Really awesome making a multiplayer game for the compo with a CPU. Really love the concept, and the graphics look great! I don't know if there's supposed to be audio but it didn't work for me.

That all said, it's very tough with the enemy so closely mirroring you. Some delay on the movement and some easiness would go a long way, especially for first impressions.

I think I am understanding that the bullets cause you to sink a bit, and gameplay wise I think that's cool. Feels kind of like sumo wrestling pushing towards the edge. I think with the repeated hits kind of locking your movement for extended periods of time, it just makes the game feel unresponsive. If instead you made it sink every 3 hits or so, but sink a bit longer, it'd be easier to play around offensively and defensively.

The enemy using bubble shield at the same time as me too felt like it should be avoided, just take out the enemy bubble shield.

Overall, it leaves a very confusing first impression, it's difficult to tell what's going on. Really needs some info on the game mechanics for the player to read.

Underneath all of this is a really cool concept for a multiplayer game, kudos for that. But the only thing I've managed to crush is my confidence that I could ever beat this CPU :)

Right off the bat, love the sprite work, love the colour choice! The bot wasn't amazing and the game was lacking some feedback which made figuring out what was going on a little confusing for a few seconds, but if you had more time to stretch this out to a submarine themed sh'mup then having verticality be both health and opportunity to split paths it could become something really cool!

I like the concept of pushing players around instead of having a health bar, though I think the feel was mostly a bit too floaty for me. Probably would have felt much improved if there were more than one way to affect the enemy's position. As it is, it's mostly a "spam button" game with "use your shield whenever you can". I liked the art, and everything's reasonably on theme.

Nice art style and great ideas. I had some Issues reading the games interaction, but i guess it is because i had not that much sleep. great work ๐Ÿ‘

Love the art style! The controls were a bit snappy, I think having more momentum and inertia would help the game feel a bit more fun. I was a bit confused on what the goal was but I think its just to take the enemy ship out? Maybe a victory or something should pop up rather than an endless arena style gameplay. Regardless, nice work!

Concept is nice, I like mechanical interpretation of the theme. I didn't exactly understand how game mechanics first at first, some more clearance would have been nice. Graphics are good looking, however sometimes submarines blend in with background and bubbles and get lost, would be good to highlight them somehow, especially since player needs to keep track of themselves and opponent at the same time. Overall solid submission, good job!

I wish the instructions were a bit clearer; it took me a bit to understand that zapping the enemy (or getting zapped) doesn't do damage directly but instead makes you sink. A bit like a shmup-ish take on Smash Bros.

The graphics are solid, though the lack of audio is a bit of a letdown for an action game like this. (Yes, a bit hypocritical coming from someone who didn't include sound due to lack of time, but still!)

It took me a bit of time to understand how the game worked, but once I did, I had fun! I love the idea that it's the depth that kills the submarine rather than the bullets, itโ€™s a clever use of the theme. The art is lovely. But I think the bubble bar and health could stand out more, though; they blend into the background a bit too well.

Incredibly cool looking one and i like how enemy's behavior works there. Additionally, color scheme choice is really gud.
