Ha Ha .. Are you sure you made the art and didn't get help?! You are aware that this is a COMPO entry :D This one : NO .. so cute ! I love it. Say hi to them from a grandpa myself!

Incredible use of child labor. 10/10 so adorable and cute!
One day I'll figure out the winning formula. Cutest sound design possible, A++
This is wonderful. Thank you for sharing it!
Cute entry! It would lack more indications to get the right combo, but good entry overall
i feel like im so close to the answer. Screenshot 2026-04-22 050402.png
really like how all the items are colored outside the lines like a baby tried coloring them, fits the vibe
This is hilarious! I love it, and I absolutely can’t argue with your reasoning re: compo vs. jam. Great drawings and impeccable sound effects. It seems I’m not ready to be a parent: I thought perhaps filling the crib with grapes would work but got a -42% comfort rating, which… fair
> This is arguably a jam submission but since I also created the baby from scratch I’m counting it as compo.
I'll allow it! I understand how parental duties can make doing a game jam even more of a crunch, so this was a pretty impressive entry for what you got done. I love the art, SFX, and music. I got somewhere around 72% but just couldn't get any better. Having a toddler myself, I find this to be very realistic as he can be quite picky, haha.
> since I also created the baby from scratch I’m counting it as compo
I have made fewer babies than compo entries but I never figured out how to make a baby solo ;)
Great entry that was very silly. The sound design is obviously the star of this entry but "N" and "X" stood out as particularly great ones. Thanks for sharing
addas.jpg haha! probably being a new mom helped me find a solution :D the voiceover is adorable and, though i am not sure if i clearly see a "signal" theme here, i definitely had fun! a bit chaotic, a bit random, super easy and 100% enjoyable :)
wishing you luck with game design, parenting and a combo of both!!
Listen, I don't know what you want from me, baby. When I was your age I would have been happy to have *half* this many unicorns.
@gamayun-games you did it!! this made my day. <3 congrats on winning and becoming a new mom, it's simply the best!
The art and sound design on this is just adorable. I especially liked the creative colouring in of the shapes. Good amount of assets for only 12 hours of work. While I didn't quite get 100% I did slowly work out what was desired, perhaps being able to click to delete items would have been helpful. Still a great way to introduce game development at an early age :)
Well this is utterly adorable! I can definitely overlook the second participant on this compo game although nobody could argue if you also created your creative assistant from scratch within the time limit haha!
For such a simple game concept, it keeps your attention for much longer than expected and is executed very well! I love the discovery of the different items and it really makes you want to go through and spend the time hearing all the different words.
The scoring system keeps you engaged and makes me want to continue finding out what optimal baby crib is like. I was particularly entertained by the what seemed to be a lack of lower limit after scoring -610% ! I agree that having the functionality to delete items would make the game easier to figure out what the perfect crib is.
Overall, really fun entry and definitely unique, very impressive and polished for such a short time frame. I look forward to seeing all the future games this baby makes!
Side note: I have yet to figure out what "chickaboomboom" is...
@teto Thanks so much for the detailed review. PS:

Nice game, very cute! I managed to get up to 97% comfort and I think that the final 3% is good for baby's character building. Really nice unique vibe, and well pulled off (the art is crisp and the audio is very nice and clear). I like the music too, it fits the game really well. I had a fun time exploring every different item and experimenting with how they affected the final score.
> since I also created the baby from scratch I’m counting it as compo.
Very impressive creating a baby in 48 hours, putting all other mammals to shame! (I agree, this is a great compo entry)
Nice entry! Good job - especially doing it alongside everything else!
That was adorable. :)
I know the feeling of trying to cram in an entry at the last minute. I got called into work for one jam and by the time I got done I only had three hours left. I was about to give up but I thought of something easy to build that was on-theme and I thought it was utterly hilarious. It was [a pretty terrible game](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/the-dungeons-of-indianapolis), but I had a fun time making it -- and that's what counts, isn't it?
Cute game! Thanks for making it.
This is the cutest game. I loved everything about it. I've done the 'Ludum Dare while parenting' thing before now, so I feel you on that. Not much more to say. Good stuff :8ball:
**FYI:** Voice acting from others is allowed in the compo as long as the recordings were made during the event. It's under compo special exemptions in the rules along with fonts and company logos and stuff.
