This is really fun game. You came up with very unusual mechanic

@cireneikual222464 Thank you for the comment. I actually made this sound by my mouth :)
Cool idea, but I never got past the first level. It seemed too complicated. Most of all I liked how the player behaves under the influence of gravity. I liked the graphics in some places, but somewhere on the contrary it seemed that something was missing. It's like a good minimalistic style is mixed in with asset graphics that don't fit the aforementioned style.
There is a lack of screen scaling on the mouse wheel. It seemed strange to me that I couldn't see what was going on around me while I was riding on the platform. But in general, it's very cool to create something complex in just three days!
@andrewkennedy Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the audio - some of the raw sounds were sourced from the internet, so I wasn’t sure if I should even be rated in the Audio category. That said, I did spend a few hours working on it myself, and even used FMOD to create some more organic-sounding effects.
@anifan-gelati Жду вашу команду на следующем Индиконе! >:3
Cool mechanic, but I found the controls a bit tricky
First of all, I really liked the music - for some reason it felt surreal and fit the game perfectly. I’d love to see more enemy types that start appearing after a certain distance. Also, I didn't notice the red boundaries a couple of times and died, which felt frustrating. Maybe teleporting the player to the opposite side of the screen instead of making bounds, like in similar games, could work. It’d give more freedom without overcomplicating things
The controls are clever - a smart way to avoid building a full platformer controller when it isn’t really needed for the game’s concept. Also, the mood is great!
Liked the game :3
The gameplay is pretty simple. I really liked all the metallic sounds, they are really satisfying! As for the electric sound and the alarm sound - they came off a bit annoying and maybe too loud. Overall, nice game!
I feel like the game would play better without the weapon delay, but overall, it’s a nice twist on Space Invaders
As always, your style is instantly recognizable. It must've taken a lot of work to bring all that graphical magic to the screen. The atmosphere and mood are great!
Thank you, everybody, for playing and leaving your feedback, I really appreciate this!! :D
@t90 About the darkness, I've actually received quite a few comments mentioning this problem (not only here), so I plan to add a brightness slider at the start, like most dark games do.
(should've added it from the start )
@zidan-banan Thanks for the useful links! Yeah, I admit the gameplay in this one wasn't very strong. Still, I really appreciate the thoughtful feedback and the resources you shared. They'll definitely help me improve next time :D
:krutoblin:
The art and sound design are very polished, and the gameplay loop is engaging throughout the whole game.
The clicker mechanic was clever, it gave me something to do during short moments of downtime. And I also liked the leaderboard - the ability to leave your nickname there made the ending feel more personal.
Great game! :D
