Favorite game I've played so far! The audio is great, and it's super satisfying to paddle the bits around. Feels nice to just have simple controls to walk into as well. Well done!

Love how well the progression through the levels introduces something new and fresh while upping the difficulty naturally! As always, the charm levels are through the roof and the build up of the narrative pays off well throughout.
I tend to have an urge to move paddles quickly to send things flying in these type of games, so I think that might be what was throwing off my controls as the gameplay example you have is smooth and more relying on bouncing and aligning angles, while the act of moving the paddle to hit the bolts made it harder for me to align my shots.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed playing through this! Another excellent Hayden game!
Wow what a great entry! And even a boss fight! You are a person after my own heart!
I feel like you could have made it a smitch more difficult and one idea would have been to enforce a minimum distance from the orb. As is the best strategy for most of the game is to just sit inside of the orb as all the spawned signals bounce straight in! A description for the upgrades would have been nice, and since the amount of signals you get per level are always the same maybe something different than a level bar would have fit better? Maybe something like signal strength that increases each level and that gives you the fixed upgrade points?
The bouncing is super satisfying, and you really nailed all the juice you put into each part of the game! From the wiggling to the sound effects and the music kudos!
As always very cool entry! Also great ending scene. Only thing I noticed it that it wasn't really clear to me what the stability upgrade means, but still great work!
I enjoyed playing this little game. The good point for the jam is to have upgrade system without real impact on the gameplay so it is predictable at any run and still satisfying that you are improving something between waves! Great job and great entry!
PS or there was an impact from upgrades... anyway on my laptop I didn't see the health and played without knowing how much left, it was even funnier, like playing Last of Us without the HUD
Wow, I think this is the best one I've played so far. Really well done, engaging, clear what should be done and what should be avoided. I finished it on the first run, so perhaps it could be a bit more difficult, but I also understand, 48 hours, not a lot of playtesting and balancing possible, and rather error on the side of caution.
Maybe add a main image for your game for display purposes?
@gideongriebenow I totally missed the cover image, thanks for pointing that out! Glad you enjoyed the game
Fabolous... absolutely love the click sound when hitting the power icons .. simple to understand and easy to play. Really good job :thumbsup_tone1:
Left you a rating
Not gonna lie, I though this game will be "forgettable". But I really enjoyed it x) Very good game feel and reminds me undertales. Well done :D
A masterclass in how to make something simple into something awesome. My only nitpick was being annoyed with the boss lingering at the bottom of the screen and throwing away all the bolts.
Great job overall!
Amazing, 10/10. And the feedback, just wow!
This was really fun! Simple mechanic implemented in a really satisfying way :)
I know where you were going with that upgrade sound... but damn its scratchy and loud! it was yelling at me!!! Rest of the sounds are really well done and I enjoyed them a lot!
Also a whole boss battle with an epic finish made in just 2 days?!.. not to mention actually snappy controls and everything? This is great!
Really cool, i certainly didnt expect boss fight lol
this was fantastic, the UI and everything was so polished and felt incredible. the progression felt good (albeit a little easy) Overall just a really good entry!
The graphics are super cute, the control is really smooth, and the gameplay is really fun! Thank you for making this cool game!
Really got hooked by this one. The "story" kept me going and thankfully the game wasn't too hard either. Very well balanced for beginners  Enjoyed the music as well. Well done!
It's such a delight to try a gamejam entry made by a dev that just knows how and what to do. Great idea, very fun progression, extremely well balanced, simplistic but effective animations.
I had a feeling that this is exemplary "This is how it's done, folks" type of game. I am impressed. First all 5* from me on this jam.
One of my favorites this far! Commonly I sucks whith this kind of game, but I managed to finish at first try, and I had fun doing it! And many levels, increasing difficulty, and even a boss fight! Good job, well done!
Wow, this is so good! The graphics might be simple, but they do their job, and everything looks nice and neat. The animation for when you get level up feels great! But most importantly, the gameplay itself is fantastic. I love pinball-kinda games (not sure how else to call this) and I feel like there are not many of them out there. So it felt super satisfying for me to play. I love how you upped the difficulty in creative ways!! And then, the boss battle. Took me 3 or 4 tries, I'll be honest! And then the ending was so EPIC?? Like the story is not too deep or complicated but I got invested! Great game, really feels fun and complete ^^
I'm going to be honest -- I did not expect such depth from this game judging by the screenshot. Lesson learned and I'm so happy I gave it a try and played to the end! It's one of the most polished entries I've played and one that I've rated the highest so far. Mad respect for fitting so much variety into this in just 48 hours. Scene transitions look great, the audio fits the gameplay well, and I really liked how the difficulty progression was more than just "things move faster" sort of thing. I did not expect a boss fight either, and in particular I love how you incorporated the upgrade UI into the gameplay itself. So many good ideas! The game kept giving the longer I played. It's the kind of games I'm here for. Loved it!
I love it. The upgrades were a pleasant surprise, and the increasing difficulty of each stage had a very natural difficulty curve.
With my incredible power of subtle-gradient-detection, I noticed the satellite dish was not just a solid color, but very subtly getting brighter towards the center of the dish. I'm awarding you the **Incredibly Subtle Gradient** award, as proof of your background art asset mastery.

Very juicy! The comparison to Undertale feels intended, but in 48 hours I can't expect the same "oompf" in the music. It got easier and easier over time. I just kept close to the ball and waited for bolts to spawn.
