Not Today Satan by Lucas Carvalhaes 2018-12-04T02:17:40Z
Enjoyed the game quite a bit, might lack a bit more direction level design wise. But i enjoyed it nontheless

Enjoyed the game quite a bit, might lack a bit more direction level design wise. But i enjoyed it nontheless
@johnsensei Hm, we didnt manage to properly test the mac build but wanted to include it anyway, there might be some issues with the resolution degradation shader on macs. Sorry about that
Thanks a lot for playing and for all the feedback @linear, i am unsure whether we will do a post LD version of the game, i suppose we will see after the holidays. But again, thank you for the feedback!
Wonderful clicker game, incredibly pleasing feedback from clicking and the graphics are just great. Just great job on this
Great game overall, was not too fond of the nacho looking fire. Other than that it was very satisfying to play
Absolutely loved the whole thing, i just wish i was better at the game, also would have been nice to have a crappy sidearm with infinite ammo, or at least an option to punch the goons if you run out of ammo. Great job!
Graphics were quite pretty, transitions between levels were smooth and felt good and general feedback was solid. The gameplay however left a lot to be desired, and i simply failed to see any fun in it.
Requires some balancing as it is incredibly difficult to manage each different task.
Very solid game, quirky gameplay mixed with so much level design and content. Absolute blast to get crushed constantly. Would love to see a polished out version of this game. Overall great job on an incredibly fun game
This was quite enjoyable, also always fun to include a highscore list! Very nice job on a simple and surprisingly fun little game
Game looks very nice, movement is a little janky and boy am i bad at this game as well. Spent most of the time just failing to do anything worthwhile, just blowing up things and finding more bombs to blow up more ground. I also somehow managed to restart the game about 4 times without realising how i was doing that. But all in all it was a very nice game, especially the artwork which was superb.
Quite an enjoyable little dungeon crawler, simple and sweet. All the movement and combat was quite fluid and nice. A solid very nice from me
Very neat game, smooth mechanics that feel good so overall really good. The audio however hurt my ears quite a bit
I'll be honest i did not read what i was supposed to do before starting and so i started by killing all of the residents. I realised this was wrong after the first five or so.. but by that point i was too far gone. I then proceeded to attempt to exterminate the wildlife, and after planting around 500 turrets and killing thousands of the encroaching wildlife i decided that continuing at what was now about 2 frames per second was too difficult so i finally embraced death by charging a horde of those creatures. Would have loved to see a counter at the end of how many i ended up killing. But honestly this was fantastic, i really enjoyed this and there is also some real charm in how your engine renders the 3D environment everything just feels so otherwordly. Thanks for this!
This is the best thing i've played all year, after stopping i can just feel an emptiness in my ears. When is this track dropping on spotify, i need it in my life
Very impressive little tower defense game with some very carefully crafted visuals which i loved. I made it all the way to wave 14 and sort of got tired of waiting as the wave took an incredibly long time and nothing was really happening. But up till that point i quite enjoyed it!
This is by far the best LD game I've played and i must agree with @thorpalsson I've paid for a lot of worse games than this. I can't find a single thing to nitpick at, just incredible work
Was a blast to play, felt like a similar style to Overcooked and boy do i suck at Overcooked. It was a very frantic time and i ended up getting everyone killed of course but i thoroughly enjoyed pretty much every aspect of the game. The sound was a real highlight for me, the muffled voices and just the general vibe of all the sound effects was fantastic. The graphics are also top notch especially considering the time constraints of a game jam, so a great job on that part as well. Overall i really enjoyed it and its clear a lot of good work was put into this gamejam project from everyone involved, great job!
@otterfaelure This is high praise coming from the developer of the highly acclaimed ear worm game, the song is still playing in my head
Felt like a nice and imaginative take on runner games, jumping did feel a bit jank but it was overall very nice. Solid gamejam entry, well done!
So i managed to play until my eventual death by simply running around putting flasks in various places and tossing the key at all the doors a few times. I tried equipping the key to open the door to no avail but i must admit i did not try rubbing the key against the knob.. which one comment suggested. Overall i think it's a decent submission with some nice mechanics in place but could do with some better guidance for the player. The sound and atmosphere were very nice though so good job on that front
@azambie I think the biggest issue for me was the lack of clear feedback on how to use the key and where to use it, its clear that it leads to one of the three doors but there is no clear way of using it on the door as there are no indicators on how to do it. Also something i forgot to mention before it was really nice to see a 3D project coming from Godot, really exciting to see how the 3D engine is coming along there!
I was expecting to go into a horror game from all the visuals and the music but large static monsters are not particularly scary. The platform mechanic was alright although i felt it was quite repetitive as it is the only thing you do, jump around and get dolls from platforms that fall. Could have done with some more interesting level design. But overall it's a decent gamejam entry, plenty to improve but you did manage to create quite a lot in a short amount of time!
This was very fun, the small minigames and the very rapid escalation of them became quite tense. Great job with this entry!
Interesting idea and quite spooky, I had an incredibly hard time looking at the food however as it made me want to vomit. So all in all i was moderately spooked and near puking so well done!
Great visuals, some work could be done on the grammar in the dialogue but other than that great job!
This was pretty neat, well done
This game is almost perfect, it would have been perfect if it had not ended before the pizza arrived. Love the voice acting and the movement is sooo slick
This was quite fun, i really enjoyed the part where i fell
Zombies and cards, great combo!
This was fantastic, become very hectic really fast quite fun!
I'm a terrible person. Or so they all said
Absolutely beutiful artstyle, from the moment i saw the main menu i knew i was in for a visual treat! The music and audio complemented the visuals and the gameplay so nicely which is not something you see often in gamejam projects. Incredibly good job and I expect to see more of all of your work in the future, would love to see a full game from all of you!
The shooting felt a bit jank, especially when you were being shot at by about 8 aliens at once, which happened in both of my playthroughs after about a minute of playing. Not sure if that's intentional or maybe i'm just terrible at the game.. But it was very well done for a gamejam, tons of stuff and things to do so well done!
I said yes to goblin and stabbed the towns people, i have no regrets. 10/10 game
Simple premise that works, good job!
A fun use of the 10 second theme, i'm a sucker for word based games so i thoroughly enjoyed this. Great entry!
Having played the earworm game from the last LD i knew i was in for a good time here. The soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is quite fun. Crab crab
@nilolo Nooo my highscore, how dare you be so good at our game
Absolutely beautiful artwork, both the 2D art and the 3D. Fantastic feedback on all gameplay elements and just really fun to play as well. Really great job on this, it's quite incredible for an LD game.
Very pleasant little snail game, would have been nice to have an end state. But I liked living the life of a garbage eating snail for a short while
Very good at getting industry to win, am I the problem in todays society ? Enjoyable and relaxing title, clean artstyle and felt quite polished for a jam game. Great job!
This was fantastic, thank you for making such a unique game. Also loved the video that inspired this game, great entry!
This was a joy to play, visually and audially it was simply perfect. Felt like playing a vertical slice of a larger game. Always exciting to see what you all make, been following you around since VargaVinter in LD50. Look forward to seeing your next entries!
Very nice pixel artstyle, a very interesting take on the delivery theme. Well done!
@kadenzombie8 It's all custom tracks actually, we'll be sure to poke our composer and ask him to put it up on youtube!
@bart-diepvries I'm afraid the game would not run at all on a web build unless we scaled back the graphics far too much. As for a mac build, we have no way of testing a mac build properly due to lack of any macs on the team and so could not really troubleshoot any problems that would probably arise with shader incompatibilities and such. Sorry :(
Very ambitious to make a roguelike, lots of interesting things in already and would be interesting to see it further developed. Good job!
Running headfirst into each other for optimal service. This is true realism, fun little entry with some interesting ideas!
Fun little card game, struggled a bit in the start just figuring out exactly what to do but quickly caught on. Made it to the kings tomb in the end but sadly the tomb itself took me out. The graphics are very nice, and it plays very well overall. Great entry!
I got 107 astronauts killed, but i did learn the difference between meteors and meteorites so that's something. This was a fantastic game, i had great fun carving paths towards waypoints by just yeeting ships at full speed into anything in the way. Well done!
The UI looks great and the graphics looked very nice. Good entry!
This was absolutely fantastic, great entry!
I've started looking up your games every jam now and they never disappoint. Such a lovely little mystery game, not particularly difficult but very enjoyable, the voice acting, music, art and the fluidity of the gameplay itself was just fantastic. Always a joy to play your gamejam entries, look forward to the next one!
Neat entry, had some stuttering in the start on my browser in the Web version, i'm using Opera GX. But otherwise it was quite fun, quite difficult to keep going after you die once however
Impressive work you've done with your engine, and making a multiplayer game for a gamejam as well is quite the feat in itself. Good job!
This is a nice entry, nice use of the theme. Incredibly stressful to play, my poor ship did not make it very far
Love the aesthetic of the game, and the general vibe of it. The gameplay is simple but fun although I did crash repeatedly which was a bit annoying(I was not spamming the dash key, it just happened). But regardless of stability i thought the game was great, and it was a lovely entry!
Neat entry, always good fun to shoot some spiders!
Love the concept, felt very polished. My poor computer did not survive for very long though, was a fun frantic battle to keep the virus at bay. Great job!
Very pretty looking game, incredibly polished pixel graphics. Gameplay feels very nostalgic and nice aside from the somewhat floaty movement. Overall very nice entry!
@potatofinch He might be small, but he has a big heart
@pickens-inc thaank you very much, and thank you for the feedback. You would have loved the initial placeholder gun sounds which were from our programmer making a popping sound with his mouth but yes we did rush the sfx for the guns quite a bit at the end there hehhhh
Love the graphics and the overall atmosphere, the music goes great with it. I did however have some issues with the gameplay, after getting the first summon I just got kinda stuck. Might just be me being a bit thick but I was unable to finish a single one of the timed challenges, also failed the platforming one. None of them seemed quite possible. Regardless of all of that i thoroughly enjoyed failing at the game, fantastic entry!
Very nice and cozy narrative game, the atmosphere was great and the voice overs and sounds really made the whole thing come together. Great entry!
Even with a skeleton crew you made something so pretty and something that feels so polished, lovely entry. As usual the gameplay was smooth and felt great and the art was top notch. On top of that the audio was also great, really drove home the narrative in the game. (Also that impact sound when you hit the larger fairies was weirdly amazing). Always a joy to play your entries!
Fun take on a quick and dirty RTS, also great fun to throw goblins around. Good job!
Never imagined stacking angels would be that fun, incredibly well done on the visuals and just the general polish of the game. Everything felt very nice, although I would have wanted a more dramatic end when my angels inevitably tumbled down. Fantastic entry!
What an incredibly polished little game, it's a shame i am absolutely terrible at these sort of games but damn is it well made. Veeery good job!
That was such a great vibe, love the aesthetic the sounds and just about everything. Very fun entry! Also got first place which I of course have to advertise.

Looks and plays really nice, shame about missing the compo deadline but a great entry nontheless!
Every single jam you peeps make something fantastic, but this entry is something else. I can't find anything to fault it. Everything just works so well, its so polished and so enjoyable. Thanks for making this lovely game!
Short and sweet, very fluid controls. Good entry!
Very nicely done
Very nice vibe, smooth controls for the most part, might be a skill issue on my part but i kept accidentally hitting the damn kelp things when i was turning around. Very solid entry, great work!
Oh man, I had a ton of fun in this. Well polished gameplay and superb graphics, the little cutscenes looked incredible. Everything fit together incredibly well, super entry!
While fishing therapy sounds like a great idea, I'll stick to getting tattoos and buying wedding dresses as my therapy. Lovely entry, same as the others said before the entry would have really shined with some SFX but altogether a solid game with a funny spin on therapy!
Very solid entry, game has a really nice vibe to it and it combines my two favorite interests, fish and occultism!
Very cute little game, just submitting something it a great first step, but creating something that actually feels really nice to play on your first try too? thats pretty damn good. Keep it up, it only gets better from here! image_2025-04-08_115133033.png
Very neat premise, enjoyed it up until the big color memorization puzzle where my brain decided to quit on me. Could easily see a lot of these as puzzles a co-op experience similar to We Were There. But doing color memorizations on my own was a bit abysmal(for my small rat brain). Really cool concept and well executed!
this was fantastic, the UI and everything was so polished and felt incredible. the progression felt good (albeit a little easy) Overall just a really good entry!
Very neat graphics, was a bit strange to have so many movement mechanics when you have a grappling hook so that ended up being the only thing i used. Pretty impressive to make so many mechanics in such a short amount of time too. I ended up enjoying it quite a bit once i got the hang of the different combat mechanics and how to use them properly while i was grappling around like a monkey (I love grapples). Good job!
Went insane from the soundtrack, I put out enough destroyers to level the whole map just because i could before finally revealing what i assumed was the last structure to win, had a lot of fun. Really well done!
