanks for your fun entry!
Really great stuff! You managed to convey a beautiful and emotional story in such a minimalist fashion.

It's so much fun — this game really draws me in.
FM gameplay and heartwarming story, love this
It turned out to be really fun and interesting to tune the signal, and tying it to a little love story is very cute!
ended up manually catching speed, but the game is good, well done
Good job!
blin choto ne ponyatno
very cute concept!
The gameplay and atmosphere are great, but I didn't really get the story. Well done.
!!!!!!!!! Love <33333 love it love it love it. Adorable, simple, compelling. Definitely no watery eyes here nope
@avhatar Thank you so much for recording this! Great feedback as well! I can see now that I've made the margin of error for some of the waves wayyyyy too high. I couldn't really figure out a way to increase the difficulty without just decreasing the margin of error, but when I was playtesting it, a lower margin of error was just more frustrating and tedious. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks for checking it out even though puzzle games aren't your thing!

Are you freaking kidding me... this is such a good idea for the them and so well executed. Hands down impressed ... this is the most solid entry so far...
Good job :tophat:'s off ... :thumbsup_tone1: Left a GOOD rating
Brilliant way to cross theme with story, and it wasn't too hard nor too easy. And imho the story does not need more expanding as someone suggested, it told just enough for a LD game, and not getting into specific details helps the really important elements to surface.
The overall mood was perfect, great job!
Oh that's such a neat take on the "matching waves" idea, I love the storytelling and vibe!
My entry for this ludum dare is actually pretty similar to this idea of matching waves, but way less polished than yours haha
Great job!
Fun idea, we had a similar idea ourselves. Well executed
Very cute game and a lot of fun to get the signals to match, I do wish however that i could pause the scroller or my wave would move like the other one but I guess that might make it a bit too easy :P
Good job!
This game really hit the theme and it is also fun to play. Also like the sounds. Great entry!
It’s a somewhat cute game. I really like how it looks visually. I also like the idea of having the audio slider right next to the label in the menu - that’s a nice touch. Good thresholds for confirming waves. I think there’s a lot of room to expand, maybe by adding more mini-games and developing a full story. The image at the end is adorable :)
That was a great small game!
The gameplay was on theme and it was pretty fun to try and figure out how to match the signals up. What really kept me drawn in was the story telling. The vagueness of it all kept me asking questions, but there were enough tidbits that kept me intrigued.
Good job!
I appreciate how generous you were with the signals not needing to be entirely in sync. I'm curious to know how the "closeness" of the two waves was determined, it seems really complicated!
It's shocking how much fun I had simply turning dials. So much so, that I'm giving you the **It's Shocking How Much Fun I Had Turning Dials** award!

Here's my recorded playthrough to provide maximum feedback:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tj8Gkwk-wE
@100th-coin This was so much fun to watch! I love your voice acting haha. The closeness of the two waves isn't too complicated to calculate because each wave is a bunch of points all connected by lines, so I just added up the difference in height for each point. Thanks for recording this, it's really helpful!
The idea of the game itself is quite obvious, but I liked how it is made. I don’t know if it is intentional or not, but I had the feeling that the wave parameters are discrete by rotation. This is a very correct approach. Plus I liked the work with text. Pretty good, thanks.
What a fantastic concept and game. Great job!
It reminds me about the electronic music lesson when we were asked to modify the waves (also reminds me about the homeworks). Really great and innovative game designs. I'm curious about what actually happens between them and can not wait for a second part. Well done!
The gameplay and the narrative work very well together, and the vibe is also very good. I liked it a lot. A very good piece of work.
Great sound feedback when you get close.
The mechanism of the game is simple, but interesting!!Very matched to the theme!!Creative ideas! And I completed the whole game:)
Very creative and polished
Nice entry. I did not pay that much attention to the story in the end, but decoding the signals to progress the story did work well. You also managed to convey that mood of longing for reconciliation.
Great story! The controls are very intuitive and easy to pick up.
This is fantastic!!! I liked the forgiveness on the matching, but still accurate enough you had to be pretty 'dialed in'. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: It was fun just turning the knobs. Felt very tactile. I liked the 3 ping thing. You knew when you were getting close, but not close enough.
At first I turned the speed dial manually trying to match. Then realized I could actually just match it closer, and not have to track by hand like that. lol.
The text was hard to read playing in browser. I just guessed at which knob did what at first.
This was really satisfying to play!
I love it!! This concept is so easy to grasp quickly without much guidance! I especially love the feedback sound effect when you're about to tune to the correct waveform; I've always felt that being able to hear voices on a radio by tuning to the same frequency is like magic... It's so perfect for this theme! I also love the story! I appreciate the small challenges in this level design; they give me the determination to overcome difficulties and connect successfully, making me very focused.
Wow! That was incredible!
This game has a very sweet and kind message.
Very fun concept! It totally reminds me of the oscilloscopes I used in college lab experiments hahahaha. I really love this narrative style; it feels very unique for a prototype. Great job!
great unique concept, loved the game
The tuning of the dials is such a fun mechanic! well done
nicely done. the dials work very well.
Very cool, the controls are nice and intuitive and the story is just perfect! I also enjoy how smooth and polished everything is!
Fun gameplay and intriguing narrative. Nice job
I loved the mix between the simple gameplay and the complex plot. Great job.
never knew that tuning radio waves would be fun. also having an actual plot in a jam game is impressive
great concept and execution.
hi there! great entry :) the gameplay was fun and pleasanntly challenging, i expected it to be easier at first, but it made me practice a bit :D and the ending pic is just adorable!
I really love how simple and well-made the UI and graphics are, not taking away from the gameplay, and supporting the theme with the soft-colored palette. Also thank you for adding a little bit of the tolerance threshold, like I mentioned on itch, it really helped in avoiding the feeling of frustration of not hitting the right frequencies after some attempts. The story, although simple, felt touching. Overall, great entry!
The perfect mechanic for a game jam like Ludum Dare. Felt really engaging for the whole length of the game. Very enjoyable overall. Concerned for these characters! Could totally see a sequel work with an x-y oscilloscope ala the music of Jellybean Fenderson.
i stopped caring about the story almost immediately, but...
the signal matching gameplay cured some of my unresolved ptsd from undergrad. i really enjoyed it so full points on fun from me.
The speed knob was a nice addition to an otherwise pretty simple matching exercise. Call me masochistic, but introducing even more knobs toward the end would have spiced things up!
@hammeredzombie haha I'm glad you're honest about the story! I'm taking Signals and Systems right now, so this theme was perfect for me. Glad I could resolve your EE trauma lol
@caeonosphere Yeah that's honestly my main regret, I just wish I had added some kind of difficulty progression! More knobs could've been cool, but I didn't wanna scopecreep too much.
Very nice and charming game! The difficulty felt pretty much perfect, so really good job on the margin of error calculation
Very atmospheric and great sounds. Very nice game!
Such a fun and creative concept! Building gameplay around wave tuning is really original, and it even ties in some basic math and physics. The ending also leaves you with a nice, uplifting feeling.
Everything works perfectly here! Just the right amount of controls, of visual feedback, of story.
Absolutely no notes - perfect entry!
It's a simple but effective idea. I like it!
Really great execution! Feels really polished
Nice idea. Well executed!
Nice intuitive interface, cool concept. My main criticism is that once you've figured out what all of the dials do exactly, there isn't really much left to discover and the primary gameplay mechanics suffer for it. Would be nice to have some sort of mechanical progression in addition to the story one.
Regardless, I liked it overall! Strong entry.
Cool wave mechanic! Great job!Screenshot_20260427_065150.pngScreenshot_20260427_065318.png
That was an interesting game, which I played till the end. :)
I see it similar to @adam-gould. Here is my idea: It would be cool if you start with just two dials and after each "round" you get an additional dial. Would have gave the player a progression in gameplay and also a progression in difficulty.
Apart from that the little story was well written. I wanted to know what will happend next. You put the different story pieces in an exciting order. I like the little details, like the sound differences in the voices. The controls felt good and the green wave is a nice touch, which gives a good visual feedback.
The dials are nice but having both "frequency" and "speed" is a bit annoying as they are both kind of the same thing
:) Very fun! All great knobs. Love a good knob. The writing was good too! GOTTA SPIN FASTER TO FIND OUT WHAT'S HAPPENING, AHHH!
Good work with an interesting narrative
good entry!
I really liked how the author took an idea that was right on the surface and crafted such a neat, gentle narrative through gameplay. In my own game, we used the very same idea of understanding and misunderstanding, but expressed and experienced it in a completely different way.
Awesome game, I enjoyed everything about it! Difficulty felt just right, controls behaved exactly like you expect and the mechanics really fit with the tone set by the narrative, graphics
Really impressive game! the mechanism is simple and the storytelling is captivating!
Great work. I got really good at matching the signals by the end. The main mechanic is simple enough, but still highly enjoyable. Everything was understandable with clear visuals and audio. At no point was I confused what to do. Good stuff :8ball:
