So sorry for the late reply! It means a lot to hear what you think about the game. Thank you for your support! :rocket: :sparkles:
@jacat @fassenberg @drsmey @purpledartfrog @last-angle @w2k @nkvz Thanks so much for the praise! I really love working with minimalist sci-fi visuals and warm lo-fi beats, so it’s heartwarming to see they resonated with you. I’m already excited to experiment with some new styles next time!
@oradimi @gdman @babyfoodstudios @peppersalt07 @mr-flower This was my first time trying to tell a story through illustrations in a game, and I’m so grateful for the positive response. I’ve always been a bit insecure about my storytelling, so all the kind words about the plot mean the world to me and have given me so much motivation!
@bigfatgua @senkoril Thanks for the feedback! I apologize for the latency issues and the lack of a proper pause menu—I realize making 'Esc' quit the game was a design oversight. I’ve definitely learned from this and will be more mindful of standard player habits in my future designs~
@cagibi @jerrywest @z1116730 I realize the difficulty curve and the tutorial for new mechanics could definitely use some refinemen, thanks for 'suffering' through it wwwww Given the time constraints of the jam, I had to keep the mechanics relatively simple, but I’m looking forward to finding inspiration to polish the game and add more depth in the future :rocket: 'Zero Game' was a group of friends I used to make games with—I really miss those days when we were all learning game development together. And honestly, I'm still a student! So I'm really touched that you thought I was an experienced developer—that means a lot to me.
@zbrogdom @tyrrer Haha, thank you both! I only slept for one night during the jam—the second night was a full all-nighter to get all the assets and code together~ I really appreciate the concern, and believe me, I’ve been catching up on plenty of sleep since the submission xwx
