"Finally i can leave !", the ambiant of the game is very impressive, that's an impressive work for a compo entry, the gameplay is simple (collect and upgrade), but work fine. This can be a smaller part for a bigger project.
The "No Man's Sky" we needed ;)
Agree with the No Man's sky comment haha!
This is really expansive on a compo deadline, well done!

@tristam-macdonald thank you!
Hi, thank you for commenting our game. I wanted to play yours but unfortunately there is only a windows version (im on osx) is it possible to compile it for web?
neat game!
The work on the sound is absolutely massive! As a sound designer, I can say that the sound creates a complete picture in terms of style and tone! And the game itself is really well done, especially considering it was made in such a short amount of time!
Hi, Lana, nice to see you on Ludum Dare again! This time I missed the streams because I had to focus extra hard on my game, but I just want to mention here that your ld streams have become part of the event already! So I hope that you release a video on yout YT about the game, so I can keep up with it.
Anyway, it's a very interesting game and mechanics, I loved the planet! Well done.

Wow, it's quite huge for a 48h jam, good job ! I like the atmosphere of the game, i felt that i am under pressure and this planet seems really hostile.

+ Plus 5 STARS FOR CHROMATIC ABERRATION - Minus 5 stars for no LD link in the itch description... + Plus 5 stars for adding LD link to the description after the feedback! :D
In all seriousness, amazing work for the Compo time, I appreciated not losing resources or dying badly after stretching the time, and the general mood was amazing! My only feedback: - It was easy to fall in the pits later on, but I found an exploit to escape them (tap space furiously :D) - Subtitles would be great to better catch all the narrative-setting lines! - Music would be a splendid add post-jam!
Damn! That was so nice! So good work!

the world and atmosphere you've managed to create in such a small amount of time is very very cool. tho it did feel like you just barely put enough materials to get to the next tether upgrade, which was a little tedious (and one of the materials i had to randomly stumble upon in the ground). could probably be fixed by having the materials regenerate.

Very impressive for a compo game :O Great atmosphere, nice visuals, and fun to play too! Well done!
Warning! :astonished:
Very nice mood/atmosphere! Voice acting gives A LOT of life to the game haha. As others said, it has "No Man's Sky" vibe to it, which is pretty cool!
I had a little trouble with visibility, maybe a flashlight of sorts could help with that. After some time, it was kinda tricky to find the materials. I was also surprised that I could keep them upon dying (but I won't complain haha). That being said, I really enjoyed the progression and the fact that every time I could get a little bit farther, or spend a bit more time outside. Really cool entry, I like how it explores the XZ axis instead of Y for depth. Good job!

Ugh, game just looks gigantic. Especially for compo. A lot of work has been done! Good entry!

Good work. I like how you handled the rendering! Though the walking is a bit jelly-like and I would have preferred more interesting resource collection.
But the colors turned out just right!

It's amazing what you managed to do within the COMPO time frame. As a big fan of NMS, it was nice to be able to walk inside an actual ship, and the voice over was a good addition for the immersion. That voice over would make us want to have a more narrative version of No Man's Sky :D I think the overall visuals are very coherent and give a nice mood. Got very bad at harvesting components unfortunately, but outstanding job anyway!

Really cool concept and strong atmosphere! I was impressed with how solid everything felt, especially for a solo jam entry done in just 48 hours—nicely done! The visuals and sound work really pull you into the setting. The only thing that caught me off guard was the super quick ending -- I was so into it, and then boom, it was over. Would love to see it expanded with more content or a longer narrative. Great work overall!

The concept and visualization of the idea are top notch, the accompanying music and graphics, in fact I sometimes wonder how people create such harmonious games in such a short time, I highly recommend playing it

I'm amazed you were able to create this game in 2 days. Did you make all the assets yourself? Really fantastic work, and frankly the most complete resources style of the many I seen on the gem
I did feel that some of the resources were hidden in places that felt out of bounds - it's only thanks to the fact they you can practically go anywhere while jumping that I was able to find them
I actually appricate the fact you can't die in the game. Fantastic atmosphere and amazing work

The atmosphere of a desert planet with a large sun in the sky and dust clouds that obscure far away sights sets the mood, with the narration and story as the cherry on top.
Some issues I ran into were resources that weren't collected and remained (visible) bugged out when the player was teleported back to the ship while collecting. I also found that I could spam jump and climb everywhere including on top of the ship. Some resources seemed to be in spots that looked out of bounds.
With all that said impressive game jam game.
Nice straightforward upgrade path and some really nice mood here. Great audio too!
Great overall gaming experience and environment setting. Solid and rewarding upgrade mechanics. I really liked the internal dialogue voice lines as you get deeper into the planet, and the abrupt ending is perfect!
