Runs fine on Mac (once I overrode SIP in system settings -> Security). I like the idea behind the flashlight freezing moving objects. Not the easiest platformer, I fell many times!
I love the concept, works well with the theme! Mac build ran fine for me (on an M2 MacBook) except it was blocked by System Integrity Protection (launching it from the terminal is an easy way to bypass). Also found the keyboard controls pretty challenging. Persistent explosions are interesting, but found the enemies backed me into a corner pretty fast if I wasn't playing like missile command and shooting down all their torpedos
I like the ambition here, but I'm experiencing pretty severe input issues on the Mac (ARM) build. The keyboard input is being treated as if it's textfield entry, which means the cursor keys are triggering the system error beep, and holding down any of the letter keys pops up the accent-entry popup.
Love the stretchy physics and the narration style. Managed to bug the physics out a couple of times, but I know that's a rough thing to tune just right on a short timescale.
Really clever interpretation of "depth". I'm not the biggest point-and-click fan, but that was entertaining, and not too hard to figure out the sequence. Kudos for the unusual game development setup too!
I enjoyed the path-placement mechanic, and the grimdark narrative flourishes before each level set a great tone. Definitely something worth exploring here.

That's a really meaty game for a compo entry, good variety of units and map layouts, well done!

I was able to play it on the itch.io page, but I haven't figured out how to get past the locked door in the starting area yet
