love the atmosphere, great job!
The atmosphere is a WOW, good job
Hello, I cant play your game. It didnt started... I will try again, but i think its best to see if everything its ok
It's very atmospheric. I also want to mention the very cute animations, but I'm not really sure how to finish the game.
I really like these games, pixel and horror are the best combination. Great game!
I liked it, it's an interesting and gloomy implementation!
Interesting idea and implementation. It was funny to hear the sounds from Undertale)
Cool atmosphere, great job. Good luck!
Hey! The game's idea looks pretty cool, but I only found two enemies — the rest of the mine rooms were totally empty! Would love to see more content in there!
@devilxrom thx for playing, read description. for win the game you need kill a main boss on start. i would have added new opponents, but there was not enough time(
You captured the vibe you were going for perfectly, and this fits the theme really well; I can definitely tell that you've got an eye for aesthetics. The turn-based combat felt very under-developed, however, and the "infinitely generated world" mechanic doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose in the final game. I think that this could be really cool, if given more time to develop the gameplay.
@ten10gu thx for the tips❤️
It's a very atmospheric game, and I really love pixel art.
Cool atmosphere, I like how you put the final boss at the very start, it creates a sense of progress when you come back and beat him. The game was a bit short it only took me like 3 minutes to beat.
Impressive atmosphere! I like your art very much.
It can be better if there are hints that the deeper area is actually empty......When I play the first time it took me much time to find out whether there are anything in the deepest of the map.
@rubatotree thanks for playing, actually when i first started doing it i had the idea to make it harder the deeper you go, but there wasn't enough time
Really loved the mood and the way the story starts - getting thrown into a boss fight right away was a cool narrative hook. Gameplay-wise, the exploration has promise, but rooms look a bit samey and empty, and combat felt too simple (scrolls didn’t offer variety, so it mostly came down to pressing E a few times rather than making strategic choices.). Still, a solid concept with great atmosphere!
You made it in PyGame??? omg this is amazing, very good job, good game, cool atmosphere
Love the post-processing, ambient and horror aesthetic overall. I also liked that the character is moving between the rooms with only one keypress this helps to focus on what's happening on the screen, instead of being annoyed by the fact that you need to walk.
I think puzzle/adventure game would suite this aesthetic as well. E.g. instead of fighting your parents, the player might've needed to find specific item to release them (maybe a bone of father, tears of mother, etc.) which is behind a small easy solvable puzzle.
cool graphics and art, nice story!
Very nice dark vibes :)
Creepy sauce! Great atmosphere with the graphics and sounds.
super nice it is a good best seller indie game
The game is a great start for something good.
1. Use smooth scrolling instead of jumping from room to room. It felt like I had no control of my character. 2. The fighting need work. Put the character on the same ground as yourself instead of above you. 3. Allow for the WASD movement as well. 4. Allow the character to move a little at a time like Stardew Valley
The music was good, the sound effects were good. The game was dark, too dark for me to see everything.
Thanks for the play
@beebster-games thanks for the tips, after jam i'm maybe upgrade the game
Is it really infinite? Because I defeated the ugly face and couldn't find a way out.
The atmosphere was really good. There's a sudden cut at the end of the audio. A loopable track easily solves that.
The idea is cool, but without anything visual to help you orient yourself, it's really hard not to get lost. I noticed that there are coordinates, but something visual in the scenario would be more interesting.
Congratulations on the game.
:)
@euler-moises thank for playing, after killing ugly face game is winning. I'm thinking about finishing the game after the jam. Perhaps instead of a cordinate there will be a compass)
Outstanding visual style and atmosphere, amazing job! The eerie music and sound effects really add up to the dark, unease, and creepy feeling. I loved how there was no main menu or anything, just a single title scene to tell the overall context, which reminds me of games like Limbo or Inside.
I tried to go around the map after taking all 3 scrolls, expected it to have anything more to collect or just to see if it would end, by it seemed to be endless, and it took me a while to get back to the first room because I was at a coordinate of like 50-60-ish haha!
There's nothing to say bad about this game, even if it does I think it would be that the game doesn't support WASD movement input. But regardless, this is a solid entry for the mood category, hope to see it got a decent placement, as it already takes 1st place in my own result!
@constance oh damn, thank you a lot, i'm very pleased by such feedback❤❤❤

mmm ludum dare site, Mike, i can make you a new site for free, and add the function of deleting messages :krutoblin:
Hi! I liked the visuals and atmosphere. The general meaning of the plot was conveyed well. At first, I didn’t understand why I couldn’t choose a card for the first battle. I managed to collect 3 scrolls and went down to the 20th floor, but didn’t find anything in the locations. The rooms feel too empty. I’m curious about what was originally planned overall. What’s been done in 2 days looks pretty good. The Undertale vibe is a plus)
Thanks @tsukigan, originally, i had the idea to make it more difficult the deeper you go, but i ran out of time ^(
Yo! Spooky game. Quite a bit of potential, exploring the narrative a bit more and adding a little more writing could go a long way!
Met you on stream and got the vod timestamp here in case you are interested: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2428950737?t=1h16m9s
The controls are clever - a smart way to avoid building a full platformer controller when it isn’t really needed for the game’s concept. Also, the mood is great!
Good job finishing a game for LD!
Me and my friend discovered the diagonal movement bug and we thought it was funny. XD
10/10 would kill parents again. This game is cute and intresting even though its a tad bit short. It makes me want to merge without looking! noce.png
Wow — the atmosphere, visuals, sound — it all absolutely *hits*. Gives off strong Undertale vibes, in the best way. You can tell a ton of effort went into the game feel, and it really pays off. There’s a solid foundation here, and I honestly think it has real potential for a full Steam release.
As for the issues — I think they’re pretty clear. The combat feels a bit underdeveloped, and the different scrolls don’t really bring meaningful variety. But I’m sure you’re already aware of that.
For a second game? This is pure juice. Amazing job. Hope your game gets the attention it's deserves
@flinge thank you very much for the feedback, i really appreciate it. regarding doing something more with this game - i think it's too early for me, as i have almost no experience in game development. and i'm very uncertain about this. right now i'll be spending time developing many games, honing my skills in the direction of atmospheric games.
What an experience. This game truly shine by its atmosphere. And it seems well polished as well, not really "botched" as jam games tend to be. Truly great work, well done !
echoing (get it?) what others have said here, the atmosphere is outstanding. honestly would love to see you develop it further, I think the combat could feel a bit better and expanded upon? impressed you managed to create it solo just over the weekend regardless. super nice submission!

Почитал комментарии, понял, что игру я всё же прошёл ^_^
Очень хорошо сделано - сюжет, графика, даже боевая механика есть. Отличная заготовка для чего-то большего. Ждём продолжения ^_^
Mood is so tense you can cut it with a knife. As much as I'm not a fan of the horror genre, it's so atmospheric... Really snappy and straightforward controls, "battle system", and movement. Really well done! Short but sweet :)
I really like the mood your game sets from the beginning. I found the story really eerie and weird in a good way. However, I didn't really get the gameplay. I mean I've won, I think, but you only have to walk until you find the relics, then return and win, right? The atmosphere is awesome, the fighting needs a little bit more work but overall a really nice concept.
I'm a sucker for spooky pixel games, so this was a treat. Wonderful atmosphere! The audio was especially entrancing. I also love the little extra burst of momentum you get when climbing up a rope. I did get lost at one point trying to return to the final boss, and eventually I strayed way too far away, so some reminder of the final boss's coordinates would be helpful—and frankly, having the coordinates to begin with was a smart decision. Good job!
Oh the atmosphere and pixel horror is of such beauty. At first I thought this was a pixel platformer, but it was a really odd (in a good way) RPG-ish thing. It had such charm, short and sweet. I highly enjoyed this one!
Solid entry with an incredible mood which fits with the theme. The gameplay and the narrative line are good. The boss fight is great. Maybe a little bit too dark, but this is your aesthetic choice. Why not? Thank you for your comment about my own entry. I wish you the best ++
Very atmospheric, cool shaders too!
