Art and sound design definitely could be improved a lot. Gameplay is easy to undesrtand, which is good.

good old rogulike systems make you want to push just a little bit further, get just a little bit stronger and faster. Game plays very well, however no art or sound really hurt it. I wish it had at least some basic sound effects and a bit better sprites (and sprites for when you dig up more valuable tile). Overall pretty good but underwhelming due to reasons above. Still very decent submission, good job!
Pretty cool simulator, graphics are a little underwhelming even though it is hard to make decent 3d assets during a 48-hour jam. Overall plays decently well, good job!
The visuals and sound really sell this game to me, gameplay is simple but thematic and on point. This is inspiring, wery well done, comrades!
p.s. I would love to see artist social media (like artstation) but i can't find team members anywhere (though if aninymity is intentional, its understandable)
Visuals look interesting however i can't say they work best for this type of game. Your daughter must have an Eagle Eye if she managed to find everything as quickly as you say, or it's just me turning blind with age haha. I love the take on the theme, and music is nice, though a bit too loud.
Jump definitely could use some work, lack of sounds also hurts immersion. However the overall puzzle game with world transition is interesting even if the puzzle element wasn't very challenging. I love how different worlds look. Also, there was some buggy restart.
pretty good little game and the art is cute! I wish there was a bit more to do during the gameplay, but either way great job!
Had to take a few tries before i fully understood the mechanics, overall the game is nice however bouncing off hte small balls was a little annying, it kinda ruined the fast pace of the game. Other than this little critique, game is wonderful, excellent submission!
Gameplay is nice, easy to understand but maybe lacks a little bit of features, which is understandable. Graphics and sounds are way too simple, i am not sure 3D is necessary for this game. Overall the game is pretty decent, and i liked the theme interpretation of going deeper into the forest, however graphics and sound design pull it back. Decent job anyway!
Music is really cool, though sound effects could get a little bit more work, shots don't feel impactful enough :p Art design is cool, combination of low poly 3d and character sprite looks very nice, though i couldn't really understand what enemies are. Overall a great game that plays nicely!
I really want to play an expanded and polished version of this game, well done! My only critique is it seems rather hard from the start, its hard to understand how much of power different equipment consumes and all.
interesting concept but it felt like game lacks some polishing, dialogs skip randomly, and it is hard to get into it at first. Visuals are nice, though my suggestion for future would be to find a good color palette and work with it, lots of different colors that don't mix well together create a bit of a bust picture.
Interesting game, i can see a lot of potential in it. Obviously there is always room for improvement, regarding art, sounds nad gameplay overall, but as a 48h gamejam submission i find it very nicely done.
Pretty cool game! With enough polishing it could really shine, but even now its nice and enjoyable. Would be nice to be able to just hold move key to continuously move, art and sound direction is good, but of course could always be improved, which is understandable for a 48h gamejam, overall very solid submission, good job!
Pretty funny concept, music is nice and fits the gameplay.
Damn it takes a while before brain adapts to the controls, very well done. Graphics and sounds effects of course could be better but 48h is 48h. Very nice game overall, great submission!
Mechanics are easy to understand and get into. THe only concern i have is a difficulty spike that happens just after a couple of digs. Theme interpretations is excellent. Visuals are nice and telling, maybe the crab we play as could stand out a bit more (maybe swap colors of enemy crabs and player character). Overall very nice game.
Very cool concept, sadly lackluster graphics and no sounds. Mechanical interpretation of the jam theme is wonderful, gameplay is fun.
Interesting, it reminds me of text quests from the game Space Rangers. Obviously if it had some music and visual design, it could be really immersive, but even without it it was a pretty compelling experience
actually pretty cool concept with clever puzzle elements and adventurous vibe! Obviously cant rate high on art, but other than that a very decent submission
Concept is nice, I like mechanical interpretation of the theme. I didn't exactly understand how game mechanics first at first, some more clearance would have been nice. Graphics are good looking, however sometimes submarines blend in with background and bubbles and get lost, would be good to highlight them somehow, especially since player needs to keep track of themselves and opponent at the same time. Overall solid submission, good job!
Creatures and a their animations are very well done, though goal of the game and challange were not really clear. Just swimming around got boring quite fast. Sounds are also quite basic (thought at least they exist, which is not always the case on the jam haha). Overall pretty cool submission, good job!
Interesting iteration of doodle jump, i like the aesthetics and music/sfx. Orange platforms shine bright and literally asking you to jump on them despite being the ones you should'nt jump on, which is a little annoying. Obviously game is not very high on the innovation scale, but otherwise pretty fun and goodlooking
Thanks everyone for the thoughs and feedback! There are a few aspects i knew i needed to work on, such as lack of music, no progress indication, better tutorial, but unfortunately I ran out of time. Thank you all for playing!
Tried your game, honestly after a certain amount of tries i gave up. Maybe it's lack of understanding of rules of american football, but I couldn't also understand what determines where the ball will land on Y axis. I think mechanics of throwing the ball could be a bit more clear. Theme as depths of the field i think is a very cool way to interpret it. Oldschool style graphics are nice and pleasing.
Damn sound, music and visuals really set the mood! Gameplay is simple but that means it's easy to understand and get into playing from the first or second try. Well done!
Actually, pretty decently feeling platformer, obviously art is very crude, but it is no surprise if you only spent 10 hours on it. Overall, the controls and the game feel nice to play.
Very cool game, sound, art and game mechanics work really well together. It was a bit unclear to me what placing your units serves before the battle, seemed pretty irrelevant, though maybe I just didn't properly discover it's impact. Overall very solid work, my respect
This game has a lot of potential and i feel it. At this state though it is a bit lacking in content and some things are hard to understand, but regardless it is a very decent compo entry!
Pretty cute and funny concept
This is my type of game, i really enjoyed thye idea and fiddled around with the blocks for a bit. I am gonna come back to it later and actually try to score something decent. A little bit uncomfortable regarding UI and controls, but that is totally expected for a compo ld
Agree with above comments generally, but the level of polish is pretty good for a project that took 48hours, respect
This deserves a very high ranking in mood for sure
Very cool entry, i kinda wish graphics were just a liiiitle more polished, the obvious game engine scene is a little distracting for me
The game has pretty good feeling to it, though i kinda didnt understand what exactly am i supposed to do, but outside of that i spent some time playing around with nodes and their connections, pretty cool
to @sirplop and anyone else who has or will play this game - my apologies for lack of optimization, i have very little coding exsperience, and i simply didnt think of how to deal with extreme amount of objects in game, so if you want to create big complicated systems, please try not to use multiplication of signals too much =)
@nikiroz thank you for feedback! yeah, i totally agree - there is a lot i would change or add in this game, mainly player feedback and better UI, but compo is compo
@metalgear at least he is still alive! heart keeps beeping
@paroxysmal damn dude, such a great idea, why didnt i think of that on sunday......
Extremely decent compo entry, well done! My only real critique would be that as soon as i saw that i have a ticking timer - i stopped reading any scanner messages, felt like these two features fight each other for my (player) attention.
As a compo game - my respect for pulling this off. The graphics are a bit messy and make it hard to focus on what is going on.
Stylish pixelart
Unusual idea, and decent implementation, not sure how its related to the theme though and felt a bit too difficult for my taste
